A real gem hidden away in the tiny town of Comrie. A warm welcome by owner Katy set the stage for a lovely evening for myself and my wife. We sat in the comfortable bar area and ordered our drinks and chatted with Katy and another guest. The menu was small but impressive, with an emphasis on local produce and seafood and meats. I settled on grilled Shetland scallops to start with, followed by roast rump of lamb, and was very pleased indeed. My wife began with asparagus, followed by hake, and again she was very happy.
The wine list was thoughtful and affordable, and it was clear they were not marking up as much as some restaurants like to.
I thoroughly recommend a visit here. read more
