It was, hands-down, the best massage I have received in decades. My therapist, Jennifer, was phenomenal. She used the exact right amount of pressure everywhere and checked all the boxes for what I needed. I never once felt uncomfortable; the entire session was a purely serene experience. Beyond the incredible bodywork, the boutique itself is stunning. The decor and atmosphere are fantastic, and they have soothing ocean waves playing in the background that instantly wash away your stress. First time there and will NOT be returning Was only able to book a 50 mins deep tissue massage (that was the only option but I'm happy because wtf). This 50 mins included cupping. Everything including tip came out to 175. Absolutely overpriced. Massage was mediocre. So much so that I had to go to another massage place shortly thereafter (check out my reviews). Wouldn't return. I can't believe this place exists. I'm so happy this place exists. Let me go into depth here because my God. My sister got me a 50 minute massage for my birthday last year and I had such trouble finding a day that worked and stuck. I had to reschedule a bunch of times and they were GRACIOUS and KIND and most of all UNDERSTANDING. Even today I was having trouble getting there and the manager was so sweet on the phone and thankfully was able to push my appointment back a bit so I wasn't late. THEN, I got there and was met with smiles and kindness. Mind you this place is beautiful. Clean, sleek, and they have infused water ready for you once you walk in. The check in process is easy and you just have to fill out your information on an iPad. The pre-massage consult was thorough and concise at the same time. My masseuse Johveeka was attentive about my pressure preferences and the areas I preferred and didn't prefer. She was informing me every step of the way and kindly answered my questions. Now the Massage. Spectacular. Fantastic. Relaxing. There were wave sounds playing in the background. And mind you, walking into the massage areas is like stepping into a different world. It is exactly what you'd picture a relaxing getaway to look like. Dimly lit, quiet, bohemian decor around. When you get into the massage area assigned to you, it is thoughtfully arranged. A basket for your belongings, a hanger for your jacket, a table for your phone and other things. And the massage table is HEATED with 2 blankets. Johveeka needs a raise because I nearly fell asleep like 9 times. Her hands are gold and I absolutely recommend her. Thank you so much, Johveeka. The after was amazing apart from the massage being over :( I was greeted with a cup of water after I got dressed and walked to the front where I finished up any remaining paperwork and thankfully they had the option to tip on the card. This review is for Hope, and Hope only. I've been to NOW Massage a couple of times now and the experience varies wildly depending on who you get. I did an 80 minute massage with Hope and she was incredible. You need to get the deep tissue to experience the full pressure (I didn't before and barely felt a thing), but Hope made me feel like I was on Cloud 9. She was so strong and covered every inch of my body. My only disappointment is that my mother who joined me did not have the same incredible experience I did, hence I knock off a star. If you come here, get the 80 minute because the cost isn't that different, definitely get the deep tissue and no matter what, go with Hope! read more

This was the among the worst experiences we've had with massage (both my husband and I). Atmosphere terrible. Not private space. Had to discuss the massage in advance in a very small room with two other guests being interviewed by their therapists. Massage therapist seemed untrained, not present, didn't ask any question about how the massage was received in realtime to make adjustments. No one at the desk asked about experience. It was very expensive for a less than professional massage. Will never return. Don't recommend. Had to give one star because they don't let you do zero. read more

Listen! I feel like a brand new woman. I just ran my first marathon yesterday and I knew I'd be in pain, but I also knew I needed this (The Stretch 50 min). Surprisingly it wasn't too too bad, pain-wise. And I feel so much less pressure and tightness in my body now. I say this every time, but Hope B is a literal angel from Heaven. She is pure magic. Following the cancellation of my membership, instead of a refund, they extended the service period, only to cancel my scheduled massage on the same day. The reason? They demanded the removal of my negative Google review about my terrible experience in exchange for the massage, in other words I was blackmailed. This turn of events left me not only without the service I had paid for but also feeling deeply sad and disappointed . As the saying goes, "what was cheap was expensive." But the fact remains the same: the massage was barely a 2 out of 10 & the whole experience was CONCERNING & POOR! My friend arrived on time & got ready for the massage. That's when things went downhill: 1- in the waiting room amongst other guests he asked her personal questions about her preferences and medical info even if she'd already filled out their online intake form. This info could've been asked in the privacy of her room and immediately made her uncomfortable having to disclose publicly 2- although I paid extra for the deep tissue pressure to be applied, the massage was light at best with no intensity or pressure. My friend owns a very successful massage studio herself hence me requesting someone who knew what they were doing. This was not a true deep tissue massage. So FAIL. 3- curtains separate you from the other guests so you hear everything! If your intent is to relax or you're noise sensitive...forget it 4- It gets worse from here on out... The masseuse was breathing so loud that it seemed he was getting tired. Making it hard for her to relax. 5- Then HE SWEAT ON HER BODY a few times & apologized. You heard that right! Despite him apologizing, hygiene wise no one expects to have their masseuse sweat touch their body. No one! All in all, the massage was a 2 out of 10 and she couldn't wait to get out of there. It was an uncomfortable experience all around and not worth the hefty price tag. I complained to Alissa who apologized, stating she felt bad since she was the one who referred him. She then offered a complimentary session but neither me or my friend was interested because of the very poor experience overall. So she offered a full refund stating she would get management to issue the refund to my card since she didn't have the ability to do so herself. They never did. So I paid $227 for my friend to get sweat on...just awesome! This could be you so take heed people!!!!! The management of this company disregarded my friend's whole experience because according to them she seemed "happy" on her way out. Non confrontational people smile when they're uncomfortable. Plus how many examples do we have of ppl seeming to be happy when they're not. It's called coping! That's 0 indication that she had a great experience. I won't be servicing this business again or recommending them. And urge you to look at their negative and lowest reviews first before getting sucked in. read more

The receptionist, Gabby was so disrespectful and unprofessional. I called because the card on file wasn't working, so I had a new card for her. she asked about a "Suggested gratuity" to add to the charge. I let her know I would call my husband to find out if he left one and to do so, because it was him who went for his birthday. he was down the street and could have walked back up to leave a tip. she couldn't get past me telling her to charge my card the appropriate amount and kept repeating about a tip and forcing me to do so. she then hung up after multiple times of me telling her to charge my card and I will figure the tip out after. montclair used to be a proper place, as I am a native. gabby needs to have some decorum moving forward. that was unacceptable. read more
