I've have been going to farmer in the deli since I was a teenager and b4 any of the social media…read moreexploits. The original name was called laurose and tuna salad chopping has been happening for over four decades. My fort green family really know what it is. My cousin and I stopped by yesterday and picked up a couple of heroes. I had to get my beef salami and 3 pepper colby jack cheese, extra mayo, lettuce, tomatoes and pickles, on a whole wheat hero (10.99) . Much love to a family staple for years. Definitely a place for you to pick up a sandwich that won't break the bank.

3.5 stars I came to…read moreFarmer in the Deli cause of the hype it has on social media for thier viral chopped sandwhiches. I arrived and of course thier was a line. I waited for about 45 minutes, while waiting I picked up my chips and a white peach ginger ale. I also talked to the girl in front and she explained that you can get your sandwhich on a hero or roll. I ordered a chopped honey turkey with onions, pickles, lettuce and mayo. The guy who made my sandwich was soo friendly and patient. I just put my trust in him to hook it up lol. He also asked if I wanted to add the chips and I did. Overall my sandwhich was better the next day after it firmed up. The flavor was good but the texture was soft, mushy and just not what I want in a turkey sandwhich. It ran me about 12.00 and it was worth the experience.

I've been here in person maybe like 10 times now. The food is terrific and the service is great,…read moreeven when things are difficult. Everything is good, but highly recommend the BECL in the malawach wrap with the edith's sauce. -I've had the BECL, SECL, PECL, sephardi wrap, the middle eastern, the chocolate chip cookies, the chocolate babka, and the iced coffee. -The only one that was kinda mid was the middle eastern. The flavor was solid, but it's super messy and the textures did not combine well. -The cookies are super thin and the buttery, crispy kind. Like Tate's but more chewy and way better. -The pastrami is pretty greasy, but tastes amazing. -Edith's sauce is delicious. Get a side of it regardless of what else you order. -I did not know what a malawach wrap was, but it's great and I get it every time now. It's most similar to roti, but more buttery and flakey. -The quantities are not always consistent. Sometimes a breakfast sandwich is overflowing with eggs and sometimes it's just normal, but that's reassuring to me because it means it's human made and they're doing it fresh every time. -"Cheesey scrambled eggs" apparently is different than scrambled eggs with cheese. It means the cheese is cooked in with the eggs rather than added to the sandwich. -They warn you when they're busy and food will take a bit longer. -They got my order wrong once and offered to refund me because it took so long to make another. -They have a self serve water station with plastic cups. -Staff are always super chill and helpful. -Sometimes the music is pretty loud. -There are only about 12 seats in total inside. Maybe 6 counter seats and 2 high tops with 2 stools each. -Sometimes when they're busy, they don't wipe down the tables in between customers so they get a little dirty. -There's no bathroom so I wish they had hand sanitizer since most of the food is eaten with your hands.

updating my review based on the famous heirloom tomato blt they have every year -…read more it is 1000% worth it and you have to make the trip out if you're a lover of tomato season! they do great quality control so you're guaranteed super juicy and fresh tomatoes paired with delicious soft, chewy bread. it gets hectic but it has become my yearly staple!
