I booked on August 8th for an August 15-18 stay, but had to cancel due to a death in my family. Bryan was unapologetic and downright rude about enforcing their rigid policy: within 14 days, you get nothing back. Outside that window? Still a $25 "admin fee" for a tent site. There are plenty of other gay campgrounds that are friendlier, more flexible, and actually care about their guests. Maybe that's why it was so easy to snag a last-minute reservation here. Pretty grounds can't cover up an ugly attitude.

The new shower house, bathrooms and pool are amazing. The bonfire and block party (hosted by their seasonal campers) were a blast and inviting to everyone. Already planning our next trip back. This Hyatt was much like the other Hyatt houses we have stayed in, spacious, clean, and happy staff members that were extremely nice and professional. If I had any critiques it would be thr unexpected $14 parking fee in a lot separate from the hotel, the kitchen is on the boutique scale ie: the fridge is a mini, and the breakfast has been my least favorite. Other than that everything was as expected. I love Hyatt houses. I think this particular one fits the mode for the area it's in. I would come back. My girls had an awesome time in the pool. Again. The pool was on the smaller side but thankfully it was only occupied by my 4 girls and they had a great time. The photos online are as expected.

They do not acknowledge you as being a Hyatt loyalty member which was disappointing, as it just adds a nice personal touch. The room was clean for the most part. The furniture had a newer modern type of vibe. The lamps were nice and had extra charging ports. The time X alarm clock also had extra ports. I was assigned an adjoining room, although I did not request one. I wasn't staying with anyone, but there was an adjoining room and it had both the bolt lock and then the hotel security lock so it felt OK. The bed was comfortable. I wish they had a full mattress cover, instead of just a square padding that covered the middle of the mattress. It looked pretty clean. I didn't see any stains on it. The only stain was like a black ink type of stain on the lower corner end. The bathroom was pretty clean. Overall I was satisfied with the room. The continental breakfast was better than I had expected. It was actually the best continental breakfast that I've had in all of my hotel stays, so kudos to Hyatt. The gym which is shared with the other conjoining hotel was very nice also. I did not partake in the bar or the dinner area so I cannot comment or review on the food or service there. So one main gripe I would say would be the parking. I think $14 a day for parking is a little steep, especially with the cost of the room itself. It should definitely be included. So would I stay again? I would.

Campsites are nice. They have added some pull through sites for larger rigs. They do allow tent camping. Beautiful place to stay and more updates coming, from what we're told! They are working on getting bathroom and shower facilities in place. Pleasantly have outhouses which are kept clean and tended to regularly. Highly recommend!

I have no idea why Hilton doesn't have a standard anymore, but they're making me wish I was Marriott lifetime instead of Hilton lifetime. I don't like the rolling barn doors on bathrooms. This is a Home 2 feature. It's loud at night and wakes your spouse. I also don't appreciate the automatic light switch. The night lights are enough if you're using the bathroom. Has anyone tried thinking about the guest when they build these? This place doesn't really remind me of a typical HGI. Not a fan.
