I don't have too much to say about the drinks as I just had water, but the food was tasty and exactly what we needed on a cold afternoon. To start out, we ordered the famous beer cheese, and crab cakes for the table. The famous beer cheese was similar to a fondue but it was prepared well and had me wishing I had more. Very tasty and perfect for sharing. The crab cakes were equally tasty and tasted fresh with a nice consistency. As a table, we ordered the mariemont salad, the Cuban, the famous burger and a bowl of chili. I don't have too much to say about the burger. It was tasty but nothing out of the ordinary. The salad was unique and was shared by 2 people at our table. The Cuban was filled well and good value. Its always nice to see a restaurant not skimp out and deliver a nice product. In my opinion, the star of the show was the chili. This was a hardy, filling and extremely tasty chili! And of course, it was exactly what I needed on a cold, cloudy day. I ended up ordering a second bowl, it was that good! I would reccomend this place for a casual meetup with friends or family. Plenty of cozy seating inside, fast and friendly service and great food!

It's a salmon patty on a ciabatta bun with basil pesto, arugula, tomato, and garlic aioli. It was DELICIOUS. A lot of times, fish based patties will be too flaky and won't mesh well with the flavors of the sauces. The balance on this dish between its flavors and textures was top notch. I am highly intrigued to go gather some friends and take them here try more of their menu! The fig & goat cheese bruschetta is calling my name Also pictured are what my parents got: fish + chips (subbed chips for a side salad) and the grilled chicken sandwich Our service was slow at start; we showed up right at 6:30 when it got super busy and so we sat for about 10-15 minutes without having been served. Once I made eye contact with the waitress, she was able to come by and our service there on out was very timely!

The server was a little silly--singing loudly, off-key and auditioning material as sports commentator, but she kept our glasses filled and brought our food out piping hot. No one else seemed to mind, and who can't use some levity? Prices were reasonable. Interior is uninspired, but the owner came by and introduced herself and talked about the work they're doing bit by bit.

We were expecting a crowd, but we were the only customers there aside from a gentleman sitting at the bar. A few more tables were filled by the time we left. There were six of us and most of us ordered burgers and fries. The burgers were good. The fries, not so much. Everyone that had fries agreed they were bland and tasteless. Mark had the bologna sandwich. He said it wasn't "thick cut", but rather more like several of pieces of bologna fried together. He was disappointed. One person ordered potato skins for their lunch. I didn't ask, but I saw they looked small and a bit dry and sad. Service was great, but the food...at least what we ordered, was lackluster.

The bad: -The jerk fries were very undercooked, good flavor but you can look at them and know they weren't finished cooking. 5/10 The ugly: -Was quoted 15 min, took 40 min to get my carry out order. I would return to try other Mac bowls, seems to be their specialty. I would love to see a seafood option offered for the Mac bowls (lobster etc). I would also like to see maybe some hand cut fresh fries for the loaded fries to justify the high pricing. Happy Hour pricing is great!!!!

There are so many different variety's of mac n cheese, sloppy joes, chicken etc. They also offer Koolaid, which makes me feel like a kid visiting my grandma. The Mac n cheese stole the show. It's just so good. The cheesiness is perfect, the macaroni was cooked perfectly. I am so impressed with the flavors that were bursting in my mouth. The cornbread was absolutely delicious. The texture was amazing. It was so light and buttery tasting. I didn't need to add anything at all to it. It melted in my mouth. The fries were perfectly seasoned and crispy. I got all sides and the price was very decent and the portions for sides are nicely sized for someone that eats off the kids menu.

Last year, I came here with a family member and she ordered Spicy Garlic wings, I've not forgotten those wings since! Now living out of state, when I came home for the holidays, one of the main things I wanted to do was getting my hands on those Spicy Garlic wings! And, they did not disappoint. While watching the football game, it was only fitting to get a beverage. This time, I enjoyed a beautifully balanced Kentucky Mule! So good! Shout to you, Denise! The Queen of Concoctions! She works her magic behind the bar. Her energy and smile is infectious. Shout out to the kitchen staff too, the food is great! Fasser's is located on Madison Rd in historic Madisonville. This quaint store front spot is the perfect location to enjoy time with friends! Want to get your competition on? Fasser's has board games you can play right at your table! Prices are good here, and you get bang for your buck here with your food order. And, the wing sauces they're signature! Developed and created by the Owner himself! Psst...gotta try those Spicy Garlic or Bourbon wings. There is plenty of seating at the bar, within the restaurant, and they are creating space for a back patio. Game room/lounge space is also available. I can't wait to come back! Such a cool spot to vibe out, and worth coming by. On Saturdays things turn up a notch with a live DJ at 9pm! Come and hang out! You'll have a good time!

The bar is located in Madisonville and it had some rougher and not so rough areas around it. Inside it had a beautiful bar and multiple high top tables made from barrels. The music was on the louder side, making it hard to talk at the tables, but possibly a good thing if you are in the mood. It took a while to get the bartender over to our table. Surprising because there were only 3 parties in there for lunch. She had told us that she would be right over, so I waited, but next time I would just go to the bar. They only had one paper menu asking for you to use their app which needed way too much personal info. The paper menu had only a third of the items on the digital menu, We chose the "Fasser" a pimento and green tomato sandwich on rye and we also went with the Monday special of a burger and fries. Tried to get the beyond burger to stay meatless, but they were out. I was shocked that the bartender/waitress was not familiar with the namesake sandwich....possibly should have been a sign for me. I ordered a soda it came, but only 2/3rds filled. We then waited some time for the food to be prepped. Maybe they were doing a ton of delivery business, but at 45 mins in I had to ask them to make it to go because we were running out of time. I also got a refill on my soda - again 2/3rds filled. When the food finally arrived it was delivered by a sweet elderly woman who apologized telling us it was the first time she made the Fasser. (Giving an extra star because she was so nice) I then paid for the food and realized the soda refills were not free. We quickly ate the sandwiches on our journey. The Fasser was pretty good, but really salty. The burger was nothing to write home about, but the fries were good. I will probably not be back, but I was happy to try the Fasser.
