Good, my nails look good. The place isn't really clean. The technician didn't ask if I wanted nails cut or shape but came out ok. Kind of rushed me to pick a color and initially only showed me about 20 colors. But overall I'm satisfied with color and nails look good. read more

Great price $25 for pedi with massage and super nice people. Just the filing of my toenails was a little rough. The nail file was totally perpendicular, should've been angled, but I didn't say anything which I should have. I'm sure she would've adjusted. My daughters had mani with gel ($25 + $10). If I could rate my experience zero stars, I would. I went for a new acrylic set, and my cuticles were cut to the point they bled on MULTIPLE fingers. The stylist continued at her pace and ignored my pain. Over 12 hours later and my cuticles are still sensitive and painful under touch. Two of my nails CRACKED the SAME DAY I got the manicure. The pedicure was decent, honestly nothing special. I have been to nail salons over the US, California, PA, NJ, etc. This is one of the first places I'll mention as one of my worst experiences. I will NOT be returning. Note: My friend also came and received an SNS (dip powder) manicure. The color was dull and the shape was uneven. She was also very disappointed. read more

So incredibly unprofessional and rude. Technicians were laughing and talking about another customer. I was cut multiple times. Nails crooked and bumpy. Acrylic was put on top of cuticles so they started lifting after 2 days. Had to go to a different salon to have them fixed. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Got my nails done for my sisters wedding since I was a bridesmaid. Even though I had an apt and showed up half an hour early. the woman pushed me to the waiting area for over an hour while accepting walk ins. After an hour of waiting I had asked what's going on. She finally took me. She had a nasty attitude and didn't even listen to me when I told her what I wanted to get done to my nails. She also never asked me what length or shape I wanted she just chose for me. I have never had such a horrible experience in a woman's salon it was a horrible experience and she was so rough with my nails they prob spent 45 mins filing even when I continued to say out loud that hurts can we please be done and was still ignored. . I got a horrible infection. By the time they were done with my nails they were so raw. The acrylic nails looked like absolute crap wasn't even an even paint job and no cross examination to see if the nails were even similar in size like they are supposed to do. I paid for the nails and she had the audacity to get angry at me for not giving a tip. I was sitting for over an hour in the waiting room. I was treated with attitude when I was nice. I should have done them myself it would have came out better. I ran over to evies and they thank god saved my nails and were able to give me beautiful acrylics for my sisters wedding. I don't recommend soho nails at all don't waste your money and time. I was at the salon a total of 3hrs and it was a complete waste of time money and energy. read more

I went in for a full set of acrylic nails. They gave me a guy who seemed really nice. When he was filing my nails, he tore my cuticle on my thumb and it was bleeding pretty bad. He noticed it was bleeding, and put some liquid on it which stung really bad and made it stop bleeding in less than a second. He then made my nails uneven, after checking multiple times to make sure they were. At checkout, I knew i should have left a tip so i asked one of the ladies to break a $20 into a $10 and two $5s. she gave me two fives and kept the ten. I told her to give it to the man as a tip and left. it's been 22 days since i went to that place, and i still have 6 nails left that won't come off. I'm also almost positive i have nail fungus and am currently on my way to buy over the counter treatment for it. Never bring your business here!! read more

I have been so happily surprised by this cute little salon nestled on Main Street in Newton. This was my third visit in the past 2 months. The salon is clean, excellent sanitary measures in place at every step, and my mani/pedis have lasted better than ANY I've had since I moved back to NJ 11 years ago. The staff has been attentive and professional each time. This is my new salon for sure. read more

Yuck! This place is disgusting. They didn't change out the towels at the manicure station--there were clipped fingernails and cuticles all over the dingy towel. The tools were not changed out between customers and didn't look like they had been cleaned in a long time. The pedicurist scrubbed my foot so hard that it bled. They also have a sticker in the door claiming to be BBB accredited. I checked the BBB website...they aren't. STAY AWAY! read more

I don't know what happened to this nail salon. It used to be one of my favorites but, today I had a pedicure on a busy Saturday and it was awful. Four separate people worked on my pedicure. There is a serious lack of hygiene at this salon. The owner kept switching people to do one thing and then another. Not relaxing. Poor hand washing in between clients. The staff were lackluster and the work is poor. Sadly, I won't be back. read more

Ok so this place was pretty gross. Doesn't appear to be dirty just from looking around but once your there a while it become apparent it is. The pedicure stations clearly use all the same tools without sanitation in between. The callus remover tool (name?) was worn down and clearly needed to be replaced. They also switch nails techs in Between and never wash their hands eww. I left with the same amount of callus on my feet as I came in with . The nails themselves look fine but the rest of the pedi was such low quality. The massage was short and little to no pressure. $25 that wasn't enjoyed. If this place was anywhere in nj except Sussex county it would not survive. read more

I'm really glad I found this place in our cute little Main Street in Newton. I called 10 nail salons untll I found that Soho nails did dip powder. No one else in the area does it! The women were lovely and positive and did a great job! They also gave a nice warm towel shoulder massage are massage and hand massage at the end. I will be coming back. They do pedicures and waxing as well. read more

MUST READ!!!!!! I give this place two stars because in the long run my nails look great. From the beginning I had an appointment at 3:00. I got there on time and waited a half hour as people who showed up after me and didn't even have an appointment went first as I was waiting I witnessed the lady fight with a costumer and until the customer left. They then sat me down at a seat with nail debris and actual nails all over the table. The tools were everywhere and did not look clean. Very disorganized and not clean. As they were filing my nails they cut me several times until I bled...... on every finger!!!! That has never happened to me at my usual nail place. When I got home the skin below my nails were red and irritated with cuts. Once the nail person noticed all the cuts he put a liquid on them that burned so bad I teared. This experience was painful and not good. I will not be going back. It is the night of and my nails do look good hence the reason I give 2 stars instead of one. read more

Got a gel manicure and pedicure for the $49. Woman who did the pedicure cut the side of my toenail and I bleed, she did not apologize. The woman who did my gel nails filed the nails on my one hand only. I didn't notice till I got home that the one hand was clearly longer. I filed the other hand myself. Then the gel chips off within 5 days. Horrible all around and will not be going back. read more

This is the NEW Soho Nails. They have completely gutted the place and made it super sanitary. They've installed brand new massage chairs and the emphasis is on customer service and cleanliness. Great pedicure with awesome calf massage included. and the new owners, Jeannie and Ray are super nice. read more
