I've been coming here for two years and truly can't say enough good things. The entire staff is incredibly welcoming to everyone who walks through the door. It's the kind of place where you're not just a client -- they genuinely care. If someone misses an appointment, they actually check in on them. That says a lot. Rose has always done exactly what I ask for and somehow understands my hair better than I do! My hair always looks great! Last year, when I mentioned I needed a new nail tech, she introduced me to Amanda -- and I'm so grateful she did. I had been getting powder acrylics, which I'm allergic to, and Amanda transitioned me to gel nails that last even longer and are shaped perfectly. Staff is not friendly ! I had a friend that went there on the 11 th of July . The appointment was set a week ahead she had to leave from this place with dripping wet hair and go to great clips to get her done ,cause the hair dresser refuse to finish it after she started it and the hair dresser was aware of her medical problem which nothing major or contagious and she has done her hair 3 times before this time she was not willing to work with her under no circumstances ! Very said this happen to elderly that is is very difficult to get her to places to start with and was so excited to finally to get her done again because she has been in out of the hospital ! Than you great Clips for showing the caring and comfort my friend needed ! Really bad vibes and rude customer service at shear expression!!! So we prayed over it and got her hair done within the hour and took her out to eat afterwards . read more

About two weeks ago I came here on break between jobs and wanted a haircut. Michelle suggested a few coloring ideas and two hours later, on a joint effort between her and Erin my long, undyed brown hair was shortened to a much healthier shoulder length with a blonde baylage and highlight !! I think it came out beautiful, no attention was spared by these girls, they were very good about telling me what they were doing and not cutting my hair too short. First of all, when you go somewhere professional and pay professional prices, you expect the people to behave that way. Within minutes of my hair cut, the hairdresser cutting my hair started dropping the "f" bomb every few sentences. I am not a prude, but I felt that was HIGHLY disgusting to listen to. And my haircut was horrible, to say the least. I am now trying to find someone to fix it. I tried explaining that I have this big chunk, and she just kept telling me it was fine. All of my life, I have bounced around hair salons constantly displeased by one thing or another during my visit. Since my first visit at Shear Expression, I cannot even think about going anywhere else. My hairdresser Lauren is sweet, great at her job, and honest in a genuinely nice way. I feel no pressure from her in any way which is a huge difference to other salons. I have very curly, thick, dry hair and Lauren knows how to work with it. She recommends her awesome ideas and leaves it up to me. I would recommend Lauren as a hairstylist to anyone looking, she is truly great! All the ladies there seem very nice and helpful and great to their clients as well though. Great salon, reasonable prices, well-earned five stars. read more

Don't buy the group on very misleading they state that this is a no chip manicure and Pedicure when I came in I was told to chose my pedicure polish from the regular polish and choose my manicure polish from the gel . First I was told that they don't do gel polish on pedicure then 3 minutes later was told that she could charge extra for a pedicure gel polish. I will also file a complaint to Groupon for misleading representation. Never going back...The nail technician Ariel when I asked her regarding this policy went away and then came back with the same response regarding this misleading add on Groupon . Later I was informed when I asked her was she the owner had she spoken with a manager and she proceeded to respond that she spoke to a co-worker. I feel sorry for that owner because this un professional behavior has cost her. In addition the work was terrible. Don't waste your money.. very disappointed first time I have written a review. Felt deceived ..misled and wasted valuable time and money. read more
