I'm always satisfied with my service & food when I go for their lunch specials ! The price is reasonable! Atmosphere family friendly

The food was excellent and Sheena our waitress was outstanding!! So friendly and attentive. We are here from Texas for a Festival and were highly impressed! Authentic Cajun Food! read more

Ronnie's Cajun cafe is the best place to eat!! They have everything you can expect from a Cajun restaurant!!

The chicken sausage gumbo tasted like they burnt the roux. Gave it 3 stars because my husband enjoyed the crawfish étouffée, however I tasted it and it didn't smell fresh. Prices were reasonable. Service very uninterested and slow for our table. However, seemed like the service was quick at tables with established customers. read more

Never have to wait long here for anything! I brought a project to work on but didn't even have time to reach for it--the food was there so fast! Have gone for breakfast twice and enjoyed the experience both times. Lots of different choices on the menu so there's something for everyone, and it is GOOD stuff!! You can tell they have lots of regulars, it's not too loud and a perfect spot to bring family. Service is always kind, both servers we've had were dolls and the women behind the counter are all smiles. Definitely will be back before we leave Eunice. read more

The service was horrible. The pork chops were so dry and tough that the plate kept sliding all over while cutting the meat. Over priced and fed the pork chops to our dogs. On top of that they insulted my husband by not being American Veteran friendly. First and last time going to this disgusting restaurant. read more

We stopped here for lunch while in Eunice and had the chicken fried steak special, but it was just ok. That said, other folks were ordering from the regular menu and their food looked a lot better. Next time I'll do the same. read more

The New Ronnie's Cajun Cafe - Inside out cabbage roll, pea salad, green beans - Cajun/Creole Near Me - Eunice, Louisiana

Excellent staff. Friendly smiling and makes the place feel like you're at home. Plus food is good.

I wish I could only give half a star. In an effort to have a nice sit down dinner over Mardi Gras weekend, we chose this restaurant initially thinking we could be seated and eat some good seafood. We were advised there was a 30-40 minute wait for food which we happily accepted. 2 hours later, without anyone checking in on us, we had not received food or any indication the food was coming. We walked to the front, because we could not find our waitress, and asked if there was an update and if we needed to just cancel our order. We were told it would be another 10 minutes which almost turned to 20min. The staff lacked any sort of customer service experience and the manager was nowhere to be found. Our waitress argued with each of our party when paying the bill instead of accepting the constructive criticism. As we were walking out, the ONLY saving grace to this experience was a waitress named Brittany. She was not ours but mortified how the entire experience was described. She attempted to provide some reasoning and encourage this experience should not reflect how the service is on any other night. It was nice that she attempted and seemed to be the only wait staff we encountered that cared about her job. While the attempt was appreciated, I will not be bringing my family here nor recommend in the future. read more

Always love breakfast and took the kids for lunch burgers were yummy and fresh! Fries were hit and service is always cheerful and attentive

It was ok. Definitely a local hang out. Waitress' trying to figure out who to wait on. Temp of food just warm. Not friendly. Do not recommend. read more

The New Ronnie's Cajun Cafe - Chicken and sausage gumbo. - Cajun/Creole Near Me - Eunice, Louisiana

I've visited this place twice with family visiting, the food was okay, not the best one tasted, it was priced okay, The last time I was there I had a waitress literally ask for a tip, which I thought is inappropriate! Like I said it was okay the atmosphere was friendly, probably won't visit this restaurant again just because a waitress should not ask for a tip of the service is good she would get a tip without asking! read more

Good home cookin' cafe vibe. Got some lunch plates to take to the crew and everything was cooked just like you wish your wife could.

My Cajun catfish was actually quiet good, it came with a spicy sauce that had cheese and crawfish in it. However, the breakfast plate was so-so. More importantly, the waitress just seemed the opposite of friendly. There weren't that many tables occupied so she could have been much friendlier. read more

The service was great and the food was good with large portions. If we lived here we would probably become a regular and know everyone's name. read more

I was beyond excited to try this place. The rating of 4 stars gave me high hopes. Disappointed to say everything fell short. I had the étouffée baked potato. The potato was hard with a drizzle of étouffée. It was dry and tasteless. My boyfriend had the inside out cabbage roll which he said was just "ok". The boudin balls were good until I got one that was cold in the center. Mind you they had just been fried. The restaurant wasn't busy. Staff was friendly and restaurant relatively clean. Sadly we will never return. Taco Bell or Waffle House would have been a better option. read more

So Pops isn't a huge breakfast person but we had an hour to kill so I thought i'd fill up with some good energy food. He ate every last bite. Wonderful staff and our waitress was excellent and very easy on the eyes. Customer Service means everything in this day and age and this place and the staff has it in abundance. Place was so good that i came back for lunch the next day! read more

Good food, fast service, nice people. We had the gumbo, which was great. Comes with potato salad, which is tasty in the gumbo.

This is a hidden gem in the small town of Eunice, LA! My boyfriend and I found this place for lunch while on a trip. He had the fried pork chops lunch which included a salad and a dessert. I had the Healthy Choice with grilled catfish, which comes with grilled mixed vegetables and also includes the salad and dessert. While the salad was simple, the entrees were very well done, and the pork chops were absolutely amazing! These were two thick cut center cut pork loin chops with a nicely seasoned batter and fried perfectly! This was totally unexpected and definitely appreciated! The staff were south Louisiana friendly which I love! If you are in the area you must try this place. We will be returning any time we are in the area. read more

Ronnie's is a local Cajun eatery with nice plate lunches. I've eaten their lunch specials on several occasions now. These include two sides, a little salad and dessert. Everything is always fresh, homestyle, and tasty. They have a pretty extensive menu of Cajun dishes, sandwiches, and seafood as well. Worth stopping in and getting your rice and gravy on! read more

Great food, even better owner! Lots of choices and options, and great for gathering! Would recommend to anyone visiting Eunice!

I'm a cajun from Lafayette, and this place is the real deal. I enjoyed it yesterday, and was very impressed, I had the gumbo, and I can tell you, it's very authentic. If looking for a cajun joint, look no further. read more

This seems to be a locally own business. I love to support local. My mother and I went there to dine one evening and was reluctantly surprised by the poor service. Servers/waiters didn't not great us and welcome us to the establishment. The menu selection was very poor but we pressed for a good meal. We ordered seafood. Upon the the first bite we noticed the food was extremely SALTY. It was so SALTY that I had to call the attention of the waitress. I asked about the high dose of SALT in the food. No apology. No refund. We couldn't eat out food. It was like a child had pored Morton SALT everywhere!!! Paid for our food and never will return. That amount of sodium can make you sick!!! read more

I came here on a date because it's his favorite place. I can see why! I wasn't super hungry so I just ordered a cup of gumbo. Ha! I got a salad and a huge bowl of gumbo (what does their regular bowl look like if I ordered a cup) with both rice and potato salad and desert.. for less than 8 dollars. I think I've been in the FL keys too long!. It tasted amazing, I was brave and put the potato salad in the gumbo per my date... I'm not sure about the texture but the mustard really did something for the gumbo! I like any place that advertises local business' you know it's gonna be good eats. Also, they make and sell their own seasoning, you know that's authentic! You will not be disappointed if you are in the area and hungry! This is the place to stop! read more

Great meal. Husband enjoyed the riblet and I had the shrimp po'boy with onion straws. Seasonings were delicious. Good service with friendly staff. read more

We came here because of the positive Yelp reviews. Frankly we were very disappointed. The liquid of the seafood gumbo was quite thin and there was little seafood included. The crawfish etouffe was mediocre. The service was uneven. Skip it! read more

Homestyle food with mostly locals at the tables. Friendly staff. A vegetarian selection was available for me. My husband had a huge serving of crawfish etouffe and said it was very good. We were served a homemade dessert--banana split cake. Yum! Like eating at grandma's house. read more

I am speaking only for the breakfast time/food (have only been for breakfast)... But my fiance and I come and have breakfast here 3 to 4 times a month. We love everything on their breakfast menu and it's pretty much every breakfast item you can think of. The pancakes are always done well and the French toast is always really really really good. They've never messed up an order and the service is good. All of the servers are very nice and welcoming. This is my favorite place (tied with Ruby's) to eat breakfast in my hometown! I love Eunice and Ronnie's is great! read more

The food is great compared to typical diner fare. Hash browns are super crispy and delicious and the eggs are cooked how you want them. We've eaten breakfast here everyday in Eunice so far on this job. We are impressed! Nice spot to chit chat with the locals. read more

Staff is very friendly but the food was just ok. I had the stuffed shrimp and found the inside to be very tasty but the outside breading was tough and hard to bite into to. The eggplant was good and my husband said his cheeseburger was good too. read more

Really good food, wonderful waitress. Ya gotta love the Cajuns. Split a grilled shrimp po'boy with excellent potato straws.

Great find on our way to New Orleans! Food was really good, great home style cooking. Portions are huge, and some plates come with a free dessert. Waitress was also really nice and helpful. Give them a try! read more

Wife & I in town for a few days. Had a very good breakfast there. Quiet also, even with people coming & going.

The place is nothing fancy, but the food is quite good. The catfish was well done and the fries were excellent. Each plate lunch came with a small but tasty dessert. read more

A bit toward the greasy side. If you want soda, you'll pay for refills since they sell it by the can.
