Never have to wait long here for anything! I brought a project to work on but didn't even have time to reach for it--the food was there so fast! Have gone for breakfast twice and enjoyed the experience both times. Lots of different choices on the menu so there's something for everyone, and it is GOOD stuff!! You can tell they have lots of regulars, it's not too loud and a perfect spot to bring family. Service is always kind, both servers we've had were dolls and the women behind the counter are all smiles. Definitely will be back before we leave Eunice. read more

The chicken sausage gumbo tasted like they burnt the roux. Gave it 3 stars because my husband enjoyed the crawfish étouffée, however I tasted it and it didn't smell fresh. Prices were reasonable. Service very uninterested and slow for our table. However, seemed like the service was quick at tables with established customers. read more

The service was horrible. The pork chops were so dry and tough that the plate kept sliding all over while cutting the meat. Over priced and fed the pork chops to our dogs. On top of that they insulted my husband by not being American Veteran friendly. First and last time going to this disgusting restaurant. read more

I wish I could only give half a star. In an effort to have a nice sit down dinner over Mardi Gras weekend, we chose this restaurant initially thinking we could be seated and eat some good seafood. We were advised there was a 30-40 minute wait for food which we happily accepted. 2 hours later, without anyone checking in on us, we had not received food or any indication the food was coming. We walked to the front, because we could not find our waitress, and asked if there was an update and if we needed to just cancel our order. We were told it would be another 10 minutes which almost turned to 20min. The staff lacked any sort of customer service experience and the manager was nowhere to be found. Our waitress argued with each of our party when paying the bill instead of accepting the constructive criticism. As we were walking out, the ONLY saving grace to this experience was a waitress named Brittany. She was not ours but mortified how the entire experience was described. She attempted to provide some reasoning and encourage this experience should not reflect how the service is on any other night. It was nice that she attempted and seemed to be the only wait staff we encountered that cared about her job. While the attempt was appreciated, I will not be bringing my family here nor recommend in the future. read more

I was beyond excited to try this place. The rating of 4 stars gave me high hopes. Disappointed to say everything fell short. I had the étouffée baked potato. The potato was hard with a drizzle of étouffée. It was dry and tasteless. My boyfriend had the inside out cabbage roll which he said was just "ok". The boudin balls were good until I got one that was cold in the center. Mind you they had just been fried. The restaurant wasn't busy. Staff was friendly and restaurant relatively clean. Sadly we will never return. Taco Bell or Waffle House would have been a better option. read more

My Cajun catfish was actually quiet good, it came with a spicy sauce that had cheese and crawfish in it. However, the breakfast plate was so-so. This is a hidden gem in the small town of Eunice, LA! My boyfriend and I found this place for lunch while on a trip. He had the fried pork chops lunch which included a salad and a dessert. I had the Healthy Choice with grilled catfish, which comes with grilled mixed vegetables and also includes the salad and dessert. While the salad was simple, the entrees were very well done, and the pork chops were absolutely amazing! These were two thick cut center cut pork loin chops with a nicely seasoned batter and fried perfectly! This was totally unexpected and definitely appreciated! Ronnie's is a local Cajun eatery with nice plate lunches. I've eaten their lunch specials on several occasions now. These include two sides, a little salad and dessert. This seems to be a locally own business. I love to support local. My mother and I went there to dine one evening and was reluctantly surprised by the poor service. Servers/waiters didn't not great us and welcome us to the establishment. The menu selection was very poor but we pressed for a good meal. We ordered seafood. Upon the the first bite we noticed the food was extremely SALTY. It was so SALTY that I had to call the attention of the waitress. I asked about the high dose of SALT in the food. No apology. No refund. We couldn't eat out food. It was like a child had pored Morton SALT everywhere!!! Paid for our food and never will return. That amount of sodium can make you sick!!! read more

I am speaking only for the breakfast time/food (have only been for breakfast)... But my fiance and I come and have breakfast here 3 to 4 times a month. We love everything on their breakfast menu and it's pretty much every breakfast item you can think of. The pancakes are always done well and the French toast is always really really really good. They've never messed up an order and the service is good. All of the servers are very nice and welcoming. This is my favorite place (tied with Ruby's) to eat breakfast in my hometown!
