The Zeus location in Eunice is in suite besides a gas station/conscience store, of the side furthest from Laurel (US Hwy 190), so it may not be super obvious at first. The address of the place is 801-A Laurel which indicates its side suite status. On the positive side, this location has a large and easy to use drive-through on the north side of the building. This can be very handy. There is a small seating area inside, or one can use the drive through and take your meal to a small city park one block north of Zeus. This can be a good option to maintain social distancing. The menu includes familiar gyro and chicken shawarma based dishes, but there's also some falafel options. There are a variety of wraps, some which include tortillas rather than pitas. Two of these that I recommend are the Mediterranean Burrito and the Spicy Chicken. Both are deliciously different. One can make almost any wrap or sandwich a combo with feta salad, hummus, and a fountain drink to round out your meal. There are also a variety of whole-meal salads, including a Fattoosh Salad with crispy bread strips for extra crunch. The staff at Zeus is always friendly and helpful, and will be glad to help you get your garlic on. It's always good to have different ethnic food options, and Zeus conveniently offers that in Eunice.

Have gone for breakfast twice and enjoyed the experience both times. Lots of different choices on the menu so there's something for everyone, and it is GOOD stuff!! You can tell they have lots of regulars, it's not too loud and a perfect spot to bring family. Service is always kind, both servers we've had were dolls and the women behind the counter are all smiles. Definitely will be back before we leave Eunice.

We didn't have any particular place in mind for lunch knowing that there are a few great options but wanted to try a place where the locals eat so here we are at Ruby's. This town has a lot of history and Ruby's Cafe has been a big part of that history. Parking is pretty easy in this part of the historic downtown district so it was only a matter of crossing the street to get to the entrance, this small cafe was pretty busy but we were able to seat ourselves without a wait although arriving here a little after noon some of the daily plate lunch specials were already sold out- but we managed after our friendly server let us know what was still available. We ordered the pork tasso and sausage with rice and gravy with candied yams and sweet slaw and chicken fried steak with a spicy brown gravy on the side with corn and again an order of candied yams. The food here was amazing, a little like eating at momma's place, this is legit cajun fare and if you haven't had a chance to sample this unique cuisine this would be a great place to start in my opinion. The sweet tea is freshly brewed and the service is outstanding and definitely a place I'll return to when in the area or within a reasonable driving distance - this place is definitely one to bookmark...

The margs are always strong. We have always had great service there too. And man they have such wonderful decor and dias de los muertos things all over the walls that are beautiful. This is definitely my go to spot for Mexican now. It's a bit of a drive but that doesn't matter. I love the carne guisada tacos. I now get them every time. And maybe one or two others. The flavors are amazing.
