One of my VERY favorite stores in Mount Pleasant. I read a review from a fellow yelper ( Wendy, who…read moreactually did their first review) and knew I had to visit. I can honestly say that I could buy 99% of the inventory there without a second thought. I may need another house to put it all in ( just relocated here) but I have never seen quite the array of both holiday and classic decor for the home. If you want a wow factor and love to decorate ( I do not, but I love it when someone does it for me!) this is your store. I have to go regularly to buy Savannah Cheese Straws (I am from Savannah) as I am totally addicted to them. Can't wait to try some of their take out specials as well especially since I haven't come across my pots and pans in this move . There is not one thing about this store that I don't adore!

You could actually spend quite some time here. They offer so much... lunch, take away, premade meals (huge variety) gluten free options. Shopping ... it's such a lovely vibe, currently decorated for Easter, gifts, wine, coastal decor... just a gorgeous store. Next door they have a fairly large covered seating area & bar where people were having lunch. It's called The Perch. Dogs welcome. This time I didn't eat but I plan on returning with friends to have lunch & shop. Do not miss.

I went to look at their online menu and realized I'd be keeping it light for the sake of my daily food budget. I called in to order takeout and ordered the Blintz, as it was reasonably priced and fair for the portion size: two crepes filled with their beef filling and a side of sour cream priced at $7.99. When I walked up to pay, the lady rang me up for $10 and change. I thought it was weird that I was paying nearly two dollars in tax on an eight-dollar purchase. She printed out the receipt, and it showed the price was $8.99 for the Blintz. There happened to be a menu right next to the cash register, and I pointed out that it said $7.99, and that their website said the same thing. She said, "sorry ‍," and just waved me off as if it was completely irrelevant and not worth looking into. Obviously, a dollar is not the end of the world--it's more the principle of placing an order under the expectation that prices are as advertised, and that not being the case, plus them not caring about it. I paid the $10 and took the food. They forgot the sour cream, so I had to ask for that. The last disappointment was when I found out how much food I got for $10. I get that you pay a little extra for quality, but sheesh... these things are barely the size of my finger. The food was overall pretty tasty; if we're just measuring taste, I'd give it a 7.5/10. Overall, this was a very poor experience, and it might be hard for me to try again.

I got these amazing meat pies called chebureki, I'm Puerto Rican and they looked like empanadas so I ordered them. THEY WERE AMAZING!!! The only thing I've had similar is burek but this is easier to hold. I will be coming back for 5000 of these a week as well as to try some other things on the menu. Will post an update when I try some more things!

There is a trolly tour that's offered for about $18/pp which takes you around the plantation. Since we arrived late in the day, we opted not to do the trolly tour, but instead, toured the gift shop, sampled all the hot and cold teas (I think there were 12 samples), and took the 15 minute FREE factory tour. The teas? delicious! The tour? Super educational! It was great learning how tea grows, harvested, and processed. Whether you're a tea drinker or not, you will love stopping here. And if you're not in a rush, go sit in a rocker under the trees, or at one of the many picnic tables. Enjoy the fresh air and the sound of the birds. You won't be disappointed!

To get a feel for what they have to offer go into the little store that is on the pathway from the parking lot. Once you are inside, ask any questions that you may have to the person at the register or any personnel there they will happily introduce you to what they have to offer. They have bus tours that you can take to see the tea gardens if desired or just explore on foot. The bus tour will tell you about the different kinds of teas grown there and let you see it close up yourself. The store itself is a fun place to shop with unique gifts and there is also a place to try out some of the different teas that are in dispensers for tasting. The store is stocked with a variety of the teas they produce and popular ones from other major producers as well. I looked at all the different teas for sale and China cups and tea accessories. I ended up buying a tea strainer the kind I couldn't find in my local tea shop among other things. Sip and walk around to explore the store or take your tea outside and sit on the big porch overlooking the Tea Groves, It is very peaceful out there. After I went to the store, I stepped outside and walked across the street to explore the tea groves and look at the huge metal cup and straw and other artwork on the lawn. They are unique. It was a sunny day, so it was perfect for exploring on foot, although I could have probably seen the tea bushes more if I had gotten on the bus tour that they offer various times of the day, but I felt like just walking around and seeing everything. It is a pleasant way to spend a few hours of your day. Especially if you want to take in other places to site see that day. I enjoyed my time there getting outside to get some sunshine and see the tea and get in a little shopping indoors. I spent probably two hours there. It is a good way to relax in nature. I would stop in again when I come back to the area. It is something unique that would be perfect for a person that has a few hours to spend and enjoy a cup of tea.
