A real find, if you can find it. Excellent food, wine, cocktails and service on New Year's Day. Cozy atmosphere, more suited for adults.

Our server was also the owner and he is an absolutely charming man with a great sense of humour. He took very good care of us. It was almost like eating at a friend's home. I had the breakfast special 2 slices of bacon, sausage or ham, 2 eggs, 2 pieces of toast and hashed brown potatoes for $6.99. My husband had a build you own omelette. All the food was excellent, the bacon was cooked crisp as requested, hashed brown potatoes were also nice and crisp. My husband's omelette was also very good. Instead of prepackaged jams the breakfast came with home made strawberry/rhubarb jam and marmalade. They were so good that we bought a bottle of the jam to take with us. It is very good value for the money. Thank you for giving us such a great start to our day - Mel and first wife.

I tried one of the homemade jams and it was delicious. I just didn't like how the owner tried to rip us off by overcharging on the kids meal when my kids were clearly under 5. Washrooms are very small; there was no change table so this restaurant isn't exactly 100% kid friendly. Just make sure you pay attention to your bill. The owner also tried to charge a larger bill to the wrong table for the people before us. That is too bad because our server was really friendly and nice. Overcharging us left really a bad taste in my mouth. I would have given this place a 4 out of 5 stars otherwise.

My family and I are out-of-towners so we were "winging" our trip, resulting in us feeling quite lost in an unfamiliar place. Upon arrival we were greeted by this wonderful, blonde lady who not only did her job as a cashier, server, hostess..etc., she proceeded to give us all the inside info. and what to do and places to go with our 5 yr. old and 8 yr. old kids. Oh yeah, their Sunday brunch options were delicious. We're looking forward to trying their lunch menu =) #definitelycomingback

As soon as I entered into their restraint I was greeted with smiles and warmth. We were going to take it to go, but because of the warm welcome we pulled up a seat outside and enjoyed our dinner. My wife and I had the pull pork poutine. My kids had the cheese pizza, which is baked in their fire brick oven! The other two had the Chicken Korma and cheese burger. Both were good but my favorite was the poutine fries! The flavor and amount was perfect. We accompanied the fries with some local beers and wines. Everything was delicious! Remember they don't take Amex. And you have to order at the counter. They are fast in prepping . And serving. They have a great selection of local foods and gifts as well. * well we returned! This time for breakfast! The eggs Benny were awesome! Loved the bread they put it on, soft full of flavor. I only wish the poached egg was a little more runny. Breakfast poutine was very good as well. My daughter really enjoyed her avocado toast breakfast. All in all solid breakfast and a great way to start the day. Thanks again!
