Great service. Great food. Great ambiance. We loved everything we ordered. Great serving sizes. The lychee martini was also fantastic.

We were visiting the area and our host recommended this spot. The place was busy but we got a table outside. We were waited on pretty quickly. I ordered a curry dish and my friend a pasta "hot mess". Both dishes were plenty of food and looked good. They just didn't have much flavor. We both tried to salt each of our meals to make them have more flavor. Not sure what they are missing but the flavor wasn't there. I left a lot of my meal as I tired of eating it...the outdoors seating was nice.

One of my favourite places to eat. I've only ever had amazing food, and amazing service. The one downside (from a customer perspective) is they don't take reservations. It's understandable because they don't need to-that's how consistently busy/good they are! But, I come in from out of town, so as a customer it would be nice to be able to make a reservation. Beyond that, the food is worth the wait for a table! I've had the crab cakes, tacos, and mucky fries from the appy menu-all amazing. I've had the Cam burger, the Tuk Tuk, the Coup du Jour, the Happy Hanswich, and just today, the Kim Jong Yum. STOP THE PRESSES! The Kim Jong Yum is the singular BEST sandwich I've ever had. Perfect blend of savoury, sweet, salt, and the mix of textures was bang on. From the tender, flavourful beef, the salty melted cheese, the tender sautéed mushrooms, the crisp toasted yet soft baguette, to the added texture of kimchi and Korean bbq sauce. Seriously. Best. Sandwich. Ever.

Fanatastic foodie place in tiny Kimberley. Great range of foods. Something for everyone. And the food is very chef-y too. Delicious Caveman Picnic with fried chicken, riblets, and amazing local sausages. The cocktail menu was great too - loved my Dark and Stormy and the boyfriend said his Old Fashioned was great. So much goodness to try that we might squeeze in another visit before we leave. Friendly staff, great industrial vibe that is inspiring some new thoughts for our loft condo back home in Chicago. Attaching a smattering of pics. Enjoy!

Fun and eclectic menu. Fab food. We got the carbonara, vegan salad, Korean steak sandwich and inside out pasta with red sauce. The entrees did not disappoint. Staff is super nice and helpful

It's a hit every time! Come here early or be prepared to wait for at least half an hour, even on a weekday. This is the place to go if you want a good selection of beers, cocktails and food. The food menu is innovative with healthy and vegetarian options. The glory bowl is one of my favorite. It's filling and full of good ingredients. Even a half size is big enough for dinner and lunch the next day. Their spaghetti ball and meat sauce is an interesting one you won't get anywhere else. The pulled pork was juicy, but can be too greasy for some. The ambience here is trendy and fun. My bf and I love coming here with friends. Also their wide selection of craft beers is what keeps up coming back over and over again.

The 'Cod in My Spokes' is one of the best dishes that I have ever had, ever. And I've been eating food for 41 years.

Great food, took the kids here for their Sunday brunch. The portions were great and their good was very flavorful, my only gripes would be the very slow service and the indifferent attitude of the staff. I felt as thought they didn't care if we were there or not. If not for the great food this would be a deal breaker for me, we have great gastro pubs back home with friendly staff, maybe this one has no competitors and feels they don't need to try as hard, I dunno... Also my over medium eggs were hardly over easy, good place but not excellent unless you take into account that this place is far from any large city.

Really amazing place...only complaint - make it bigger! Expand your patio. Love the décor...a beautiful mix of metal, wood, and beautiful Aspen trees. Trendy without be pretentious. Our sever was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Great selection of cocktails and beers. The menu is diverse without being too spread out and everything that I saw passing our table looked amazing. And the portions are more than generous. We started with the Island Hopper board. This is a selection of cured meats, chickpea fries, various dips, olives, and veggies and bread to accompany it. Everything was tasty. I have to say my husband loved all the cured meats (except maybe the ham sausage) and I loved the chickpea fries and the beet hummus. My husband had The Happy Hanswich - Pan fried pork schnitzel, roasted tomato sauce, fresh basil, mozzarella, and arugula on a locally made bun. He enjoyed it, particularly the large slab of meat between the bun. I had the Left Coast Crab Cakes -Ocean Wise blue crab, potato and herb-seasoned, fried and served with curried mayo. This was presented lovely. a palette of colors and textures. The crab cakes were excellent - full of flavourful crab and low on fillers that you often see in these dishes. Definitely the to go spot in Kimberly and worth the 1 hour wait. We will be back!

I'm shocked, SHOCKED, that a place like this would exist in such a random and tiny town, hours from a large city. My family and I were here over the new years holiday and we ate here both nights we were in Kimberly. They have an extremely impressive list of wines, craft beer, and spirits, and all are fairly priced. They menu also has a lot of delicious options and both nights, all 4 of us were extremely satisfied with our food. The burgers and sandwiches are quite tasty, as are the mucky fries you can get them with (It's an extra $4, but they cover your fries in a chipotle gravy, bacon, and scallions-why NOT spend that extra money?). I had the pasta with brie and veggies and it was amazing. The quinoa bowl is really solid, as is the beef stew with dumplings. If I ever randomly find myself in Kimberly, BC again, I will certainly be back. Tip: There aren't a lot of good options in Kimberly, so this place gets busy-and stays busy-quite early in the evening.

Upon checking out we were told they could not do that due to liability reasons so here we are stuck for 3 hours babysitting. They suggested we leave our luggage unattended in the corner of the lobby - who in the right mind would consider that?! Fish and Chips: The dish was well cooked and had great flavours. The fish was crispy on the outside but tender on the inside. Would recommend. 2. Veggie Burger: The beets and sauce inside the burger really gave it a nice flavour. Would recommend. 3. AAA Alberta Beef Melt: The beef slices were very tender and melted in my mouth. The au jus was well seasoned and tasted great with the sandwich. Would highly recommend. 4. Cod Tacos: The fish was well cooked, but lacked some flavour and tasted bland. 5. Heid Out Burger: The BBQ sauce had a nice flavour, but the beef patty itself was a little under seasoned. 6. Char Siu Beef Wrap: The portion size was good and the enoki mushroom had a great favour. The beef however, lacked some flavour and tasted bland. 7. Spicy Pickle Sticks: Well seasoned and the pickles were still crispy. Paired well with the cider. Drink: 1. Red roof cider: This was probably one of the best cider I've tasted. It was a little on the sweet side, but I would still recommend it. 2. Flight of Beer: A great way to taste some of the restaurant's beers. Atmosphere: Lively and a good spot to relax after a long day of work. I've been to Julio's multiple times and must acknowledge that the staff are great--friendly,…read moreprofessional, and hardworking. The decor is funky, and the food is standard bar fare. However, I cannot continue supporting Julio's due to the signage I saw on February 18, 2025 that remains as of late March 2025, despite community pushback. The bathroom signs were changed to "Balls at birth" and "No balls at birth"--a clear shift from the "Balls" and "No Balls" signage I saw earlier this year. This deliberate change sullies what was once playful bowling alley humor into something that feels deeply unwelcoming to me as a customer. I am straight, with wonderful queer friends, and I can tell you that when a place doesn't welcome the people you care about, it's hard to feel truly welcome yourself. This isn't a subtle shift--it's a clear statement about who is welcome and who isn't; it's an unnecessary and divisive change. On top of that, the owner has publicly shared posts for years (and as recent as January 2025) that many would find racist and transphobic. While a few of these offensive posts have since been deleted, they were accessible to the public at the time and are a part of a larger pattern that raises serious questions about the intent behind the bathroom signs. What might have started as "just a joke" now feels far more intentional, especially considering the owner's views, which seem to align with the exclusionary message conveyed by the signs. The contrast between the staff's service and the Julio's discriminatory, un-funny signs is jarring. These hardworking employees deserve to work in a place where all customers feel comfortable spending their money.

It appears the owner doesn't care, but as a visitor, I can't feel safe here and can't recommend this restaurant. It's a disappointing blight on the wonderful town of Creston.
