My niece and I were in Cranbrook for my sister-in-law's funeral and took a friend of ours into Perry's. The ambiance was fantastic! The taco salads that we ordered did not look like any I have ever had but were the BEST I have ever had. I cannot describe the taste. It was supreme to say the least. My niece wanted pizza but they didn't have any personal pizza's but Perry went over and above in his customer service by making her a "half" pizza since we were staying in a motel. When it came ... it was top notch! I normally go to Pizza Hut but he will have my business every time I am back in town. His customer service was AAA+. They even have non-alcoholic beer! We've ordered from here several times and for the most part have been satisfied. Called tonight 8:03, closing time on website says 9:00pm. Had to call back a few times cause it rang and rang then hung up. The last time was answered and the person who answered the phone said the phone kept ringing and ringing. I haven't served a customer in like 3 hours. It's the long weekend. I said I called to place an order , no i'm not cooking any. Sounded completely hammered! I said the website says you're open till 9:00, response was. Well when you own your own business sometimes you can just close early! We live in Cranbrook, you've lost a customer for good. Another weekend in Cranbrook will not be complete without a trip to see Perry at The Sports Grill. Perry is a former boxer who fell in love with a Canadian lass after three visits and a total of 20 days together. He moved to Cranbrook to be with her and opened up his sports bar. It's adorned with boxing memorabilia and Perry will pop over to your table for a chat when he's not busy. He makes a fine pizza and is funny and engaging as hell. Perry loves to tell a story and he'll be your best friend if you're an American ... at least my date was from south of the 49th, so they made fast friends. The place isn't very large but it's cozy. The beer is cold, the pizza is cheesy, the shitters are clean and the game was on TV (after I whined and fussed to turn the damn tennis off). The Sports Grill is a diamond in the rough, a little jagged around the edges but Perry brings out its shine. Go see him. It's worth the trip. read more

A larger than life pub experience. Perry made sure to welcome our family and make us feel at home. Tons of sports memorabilia with a special love for boxing. We got the hot hot burger, the buffalo chicken burger and a pizza. Food was ready quickly and was excellent. If other reviews are any indication, it is some of the best pub food in the area. read more

A boxing themed sporta bar easily accessible in Cranbrook. Stopped in with the wife for a pint and some wings, and ended up trying more than just what we came in for. Just had to try that famous pizza. We were both pleasantly surprised--and I'm not saying that because the owner was a pro boxer. The food is prepared with attention to detail. The drinks are served cold and are quite refreshing (in size and flavours). The service is awesome, and again... not just saying that because i like my face "not rearranged"... if you catch my drift. The price is affordable and you get more than enough for the coin. The ambiance is also relaxing and comfortable. We will definitely return for more jokes from Perry himself, and more of the delicious comfort food and drinks. read more

What a treasure this was to find! We had just finished biking the rails to trails path, it was getting late, we were starving, and our infant son was ready to stop. We happened upon Perry's and I am sure glad we did! It seems they are well known for their bacon burgers, and rightly so. It was not just any burger - you really should experience this. But we also thought the pizza sounded amazing so we ordered one of each to share. It was more than the two of us could eat, but who complains when you have great leftover pizza to eat for breakfast? Very disappointed. Pizza had chicken on half the pieces. It was very bland. Over priced and unsatisfying. Ate some because I was starving by the time it arrived, but for the first time ever I didn't even take the leftover home because I wouldn't eat it anyway.
