Hand-pressed charbroiled beef patty, cheddar cheese, FPBco Soggy Otter grilled salami made by Gwinners, lettuce, tomato, pickles, homemade FPBco Soggy Otter Brown Ale BBQ sauce, roasted garlic aioli, on a brioche bun. We opted for the fries as a side. Great tasting burger!! Fries were okay, onthe limp side but hot. If I had known, I would have asked for a second quick dunk in the oil. The beer was great, they had a red that was a limited release, so no cans that we could take with us. I love reds, and this one hit all the buttons. I did try the Scottish, really good and bought a sixpack. Our friends loved their food as well. Jackson and Jennifer were outstanding, as was the rest of the staff. What a find. Even if you don't drink beer, hunt for a brewery as the food is usually great.

The interior has that vibe with the roll up doors. Our server Paul was excellent, being a fellow traveller we had plenty in common despite the 35 year age difference. The food was outstanding in our mind! One small quibble would be that the bread on the beef dip was a bit wide and made it tough to get the bread into the dip. Other than that an easy five star experience that we will be sure to try again while in town!

We shared an order of prawns with chili, ginger and garlic butter and they were very good. Bread was brought to the table before our appetizers arrived and it was lovely. I kept some of the bread for dipping into the sauce from the prawns. For entrees my husband ordered the tenderloin with huckleberry and morel mushrooms on a red wine au jus. It was very good but slightly over salted. It's a good thing that we don't automatically salt our food before tasting. I had the special of the evening - a pork steak topped with pancetta and brie and it was outstanding. The assortment of vegetables served with our meals was also very good. My husband said he liked my entrée more than his. For dessert we shared a limoncello cheesecake. It was a good ending to the meal as it was very light and refreshing. The prices were considerably high for food that wasn't anything special. The portion sizes are just normal as well. The decor looked less then appetizing as well (the celery was browning and the lettuce bed was completely wilted. The price tag that came with this plate was excessively high comparatively. I have been hearing about similar experiences from friends. This being said, I may try this place one more time in the future just in case my experience was a fluke, but if i'm not satisfied again, I will be dropping my rating to one star.
