The food was so good and the drinks. Would recommend this place. Our waitress was very nice and we were pleased with our service.

Great patio for a hot summer evening. Sangria was decent, and we shared the beet arugula salad and a margherita pizza, which was plenty of food for two hungry adults. Ingredients were fresh and tasty. Service was good. Pizzas are Neapolitan style, and you can watch the magic happen in their woodfired pizza oven behind the bar. Inside the restaurant looked inviting as well. Wouldn't mind finding myself back here again. read more

Gee wiz! Momma always said to get an attention starter and here it is. WAKE UP CANADA. This place, is not ok!!!! Even if Kanye West ( aka Ye (That's his nickname (You would know that if you were a fan))) said this was the best restaurant ever I still would not go!! I will say even though last time I came here I got Ebola Virus (I'm ok now god bless ) I can't stop eating it!! I don't care if other people say the pizza is soggy or burnt, maybe that adds a little character. And maybe I like that, that's just my wild side. Roar~ The food like a said has character, but oh!! The ambience is chef's kiss! ‍ It feels like a homeless man traded places with me and now I'm in a dark alley, high off my balls, and wishing I stayed in Highschool. Thank god I did! Now let's talk about the service... grr.... (Sorry that's my inner lion ( Roar! )) Like yellow snow their personalities are warm on the outside, but taste quite gross. I honestly have never felt so disrespected by the once pervy manager. I still feel like she's watching me sometimes. HaHa! Sorry just that inner lion instinct! Sorry if I seem a little excited! I feel like Bonnie and Clyde in a car chase the way my ex husband keeps chasing me! God boys will never learn! ‍ Mrs Lady Lion out! read more

My family and I came here on a whim and we were not at all disappointed. Everyone loved everything we ate, whether it was the kid's cheese pizza, the fettuccine, the spaghetti, the bruschetta, the Mac n Cheese, or the Chicken Bacon Sandwich--quite possibly the best sandwich I have ever had. If we visit Kimberly again, we will definitely come back. read more

Our food took over an hour to get out, the server never communicated the reason for the delay. After an hour, when we asked about our food, it came out cold. The wings were burnt and dried up. Such a shame because this place has potential. Do not recommend. read more

Needed a good dinner after rolling into Kimberly with 20 minutes till the Stanley cup final game. Found Stonefire pizza with a sign that said we love hockey so in we went. TV was big, drinks were great and food was very tasty! Looks like they have live entertainment at times as well. I would recommend this place 100%. read more

Terribly overpriced for what one gets. We ordered pizza and wings. Pizza had thick white crust and almost no toppings on it. Pizza's thickness with all the toppings was max 3 millimetres. Wings were dry and burned, so were the veggies which came with them. Wings for 8 dry pieces $20.00. read more

Great pizza and pasta options. The wait staff really hustles. An evening on their deck is truly wonderful. One of my favourite pizza spots. Highly recommend! read more

Pizza was burnt and tasted bad. It was offered to be replaced. Patio was nice, the mist on the patio was really refreshing. Service was excellent. read more

It was sunny when we went to Stonefire and we thought it would be nice to sit on the patio to have dinner. I have to stay out of the sun and our server was so kind and offered to pull a table under the overhang so that I could sit in the shade outside. It was so windy out that it was too cold to stay outside so our server was very good about moving us back inside. We decided to share a pizza and pasta for dinner. The pepperoni pizza came first and it was so good. There was plenty of pepperoni on the pizza and I loved the cheese that they use. It was thin crust pizza and oh so good. The linguine with portabella mushroom was one of the best pastas I've had for a long time. The pasta was perfectly cooked al dente and the gorgonzola white wine sauce was perfect with the mushrooms. Service and food were excellent and prices are fair for the quality of food. It was a terrific stop for dinner. Yum. read more

If you like soggy, cold, sparsely topped pizza, give it a go. Had 4 different pizzas and all the same, soggy, cold offerings. The staff were friendly but if you want a cocktail, they could have an actual designated bartender. The food beat the drinks to the table so maybe that would explain the soggy pizza. Food was on the table about 10mins after orderring. Slow down a bit and cook the pizza? Just a suggestion. Might give it another try one day, might not. read more

Perfect Pizza in the heart of the Platzl!. We were in town for my wife's birthday and ended up eating here twice we loved it so much! I am a HUGE Jalapeno person and they definitely do it right, none of those silly pickled ones, lol. Don't skip this place!! read more

Had the best pizza the place was just amazing ! They sometimes have live music which is such a treat. Would recommend! read more

We have been here a couple of times, and the meal the first time was good, but this last time was unbelievably delicious. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and the lasagna, and while it took longer than we would have liked, our server explained that they ran out of the pre-prepped lasagna but asked the cook to make one from scratch - so thanks to her for that. It turned out being worth the wait as the lasagna was amazing - probably the best restaurant lasagna we have ever had. The pizza was loaded, and I mean loaded, with pepperoni and was delicious. The only knock was that by the time we received it, the bottom crust was a tad soggy. Highly recommend if you are in the Cranbrook/Kimberley area. read more

i've only ever had the chicken bacon sandwich from here, and only twice. it's a fantastic sandwich you guys. the first time i had it, it was the best sandwich i'd ever had in my life, by far. the second time, which was today, it was a teensy bit too salty but still incredibly good. this is the sandwich that launched a thousand ships read more

This is a great new addition to Kimberley. The building is entirely new, and is quite nice. There is a bar at the pizza oven, a very nice indoor restaurant and a beautiful patio. I was there a week ago and had The Trek pizza which arrived quickly and was first rate. When I am back in Kimberley I will definitely go again..and again...and again. You owe it to yourself to try Stonefire. Do that and post your views. read more

A wonderful Pizzeria in the heart of the Platzl. I came for my 31st birthday with my brother, fiancé at the time and a good friend. We were not disappointed with the quality of the Italian style, fire cooked thin crust pizza. The flavors were forward and hit the pallet with confidence. We ordered a few different pizzas and each were as different as they were delicious. As I am from Europe myself, I really enjoyed being thrown back into a culinary tour right from the comfort of my current town. The room adornments and atmosphere were exactly what I needed, a little more on the fancy side than one comes to expect from the small town of Kimberley. The sleek modern interior, merged with the oldness of a wood fire oven made for quite an experience. The local brews brings the experience back home while the smell of the fresh baked pizza lets you believe you are travelling the streets of Mediterranean Europe. The price matches the décor, and although it was a bit on the steeper side, it was well worth it for the quality of the food and the attentiveness of the staff. We did not have time to want for anything as our waiters were on top of their game. Given the chance, I would happily return to this place, I certainly have enjoyed myself there despite taking a good fall after slipping on some ice at home getting into my truck. This restaurant was so good I forgot about the pain from the fall, which should give you a good idea of how good the experience was. read more

This is a decent place to go, particularly on a long weekend when everywhere else is full. In general, it is average at everything. Décor is fine, if vague. The stainless steel, large black and white photos, and rather cold interior does not go well with the vibe of Kimberly. It is really impersonal. What was lovely was the huge patio where we were seated. Our server was friendly but seemed frazzled, and made a few mistakes during our dinner. However, he was apologetic and the mistakes were fixed right away and I think this is a good indicator that the restaurant is managed well. The manager came out to make sure that we were fine, which was really appreciated. The food was pretty decent. We had the Woodfire Wings-Fire roasted salt and pepper wings, served with house made brown sugar hot sauce and creamy basil garlic sauce. The wings themselves were fine but perhaps needed a few more minutes in the oven and a bit more seasoning. The sauces were excellent. Especially the creamy basil garlic sauce. This tasted excellent with both the wings and the pizza. My husband had the Double Bacon -Italian plum tomato sauce, fior di latte, smoked bacon, pancetta, calabrese, white cheddar. He enjoyed this and had no issues eating the entire thing. I had the shrimp and scallop linguine - Shrimp and scallops sautéed with garlic in a beurre blanc sauce, red onion grape tomatoes and basil. This was also tasty, but the scallops were overcooked. Prices were a little high for the quality of the food as well. It wouldn't be my first choice if I was going back to Kimberly, but it wouldn't be my last. read more

The pizza was fantastic. I ordered the Isabella which was fairly decent, but my wife ordered the double bacon and that one is phenomenal! We both got dessert as well and they were tasty too. I'd definitely eat here again. read more

Tried supporting one of our favorite pizza spots today amongst new COVID openings, unfortunately the welcome we received was rude, unprofessional and uninviting. Thank you, we will not be back. read more

We visit Kimberley often and somehow we had never eaten here! It was absolutely amazing. Service was excellent, pizza was extraordinary, and the atmosphere and decor was modern and appealing. Mediocre pizza and rude service. Called for take out and had to listen to the server go back and forth with the kitchen as to whether our order was worth taking. Didn't leave a great impression, haha. Then they swapped out the pancetta for dry chicken cubes on one of our pizzas and I kinda got the sense that they wished they hadn't decided to take the order after all. read more

If the food came any slower we would be petrified. 40 minutes for one pizza and there were 6 people on the room. Nice beer menu and attentive staff but VERY slow food read more

Pizza was fine. Service was slow throughout our visit. We waited quite some time before we were acknowledged at the door, then service slow again to place our order. There were only 4 in our party. People who were seated after us and ordered after us got their food first. It did not seem overly busy--there were several empty tables, and there seemed to be adequate wait staff. We also noted that the tables and areas were not properly cleaned in my opinion. We noticed utensils and dirty napkins on the floor around a couple of tables that were ready for diners. I won't recommend this restaurant. The food was just okay and the service was disappointing. read more

Waited well over an hour for 2 pizza's for takeout. Restaurant wasn't busy at all with other customers. Others left due to lack of service

We had our company Christmas party here and the service couldn't have been better. The place was beautifully decorated and the food plentiful and delicious... bruschetta, shrimp appys, salads, pastas, pizzas and deserts. They accommodated our games, music choices, when to bring food out etc. We appreciated the openness of the restaurant; plenty of room to mingle, do games and dance! They made everything easy and fun! There was great feedback from the employees. Definitely plan to book here again next year! read more

Good chewy, but crispy crust - nice and thin. Sauce was a light tomato with just a few spices. We tried pepperoni, which was loaded with a nice thin pepperoni and the pineapple/ham/chorizo and both were very good. I think the menu must rotate because some of the items mentioned in other reviews were not available. Food service was slow, but each pizza is made to order so that is expected. Waitress was attentive. read more

This place has potential and likely suffers from typical resort town staff apathy. Waitress was uninterested at best. The pizza came and was 50% burnt. My 7 and 9 yr old boys, who were starving from the bike ride we had just finished, ate it but I cannot remember ever hearing them complain about pizza before. We have had al-forno style pizza in the past, a lot actually, and the odd charred spot is fine. This was ridiculous and I have a hard time believing anyone would ever look at it and say to themselves "yeah, I'm fine serving this". As I said, apathetic is the worst in restaurants and it's a shame because we won't be returning on this holiday. Plenty of other pizza places to check out. read more

I like thin crust pizza, however when the pizza is made like real authentic Neapolitan style pizza I just think I have die and gone to heaven. Stonefire Pizzeria does a fantastic job at making truly wonderful and fantastic tasting Neapolitan pizza. The crust is perfect, not too thin, but bang on, just the right amount of texture that you would expect from this style of pizza. Now with this perfect base, add the the toppings and you are over the moon because the combinations of great crust with a tasty amount of toppings including the authentic Italian sauce makes for a perfect overall experience. I ate the carnivore pizza, which is an all meat pizza and my wife had the shrooms which is the mushroom based pizza. Both were extremely good. The menu also has a number of other items besides pizza, however I cannot comment on those. But if you are looking for a great pizza, then make your way here. However, if your a deep crust, greasy pizza person, then find yourself a crappy North American pizza chain and fill your gob. Stonefire makes pizza the way pizza was original made in Italy and they do a pretty darn good job of it. Highly recommend you give them a try. read more

I'm not usually the one to do this but they left me no choice. The restaurant is half full, waited an 45 mins for our drinks, hour and 30 mins for our appy and 2 hours and 15 for our pizza.
