It is fairly sizeable, and has a menu that contains pub classics and a few other nice change ups. I really like their burgers, but I have been with groups that quite enjoyed their meals as well. She took care of us the rest of the evening and I must say that the service and care she provided was outstanding. She is a real gem. During course of our meal we had wine ($5.00 a glass) and beer. We shared goat cheese dip, calamari, chicken wings, prawns and bruschetta. For dessert we had a berry crisp with ice cream. All of the food was delicious, we would have a couple of dishes and then stop and order more. It was a very leisurely evening as we were not in any rush. We spent more than 2 hours our dinner and truly enjoyed our nice relaxing evening. Candice kept checking on us to see how we were doing. It was a very reasonable meal and we felt it was definitely good value for the money. I highly recommend Buckhorn and Main. It was far better than we had anticipated.

It was very good value at $14.95. The steak was perfectly cooked and the French fries that I had as my side were crispy, hot and oh so good. He shared his soup with me and it was so good - nice and creamy with a hint of ginger to give it some zip. We shared an order of salt and pepper chicken wings to start and they were nice and moist. It was a good thing that we did have reservations since we got the last table. The food was like the previous occasion. We shared salt and pepper spareribs for an appetizer. They were a bit dry and overcooked. I had the Maple hamburger and my husband had lasagna. For dessert we shared the mud pie. When we mentioned that the spareribs were a bit dry Michelle said that she made an adjustment to our bill to compensate for the spareribs even although we ate most of the dish. If you're staying at the Prestige Inn and do not want to go out or even if you're just travelling through town this is a great stop for good food, great service and reasonable prices.
