The Nail Spa - Nail Salons Near Me - Dallas, Texas

I moved here from Atlanta and all year I've been trying to find a good place that actually does a simple mani-pedi (*If you're into all the nail bells and whistles they have that there too!!), that scrubs your feet, gets down deep to remove ingrown toenails and removes dead skin and cuticles! I've gone to the same place in Atlanta for almost a decade and I'm happy to say I've found my decades place in Dallas! Thank you Dawn and my Brasil friend. I'll see you every 2-3 weeks starting NOW! Job well done! The greeter was polite and helpful and makes a nice drink too! read more

This spot is my go to every single time. Efficient, great work. So so so kind and chill. And they host a happy hour where you get a discount I think Mon-Wed 10-3p. The owner is on it and keeps this place running tight and efficient. Fav nail spots in Dallas. Also it's typically a chill and quiet vibe. So if you're looking for a spot to relax while you're getting your nails done, this is your spot. read more

This is my favorite nail salon. I've been a regular for about two years now and rightfully so, they have tons of other regulars. I always come during happy hour (Monday - Wednesday 10am - 3pm) for 20% off. They remember your face and always greet you with excellent service. Dip power on my real nails and a lavender pedicure is my usual. In my opinion, The men are better at pedicures bc they put more muscle into the massages but the women are better at manicures Bc they are more gentle with your fingers and cuticles. But they both always do an outstanding job. I always get lost in the music and free drinks they give while getting services done. I love coming here. read more

My first time visiting Nail spa, I have recently moved into the area and needed my nails done at a reasonable price. I was greeting immediately upon walking in and waited less than 10 mins on a Friday afternoon. I showed the nail tech the picture of coffin shaped natural looking acrylic set and I was pleased with I got. They price based on length, my length was $40 for a full set with a gel top coat. Two nail is slightly crooked, but not very noticeable. I will be going back to have them fixed, but at least it's convenient with decent prices. read more

Sam is the owner of this salon and he is so friendly and recognizes his repeat customers. Yes, sadly for my wallet I'm a repeat customer. Haha. But they do an exceptional job on my nails and I always get compliments on it. I get the dip nails and they last me several weeks at a time. I love having Honey do my nails. She's great. I will say I had one bad experience with one of the male techs but Sam made sure to compensate that and knows never to give me that man again. Haha. Oh and they offer complimentary drinks... who can say no to that? read more

I'll come back and ask for Sam. But just moved to area and the guy that did my nails didn't ask me what I wanted or anything was rough on the skin around my nails literally filing my skin down. Don't like that if anything my hands should look better when I leave a nail salon not worse. I asked for short nails they recommended dip so I thought ok expecting it to be thin when done since they are short but nope super thick even though I kept asking for it to be thinner... the back of my nails look horrible some steps were skipped... I just left with short thick blobs lol. not sure but I did like the nails Sam did next to me so will try with him next but definitely sticking to gel. Will update on my next visit! read more

My nails have all chipped. I wear gloves to protect them and this has never happened. I trusted her 2 coats of gel polish on my natural nails. Most places do 3 coats and it lasts at least 3 weeks without breaking. I have to go again this week to have them fixed...too soon. read more

I've come here for years and Sam is the new owner now. I think overall this nail salon is above average. The nail techs typically do a wonderful job shaping the nails and I don't get much lift after several weeks. They have a great happy hour, and the prices cannot be beat! However, I will say most recently I went for a dip manicure and pedicure and I was a bit disappointed. They do not have many color choices, which is disappointing if you have a specific color in mind. additionally, my pedicure chipped within a week. Finally, my dip manicure was well-done. However, I think they used the wrong top coat on the nails as the top layer was peeling after several days. All in all, if you want to pay less for a slightly above average mani/pedi, I would recommend this place. read more

I've been to the nail spa 3 times now, and I don't think I'm going to come back. First time was great, no complaints. The lady who did my nails did an awesome job... wish I got her name so I could request her again. The second and third times were horrible. Both men who did my nails reeked of cigarettes. Not only that but their hands were grimy and gross. They did a rushed job and painted on my cuticles. This time the man wasn't able to file it off. He globbed paint on to avoid having to do a third coat which left some looking clunky and weird. The pictures shown are after I spent 5 minutes trying to scrub the residue left from soaking my nails AFTER my manicure was done. He barely tried to clean anything off. He put no cuticle oil on my cuticles nor did he give me a hot towel and lotion at the end (and I didn't ask because his hands were gross). I work really long weeks and I just don't have the time to re-do a manicure. Going to have to live with this for the next 2-3 weeks, though I'm doubtful it will last. read more

This place is very sloppy, my apologies I honestly do not know what other word to use. I called ahead and was told one hour for mani and pedi. I do not think I chose a difficult design. Things were going somewhat well until they left me hanging... literally - I was sitting in a chair for 20 mins after they had completed my toes and the first 2 layers of dipping on my nails waiting for them to finish my top coat and design. After 20 mins I started looking around only to see that they moved on to different customers. Weird I thought - I had a flight to catch so I was in no position to be wasting time. I called someone and told them that I had been waiting and they moved onto other customers while still working on my nails. The lady said to give her some more time that she started on someone else's pedicure. The guy she started on his pedicure showed up nearly 40 mins after I had already been there. Eventually a different man came and did the top coat on my mani but then he left AGAIN!!! At this point I am beyond confused bc I can't even walk out bc my nails were not complete. A lady eventually comes and does the nail design. None of my nail shapes look the same. She pressures me to do an eyebrow wax saying that it'll take some time for the nails to cure. I reluctantly agree bc again.. heading to vacation and truly I needed my eyebrows waxed. She waxes me in 3 mins and there are still hairs!!! Time for payment - $125. Whatever. It was heading to the car that got me. My nails never finished curing! A day later - multiple chips in my nails, cracks, lumpiness, dullness from the areas that didn't cure and crusty. I will never return. See pics - Good riddance. read more

I live in the area and wanted to get a last minute pedicure. So of course, I came to Yelp and this place had good reviews.... I was just pleased with everything. From the friendliness, no long wait time, large color selection ( you have to ask them for the other colors)strong margaritas and affordability. You get quite a bit of bells and whistles, even with the least expensive pedicure option. I like "Instagram nails" and places like this dont normally do them. I have to go to more "sketchy" nail shops to really get the look and shape of nails I prefer and at a price I want to pay. But for pedicures and drinks.... this place is it! read more

Love this place so much! They have great customer service, never have a long wait time, and do great work. Their pedicures are amazing. I always leave feeling so great. When you go, try a margarita Updated 10/26/19: This used to be my favorite place but stopped going because my favorite tech left and the quality of the products were diminishing. Within one week, my gel polish would be peeling terribly which was not the case before. Even spoke to management about it to no avail. read more

I came in to get a gel manicure during happy hour and asked to have my nails rounded and trimmed evenly. I came on with my natural long nails! I started watching tv and the guy who started on my nails went and started clipping.... than asks me is this good??? He completely butchered my nails!!! Cut them all the way off?? I asked to have them rounded and evened with the others NOT cut all the way down. I do not recommend this place. My nails are cut so short that it's not even worth painting until they get longer. Look how uneven they are! read more

I used to come here every two weeks, religiously, for 3 years. That's $60 every two weeks with tip on top of it. I brought friends, I proclaimed their fantastic'ness on the Yelps and to anyone else who'd ask. The love affair is over. Nail Spa was sold to new owners about a year ago. Slowly but surely the technicians started leaving. I've heard them tell customers "oh no, she's just off today" and *eyeroll* I knew damn well she was gone. I got a very common gel color for my nails (pompei purple, c'mon everyone has that!) and they couldn't find me it's matching color for my toes. I call and make an appointment but they screwed it up constantly. It's the assumption that I have that they probably don't care- don't care about a loyal customer who's been going there religiously for years-- that really bothers me. In addition, it's slowly it got a little less clean and perfect. Scuffs on the walls went unattended. Previously there were gorgeous fresh flower arrangements that were changed often and were always perfect. Those are gone. The samples you look at to choose your color got dirtier and dirtier. Do the new owners just not care? it's taken a year of them riding the coat tails of what the previous owners created and their success... but now it's turned a corner and I won't be back. read more

This place hasn't been the same. Slowly, but surely feels like it's going downhill. It's not as clean as it once was and costumer service isn't as great. They started having a hard time matching the color of the gel nail polish to a polish for your toes. Ugh. I was a loyal costumer for many years. Not any longer. read more

Great mani and pedi. I like that I can call ahead to get an appointment. They are super.

Unfortunately, the services here have been very inconsistent. While the pedicures are just fine, the shellac manicure left me very disappointed. I shouldn't leave my nail appointment with skin on my hands that looks worse than when I walked in. I also shouldn't have to come home to file my nails myself because they were half-assed. I left 2 stars here because of my positive experiences with their pedicures, and their overall friendly, clean atmosphere. HOWEVER..... My shellac mani today was pretty bad. While the color turned out well, I am scratching my head over a couple of things: First, why did they get rid of their "happy hour" deal? Last time I came, I was told that the manicure would be cheaper on weekdays-- maybe I misunderstood? Second, when I politely asked my nail lady to fix a rough edge on a nail, she instead laid another layer of polish on top of it... Okkkaayyy?? Now I have a rough edge PLUS a super thick nail that will probably chip. Third, the polish on my pinky nail looks lopsided and rushed. Lastly, I am uploading photos so that you can see the skin that I was left with-- dry, dry, DRY! For $30 I would expect some oil, lotion, or even a massage! Instead, I got none of the above. Now that I know all this, I will take my money down the street for a mani-- where I can get 15% off on weekdays, an arm massage, paraffin wax, and a decent shellac manicure ALLLLL included in the $30 price. I highly suggest that you do the same. read more

Come here when you need to pamper yourself a little bit and you don't wanna spend a lot of money! I've really enjoyed my experiences here and will definitely come back, for several reasons. 1) they have one of the most affordable spa mani/pedi combos I've seen: $40...OR $35 if you come before 3 pm Monday-Thursday. 2) you really feel pampered for what you pay for. my mani/pedi experiences have always lasted well over an hour and the employees are quite diligent with all the buffing, scrubbing, massaging, and polishing during this time. Also, free wine/beer/beverage service while sitting in a massage chair in a CLEAN tranquil environment for an hour can really do the trick when you're having a tough week. 3) they have a great selection of polishes from Essie and OPI and the equipment they use all look clean and are one-time uses. One drawback is that I've noticed the polish on my toes tend to dull in a little over a week and i don't really punish my feet on a daily basis. The shiny topcoat wears off and you're left with a dull color. read more
