I have been fan for awhile, but have decided to go somewhere else. I paid about $80 for this set and it wasn't even what I asked for. This was even the second option because the nail tech said they couldn't really do the first. She got excited about this and was excited. This was my first time getting my nails done in a long time. Towards the end I realized she didn't even do the color portion, just the pearl top over the overlay. This isn't the first time they've not done what I requested. I always enjoy my pedicures, but typically feel like my nails aren't what I asked for or my nails are left ruined. Overall, I like this place and it's always busy, but I think I'm gonna find somewhere different.

This was one of the worst nail salons I have ever been to for a gel manicure and pedicure. I am from out of town and used YELP and it came up #1 and I have no idea how... unless locals never get out and have their nails done These pictures are 2 days & 4 days after having my nails done here. I also had bubbles on my fingers & toes and I could see she tried to drill them down but it still didn't work. I also asked for a sparkle color and they gave me the plain color and when I asked she said this was better..... I don't know if she didn't understand the ask but still; the quality was one of the worst ever. Do not go here unless you only need your nails to last a weekend

Came in at peak busy time before a major holiday, Taylor was so sweet and did an awesome job on my nails! They're perfect shape and thickness, look so delicate, and I'm so thankful I had her as my tech because she was so thorough to make them look good. Also - they do speak in another language but half the time are talking about each other's shirts and the other half they'll include you in the conversation! I think the people who leave bad reviews based on them speaking their native language are a little out of touch. They are very sweet, no maliciousness or cattiness at all. Super kind hearted people and I'm usually so picky but my nails are flawless - I'll go here from now on!

I'm leaving The Nail Lounge and it was wonderful! Helen did my pedicure and Nikki did my dip nails. These women were so sweet and I would recommend both of them!! It was clean and a relaxing environment. The legs/feet massage and hand massages I received were phenomenal most places I've been they just rub the lotion on and call it a massage these ladies gave me REAL massages! I found my new place!!

This was my second time here. The atmosphere is very nice. Two walls of pedicure chairs with manicure tables in the middle. There is an extensive selection of nail polish to choose from. Both visits I was immediately asked if I wanted something to drink as I sat down, which is much appreciated in the summer. For this visit, I had a basic pedicure. The lady who was working on my feet did an excellent job of massaging and scrubbing my legs and feet. I felt very relaxed and comfortable, and the chairs are comfy with a good massager. There is also music playing, comparable to massage music (easy listening or yoga style). The main concern I have is when I inspected my toes later, I noticed several nails were rough on the tips. In other words, the shaping was not smooth. I had to smooth it out once I got home. I also have one toenail that was uneven, which is very noticeable with silver polish. However, I'm sure she was apprehensive on cutting it since it was split on one side. Overall, I am happy with the service I received. The price is great, the atmosphere is great, the employees are friendly without being overwhelmingly chatty, and the selection of colors is decent. I'm sure the smoothness of my nails is a one off, and it will be perfect next time.

Great walk in experience. Chose The Nail Lounge at random, it was in the area and had a good Yelp rating. As soon as I got inside I was kindly asked to wash my hands, i liked that. Afterward I signed in and let them know I just needed a polish change. I was seated immediately, no one pushed for me to get additional services or gel or powder. Kate asked me throughout the process if I liked the polish and her work, not excessively, more so in a genuine "I want to make sure you are still doing well and happy with the color and service" type of way. The design of the lounge is definitely dated a bit but looks like the typical normal nail salon, not the modern cutesy ones, but ya know... I would rather go to a "regular" looking nail salon that does well than a cutesy one with below average service. They were professional, clean, timely, and the work was great. Will definitely return!

Well another thing I need to find when moving as a military spouse, is a nail salon. There are so many options out there. Today I decided to try The Nail Lounge. I did research first by asking friends and taking my search to Yelp. I was reading and hear good things. I read that the keener is a fellow military spouse and they offer a military discount. So that was a big plus for me. I love to support other spouses. Being a military spouse I know how hard it is to get up and leave from one base and your job there to just start all over at another base. The moment I walked in, it was just peaceful. I must have picked a good time. Noon on a Tuesday when everyone is at work and school is in session. I was greeted quickly and was offered a drink and they sat me in a chair to begin my gel manicure with Michelle. While sitting there I could tell she was paying close attention to detail. I really appreciate that!! I never want to feel rushed and have product missing on a nail or the product run onto my skin only having to pick it off later. The hand massage was great as well. Not to short and pressure was just great. I decided to get a pedicure and eyebrow wax as well since the manicure was going great. The chairs I sat in for the manicure were so comfortable. They were not those chair on wheels which slip out and are so uncomfortable. Other salons have that. My pedi was so relaxing. I honestly could have fallen asleep with how relaxed I was. Michelle did my pedicure which I liked. I was hoping to stay with the same nail technician since she took good care of me with my manicure. The massage was great. I chose the $40, Lounge Pedicure. I will most likely chose the service again. I wore sneakers to the nail salon since I did not think about getting a pedicure. They were prepared and had the white plastics bags, like at the grocery store. They placed my shoes in there so I did not have to carry my shoes, purse and pay. It was a nice thing. I also got an eyebrow wax. I figured you know what, I am already here and everything else went well. Michelle did my brows and took care of me so much through everything. It was Christmas season and they were giving out gifts to what seems like everyone in the salon that day. What a special treat! At this point you could tell they appreciate their customers and try to go the extra mi In the end I will definitely be back. They have a rewards program and offers a military discount. Thank you so much Nail Lounge... the search is over.

Amazing experience! I got a long tapered coffin style gold and pink ombré and a regular pedicure and I am in love! The place was clean, COVID 19 preparations are great with shield to your sides and between you and the technicians. They make you wash and scrub your hands. Very good job with spacing everyone out and making it feel comfortable. Since I came on a Saturday there was more people there but I had their first appointment. Doesn't look like you need one but would recommend you do get one so they can plan accordingly. I got acrylics and a pedicure. I came in with a picture and RAY the nail tech did his mf thing. I loved how it came out! He was even adjusted and redid it if it didn't come out how I wanted! He asked each step of the way if I was okay with it before moving on. The small talk was nice too! He's very friendly and funny! Would definitely recommend Ray to anyone. I'm from NY and didn't know what to expect but proud to say I am beyond pleased. Had me feeling like a bad bitch

UPDATE: Rachel reached out to me and made sure that my experience was better than the first time I went. I don't like leaving bad reviews especially for smaller businesses so I was happy to go back and give it a second try. She fixed my nails and was very kind through the process. I've had a rough time finding an exquisite nail place since moving back to Norman but when I came across The Nail Lounge all my worries were swept away! Since coming in I've yet to go to another nail salon because I'm just so taken with how well of a job they do here and the amazing atmosphere they've created! The staff is just delightful and incredibly patient when it comes to explaining what you're wanting to get done. I've yet to have a problem with the nails I've gotten and will be coming back as long as I'm still in the area! I've never had people who shape my nails in such a way of perfection. And they're so lighthearted! I always enjoy coming in!

I gave this place a shot because of how great the reviews are. The only reason I didn't give them a 1 star is because the people were very friendly. But, man who did my acrylic nails made them uneven shaped and different lengths. One of my nails broke not even 24 hours after I got them done. He had to ask the nail artist next to him for help several times just to understand what an almond shaped nail was. I think you can get your nails done well, if you know who to ask for, but don't trust them to set you up with someone who actually knows what they're doing. read more

I was on vacation and decided to get a pedicure at The Nail Lounge. I'm not a local, so of course I went to Yelp! The reviews indicated how clean the salon was and that disposable items were used for each new customer, so that was a huge draw. They were ABSOLUTELY right. I was immediately greeted and asked what service I would like. The pricing is very competitive with other pedicures in my home town of Kansas City. I picked out a color and sat down. Waiting for no more than two minutes in the guest area, I was taken to a chair. My technician was Tina and she was great. She was very thorough with great attention to detail. It was a very enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend to locals as well as visitors! read more

I LOVE LOVE this nail salon! BUT... i highly recommend finding a nail tech there that you like and sticking with them! I usually use Kate, Rachel or Ray. Today I just decided to walk in and not schedule an appointment bad idea. My nails turned out great but one of the girls i got was so rough with my nails. Several times i had to jerk my hand away because what she was doing hurt so bad. But i will still give this place five stars they are al so nice! Just find someone you like! read more

I've followed the owner to this salon. I've also had many of her techs work on me as well! All are very skilled, polite, and happy to help you! I honestly hated having anyone else but her, Rachel, work on me at the previous salon she was at. Now that she's in charge I know I can trust and feel comfortable with anyone working for her because I trust her so much and know she will hire the best! The salon is super clean and there are so many color choices it's overwhelming (which is a good thing)! If what you're looking for is a good firm hand when getting a pedicure, Tina gives the best massages!!! read more

They will accept new customers all the way up to closing hours and stay after to finish their clients, never making them feel rushed! The services are so fairly priced as well! Edited due to confusion over my previous review citing a grand opening special.............. Amazing new salon! I am so happy they are so close to where I live (Moore area). They are located in a new shopping center just behind hideaway pizza. The interior of the salon is comfortable, nice decor, cute area for girls to get a pedi, and they are very clean. They place a plastic bag in the tub where you soak your feet for pedicures. They change out after every pedicure. I like that practice alot. Not many salons do this and they should. They offer water, soda, hot tea, and mimosas for your comfort. The nail techs are knowledgeable about current trends (coffin shape, stiletto, ombre, marble etc...) They have lots of colors, shellac and powder, as well as regular polish colors. Look no further for a salon that will leave your nails looking fab! Ask for rachel. :) read more

My two daughters and I went to The Nail Lounge on a Wednesday to get manicures and pedicures. I paid almost $200 for this service which was not an issue but they did not even bother to get all the dead skin off my feet nor did they remove it all from my fingers or my daughters. They didn't even get one of my daughters nails clean. The worst service I have ever had. The lady just kept telling me I had a lot of dead skin. I told her I know that's why I came in as I had been taking care of my dying grandmother for the past 2 months, I did not have time to care for myself. She was disgusted by this. I will never return to this place as they made me feel as if I should have been perfectly groomed before showing up. I had my grandmothers funeral that Saturday and the polish was already bubbled and flaking off. Very rude people and make you feel like a horrible person for having them do what they are paid to do. Hope you have a talk with your employees on respect because they have none. Won't waste my money here ever again. read more

Tera took such fantastic care of me! I made an appointment for the day before Easter, hoping that someone would have time to at least take care of my toes so I could wear sandals and no one would think I lived underground all winter. I arrived at 9:30 and was immediately seated and Tera got to work on my toes. She was quick but meticulous, which is hard to find. My gel nails also look fantastic and she got them nice and short for me, which most places won't do. I will definitely be back. The salon is very clean and they have tons of polish colors to choose from. My new nail place for sure! read more

Let me start by first saying, friendly staff. Had my nails dipped for the first time and the technician did a okay job, a little too thick/heavy for me. As far as the dip, as I sat there I became aware/concerned that I was "dipping" my nails in a vat of powder that I can assume MANY others did too before me. Gross! My hands weren't disinfected prior to the application and she didn't even ask me to wash my hands before getting started, so likely don't ensure this for others either. Not sure this technique is for me, seems risky. read more

every time I go, all the staff is very sweet and they take great care of me. it's the only salon I've been to since moving to the area bc I haven't had a reason to look for another! the parking lot is shared with other businesses so it's a little hard to find parking sometimes, so I just recommend going before dinner time to try to avoid the fight for parking! read more

I'm not going to lie... I've never written a poor review but I paid $20 for a manicure that was fast, aggressive and the results showed. Very nice environment but I will not be going back because I find it ridiculous that my nails are chipped and there is paint all over my fingers. read more

I was in town for a funeral and didn't have time to get my nails done before I left home. Stopped in here because it was close by. The shop was much busier (and a bit more chaotic) than the place I go at home, but everyone was friendly, the price was right, and 3 1/2 weeks later, my nails still look great!! read more

I love this place. It's taken me an entire year since moving to Oklahoma to find the right nail tech. Rachel is my girl! Everyone here is so nice, the salon itself is gorgeous and I always feel welcome, not like another person to rush through like many other places. I get a dip manicure and have had a lot of trouble finding someone who does it right. Rachel nailed the shape, design and I had no "hump" on my nails which has been my most common issue. I finally got my money's worth and can't wait to continue having Rachel do my nails! I would also like to add that even though Rachel was almost booked solid, she was able to squeeze me in last minute and I never felt rushed. I'm very happy! Thank you, Rachel! read more

Had a pedicure on a Tuesday afternoon. When we went in the place was full, which was surprising for a Tuesday afternoon. But we were seated within 5 minutes after our arrival & the 2 young ladies that took care of us did a good job, especially the massage of our feet & calves. This was our first visit here. There are a lot of choices for nail salons in this area, but this place is very clean & would definitely recommend it! read more

The Nail Lounge is amazing. The entire staff are knowledgeable, talented, and patient. They offer a variety of services, the massage chairs are very comfortable, and the environment is very relaxing. My favorite services are a shellac pedi, shellac mani, and getting my eyebrows waxed by Rachel. A+ service! read more

i needed a nail place to go in moore & chose this location based on reviews. i can't remember the name of the man that did my nails, but he did an excellent job! they were able to get me right in. i'm giving four stars bc it did take a little longer than expected, but only because he had to go back & fix a nail. i've gotten so many compliments on my nails. i love them & i will be back! read more

I was heading home upset from a previous experience ehen i happened to see a sign near tge road for The Nail Lounge. I went in expecting a wait, but was seated immediately. I was handed a basket with all of the options for the product I asked for. After a few minutes, Nikki sat down and got to work. I got 3 different colors of dip powder nails and asked for my nails to be cut down some and shaped slightly different than they were. She made quick work of it and I love my nails. My only complaint is they seem a little thick, but as this is my first time, this may just be the norm. I was told that matte finish is $5 more, which I think is dumb but oh well. As I said, I love my nails and I'll definitely go back. read more

Went to this place since our other spa was booked all day. The place was clean! I haven't found a good place since moving here but I would go back if I wanted a fast pace pedicure. When I go for a pedicure, I am going to relax not to get in and get out. That place did an amazing job on my pedicure but it's not a place to go if you want to relax. They get you in fast and out. read more

At The Nail Lounge, we put great emphasis on sanitation to ensure our customers LOOK WELL, FEEL WELL, and most importantly, BE WELL: *Pedicure spa liners are used and disposed after each client *Use of disposal files and nail buffers *Metal tools are disinfected with autoclave and hospital-grade disinfectant.

Rachel loves her work and has been in the industry for over 15 years. She came to Oklahoma as a military spouse, for her husband, Kyle, was serving in the military. She loves Oklahoma so much that after Kyle's military commitment expired, she convinced him to settle here and started The Nail Lounge.

I've been coming to this salon for about two years, and unfortunately my recent experiences have been very inconsistent. At first, I only came in for basic services, which were fine. But as I started requesting more detailed designs, it's been difficult to find someone who can execute them properly. I've had to come back to fix a fill that wasn't done right, and another time the design didn't turn out as requested. My most recent visit was especially disappointing. The nail tech Helen was very rough with my hands, even after I explained that I have arthritis. Instead of adjusting, she kept telling me to "loosen up," while continuing to squeeze and handle my hands in a way that was uncomfortable and painful. The quality of the nails themselves was okay, but the experience and attitude were not. I've heard great things about Nikki, so I've decided to book with her going forward and give the salon one more chance. However, after multiple issues over time, I did seriously consider not returning. I hope the salon can improve consistency and be more mindful of clients' comfort, especially when health concerns are mentioned. read more

This should be everyone's new nail salon. They are absolutely amazing. They give you exactly what you ask for and they do not try to push you into something you do not want to do. They offer you anything from water to mimosas. I asked for Rachel and that was the best choice ever! Rachel is amazing and takes the perfect amount of time to do you nails and she will always make sure it is perfect. They are all so friendly and kind. Making sure that you are taken care of and happy. They love to carry on conversation with their customers and make sure everyone is feeling welcome and comfortable. I will never go anywhere else to get my nails done! I loved coming in and feeling comfortable with the service I was getting. Typically when I go into nail salons I am nervous because I do not really know what I will be walking out with, but at The Nail Lounge, I felt confident and comfortable with my service. If you're in town for a day or needing your next regular spot this salon is for you! I've been calling this place home for almost nine years. Rachel the owner takes such sweet care of her staff and everyone that walks through the door making for a very peaceful atmosphere. This salon doesn't have that strong chemical smell others tend to have and everyone is so polite. Mimi treats my daughter amazing, she's so gentle with her tiny fingers, and we absolutely love the kids pedicure chairs! The adult chairs are luxurious and so comfy, I bring my mom often and now she has all her friends coming.
