I went in with my daughter and her friend to get our nails done. They got acrylics and their experience was fine. I got a basic gel manicure and I walked out of there bleeding from multiple cuts around the cuticle area. My cuticles are sore and inflamed now. I've been having to put antibiotic ointment on them to try and avoid an infection. The polish was also applied too thick around the cuticle area so the nail looks lumpy. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the girl who did my nails was sweet and super apologetic for making me bleed. read more

I went this morning to just get dip powder/SNS removed. The place I usually go to is in Cleveland and I just didn't feel like making the drive. Most places I've gone scrap it off a little with their tool and then soak the nails in acetone for like 10-15 minutes. My nails were soaked for maybe 5 minutes. The guy was picking at my nails with his and did not remove it all. Most places usually add a clear coat of polish to help the nails strengthen again and that was not done. I'm not one to post a bad review but it was frustrating. Should have gone with my gut and gone to my place in Cleveland. read more

I had a pedicure with Tracy today and she was great! Very attentive to detail and a great massage.

I used to be all for this place. I recommended it to everyone who asked. But not anymore. I went in yesterday for a mani pedi & was the very first one in the building. No one else came in for about 30-45 min after me. They were very rushed and didn't put enough polish on my toes or use hot towels (even though I paid for hot towels) they were ice cold & there are bubbles and pieces of fuz in my gel mani, on top of not enough polish. To top it off, they almost made me bleed during the mani because they were so focused on who was coming in and out of the front door. Highly disappointed. I come here for the quality of the shop and haven't been able to find a good nail tech where I don't have to over explain what I like since my old tech left I haven't been able to find that here. Been here a few times since moving to Chattanooga! Very nice and clean place. My lady is Tracy - she is great! My nails have came out perfectly every time. She takes her time, and is very nice. She does my nails exactly how I like them each time. The lack of one star is from getting a pedicure here (with Tom). He was very nice, but my toe polish started chipping after a few days. Went here while I was on a trip on 5/14/19 Let me start by saying that maybe if it wasn't for the person that did my manicure i would have been a lot happier. It's literally been 1 week and my a nail already snapped off. Thi or however you spell her name Gave me the worst service she was rude, didn't talk to me at all and when I requested she soak off my acrylic from my pinkie that needed to get fixed, AFTER she had started to take a nail tip to "POP" it off (which btw SOAKING IS THE PROPER NAIL PROCEDURE!) she gave me a rude remark saying but "soaking it that will take longer" but went ahead and did it all ruff anyways and I noticed the she did lift layers from my natural nail because of what she had started to do and the entire time I was there no one else was waiting, nor had walked in with it being a new establishment they haven't built up a clientele to be "busy" yet. But she didn't wanna take her time and instead caused me and my nail beds pain and rushed my service, I had to go back and refile them myself, she didn't clean under my nails and left clumps of acrylic and they were uneven. For what they charge and the beautiful upscale atmosphere I expected soo much more even though the pedicure I got was amazing and I wish I got the mans name cause he did fabulous I most likely won't be back nor did I recommend. But I do recommend the nail techs learn the proper procedure for nail services. read more

Walked in, was seated with feet in the water before I saw a price menu. I wanted a basic pedicure which was not an option. The least expensive choice was $45 with frills I did not want. They were not willing to do a basic so I took my feet out of the water and left. read more

It's a nice looking salon. Lady up front will greet you and talk to you about what you want and she tells the nail person. My lady was very nice but didn't listen to a thing the greeter or I told her. She didn't soak my nails off just ripped them and my natural nail off. 5 days later 2 nails already popped off. My husband and I have been going to the nail bar for 3 years and we where excited about this place being open closer to our home seeing that they are owned by the same ppl as the nail bar. The first time we came here we where so pleased as always. HOWEVER THIS LAST TIME WAS STRAIGHT TRASH. I NEVER WONT JENNY P. EVERY AGAIN! The nail tech (who I was informed was the manager) refused to do my nails after I asked him to wash his hands because he was literally rubbing his snot on his hands and arm. He used hand sanitizer and asked if it would be ok? I simply said I'd prefer if you washed them, he walked off and said "Oh my God, she wants me to wash my hands!" Fancy looks, they do a nice job, but for the prices on somethings it's a little overpriced. I did enjoy my pedicure with the man name Tom I think. The lady who did my nails was nice also. I showed her a design and said it would $20 extra. When she finished I looked at the design and wasn't impressed for $20 . I scheduled a gel manicure and toe polish. Tyler helped me and it was terrible. He started with the toe polish and he only put two coats of color and not a top coat before he took me to do my nails. At the time, I thought he might come back with a top coat later. He did my nails and I wasn't pleased at all. They were bumpy and the color really needed a third coat. He then filed my nails after completing the gel color which has totally taken off the color on the end of the nails and in four days, the color has completely come off of one nail and chipped on several others. I'm so disappointed. He didn't even give me a manicure and only did the color with a little filing. I thought a manicure consisted of cuticle care and massage. He poured cuticle oil on me and told me to wash them off and then asked me if I wanted lotion. I said yes and he pointed to the bottle and told me to get some myself. I was flabbergasted. When I went to check out, I asked the sweet girl at the desk if I should have gotten a top coat and she said yes and when I told her he didn't give me one, he walked over and said yes I did. He did not give me a top coat, but as a customer, I'm not going to argue with a young boy. I then asked her if a manicure had a massage and the items I first received with Vee and she said yes and when I told her he didn't do that, she did offer a 10% discount. The sweet counter girl and I were both so uncomfortable and embarrassed that I quickly paid, even with a small tip, and left. For over $45, my toe polish is awful and looks like they were painted two weeks ago, not four days and my nails are awful too. I'm so disappointed as I was looking forward to enjoying this new nail salon. I appreciate the 10% discount she offered me, but I don't feel like that was enough for polish that lasted four days (both gel on hands and regular on toes) and looked poor from the beginning. Very disappointed. I also reached out to the place via email and they never responded so they had two opportunities to know how terrible it was and they didn't care either time. read more

Shrugged it off because my nails looked great and a week later a nail popped off like an acrylic would after several weeks. Next day another nail popped off. Disappointing quality considering the price. This is my second time coming here, the first was great. I returned despite high prices for the area. The woman who worked on me clearly didn't want to be there. We've all had days like that, no big deal. But my toenails were cut too short, causing cuticle/skin to show under the tip of the nail, looking like the ends were chipped. They tried to repaint it, but it's skin. I've been getting pedicures for 20 years, no one has done this before. For a $45 *basic* pedicure, I expect it to look better than I could do at home. Sadly that's not what I got. read more

WARNING! Please stay away from this place! They are a rip-off and you know that they are not paying taxes in the United States. Enraged is an understatement as far as my experience with this place. I am from Chattanooga and visit my family from time to time. I normally go to Sunny Nails on Brainerd Road but felt like venturing out on that beautiful Saturday since I decided to stay at the Embassy for an event. I got my acrylic taken off and provided my own personal Tammy Taylor powder for an overlay on my nails. I travel quite a bit due to my profession and normally pay $25 to $35 ($40 tops) when getting the acrylic removed in addition to the overlay. I get ready to pay and my bill is $63 and I was furious. The lady paying beside me got a full set, ombré, AND a design for a total of $67. I will stick with what I know from now on and stay away from these overpriced nail salons near Hamilton Place. I went with my husband to Chattanooga for his work trip this past weekend. While he was working, I thought I would treat myself and get my nails done. I only waited about 5 minutes before I was seated, which was great. The total time it took to get a mani/pedi was an hour and a half. I am very OCD when it comes to my nails so I would rather them be done the right way than to rush; however, an hour and a half was way too long..luckily, I had plenty of time that day. During this hour and a half, 2 different people came in to get their chipped nails fixed. My nail lady assured me that she takes her time so her costumers didn't have to come back with chipped nails.. I believed her and just enjoyed my relaxation. When it was time to pay, my total came to be $85 for a mani/pedi. This did not even include a tip. I have never paid so much to get my nails done before, but there wasn't much I could do at that point (there were no prices hanging up in the salon). On top of spending close to $100 for my nails, my toe nail chipped less than 24 hrs later.. if I was still in town, I would have immediately gone up there to get it fixed. Unfortunately, we were already back home in Atlanta. I would never get my nails done here again. It's absolutely beautiful inside and it's clean, but not worth the money or time when your nails are going to chip within 24hrs. read more
