Place is really close to campus and an easy walk- Tried their lunch boxes and they are great for money. Had their Chicken Tikka lunch box that came with one protein gravy- one lentils-rice-naan and a apetizer. All that for very decent price and food was good too. This was one of the best lentils i have ever tried. Portions very quite decent too. Will defo return for lunch specials. They have many options in their lunch boxes varying from protein to vegetarian.

We came to dine outdoors here and loved that the tent was so romantic despite the state of the world. They had music going, twinkle lights and Nassau street in the summer is always a nice ambiance to just enjoy a meal. As for the food, we were impressed with how fast the service was considering they had to run in and out of the kitchen upstairs and bring it out. We started with a delicious Samosas appetizer and I could've honestly had another plate of those and called it a night. But we decided to order a Mint special Kebab Platter as well. It came with a ton of chicken and some fancy potatoes too. Although the seasoning on the chicken was great (there were about 3 different types)! I definetely could've used some sauce with it because it was a bit dry. Not inedible dry...I guess I was used to other very saucey Indian dishes and wanted something to pair with a charred meat. Overall I would return, the food was good and the service was fast.

conveniently located near princeton university! This place is a little older looking inside but overall is nicely decorated and a great place to eat. my friends and i stopped by around 3pm on saturday and it was not crowded at all. the thali is a great deal at only $22.9 for all those little dishes! it had everything i love to get when i order indian food. i would definitely come back and get the same thing! my friend got the biryani which i tried. it was served so nicely in the clay pot with naan over the top! the biryani was not bad, some parts did not have a lot of flavor but my friend noted it may have helped if he mixed the entire bowl up before eating. i got another thali to go for another friend and the portions were even larger in the to go! overall great place with good food and kind staff. i will be back!

    Mughlai Chicken Korma- absolutely delicious!

Came here around 6:30PM tonight (Saturday) and enjoyed a nice dinner. Would recommend reservation, but also looks like there is outside dining. Our absolute fave was the Chicken Korma. My mango lassi was good too and not too thick like at other places. We also got the mint special (like a mixed grill) and lobster bisque. Lobster bisque was a little too salty for us, but we try to keep to low sodium so might be normal for other people. My only complaint is that it was very warm inside and just one fan circulating. I tend to run cold and was sweating. That was a bit uncomfortable. Overall, we really enjoyed the food and staff was super friendly!

The seafood is extremely fresh, the broths are rich and flavorful, and the selection of small dishes is huge. There are tons of options for sides, appetizers, and even BBQ items before the meal. The dessert selection is also impressive. One thing I hope they can improve is the ice jelly (冰粉). The current red version tastes a bit like Jell-O, which feels a little off compared to authentic Chongqing ice jelly -- would love to see a more traditional texture and flavor in the future. My personal must-haves here are the lobster, crayfish, beef tripe, and pork aorta (黄喉) -- always fresh, always delicious. Overall, amazing quality, super fresh seafood, and great variety. No wonder we keep coming back.

There is such a large selection of seafood to choose from, for the price of $63.99 per person, it is not bad especially considering how much seafood and meat costs. Ordering is easy as each table has their own tablet to place orders but my only gripe was that staff need to enter a code before you can submit to the kitchen. Drinks are self service and you can get as many as you like, from sodas, water, soy milk, green tea. There is also a sauce bar that is kept very clean. Decor is amazing as staff informed me that the paintings on the walls were hand painted by an artist from China. For every 2 people, you get an option of a lobster or another type of seafood. Seafood options range from mussels to class and even razor clams. Plenty of meat and veggie options as well. Although this is supposed to be a hotpot and bbq restaurant, hotpot is the only thing available as the restaurant does not have the proper ventilation installed for the bbq grills, although the grills are right next to the hotpot. That's unfortunate as I was looking forward to grilling some of the seafood. For dessert, they had durian which I tried for the first time. It was super creamy and sweet! I've been missing out this whole time! Overall, our entire experience was great and I would definitely return.

The Tap Room features selections from an eclectic and rotating menu. On this day, the menu included beef stroganoff and Portuguese shellfish. I chose crab cakes with orzo, accompanied by an a la carte make-your-own salad. It was delicious, better than anything else prepared by a college kitchen that I've had. The Tap Room has a full salad bar and a large array of ready-to-go sandwiches. The food, which seems to be subsidized by the university, is the only bargain in Princeton. My lunch came to eight bucks and change. The diners on a Friday afternoon were professors, staff members and grad students. I didn't see any undergraduates. This, along with a floor-to-ceiling view of Prospect House's gorgeous garden, made for an un-cafeteria-like atmosphere. If I ever go back to Princeton during the week I would return to the Tap Room in a heartbeat. The Tap Room's only downside is its small size. I hope this review doesn't spell the end of open tables. The Tap Room is open weekdays for lunch. The public is welcome. It takes credit cards only, not cash.

However, when we arrived, nobody was at the front counter, so we walked to the inside counter to ask to be seated. The front desk guy clearly just came in for his shift since he was hurrying on his cell phone, carrying bags and had his jacket on. He came over looking very busy and disheveled, and when my mom politely asked if we should wait here to be seated, he rudely responded, "Well if there's no one at that counter then you come to this counter if you see the sign." Meanwhile... there was no sign saying that when we left. My mom was just asking a simple question, so the attitude was unnecessary. Just because you're stressed or running late doesn't mean you take it out on customers. F him for being rude to my nice mom and never coming to this place again. As for the food, it was pretty mediocre overall, that experience left a bad taste. The sushi selection had a good variety, and the desserts were honestly the best part. They have a chocolate fondue station plus vanilla, matcha, and swirl soft serve ice cream machines. At least the place was clean. When we showed up we were taken to the table and greeted by our very sweet and attentive server Shelby. She also had a helper named Natalie that was also super kind. My parents had never been so they tried a bit of this and a bit of that. Dad loves fish so he had the fresh Ahi Tuna/salmon served at the salad bar as well as the served grilled shrimp. Mom had breakfast food to start and finished with beef rib and pineapple. I had a bit of this and that and was super stuffed. The mango chicken that comes around was delicious as well. I have to say the pineapple is a fan favorite of ours. The fellas that come around were super quick and ready to serve you up delicious yums. Jake and Justin were super friendly and kept our bellies full. Traditional Brazilian barbecue uses coarse salt on the meat that is cooked over an open flame or direct heat source. None of the meat was seasoned this way. 2) Farofa (unforgivable oversight for Brazilians). 3) Lightly breaded, fried bananas - a churrascaria staple. 4) Picanha com alho (garlic) - They served a garlic covered cheaper piece of meat. 5) Creme de Papaya com Cassis. Service was efficient, and they ran a special for people celebrating their birthday. The birthday person gets their main course for free. 20% tip was automatically added. Our server reminded us that was divided between them and other staff and pointed out the space where we could add an additional tip. Ambiance was traditional Brazilian steakhouse, with a small salad bar with hot food selections, as well. Conclusion: If you want an authentic Brazilian Steakhouse / Churrascaria experience, you're better off driving into Philadelphia, to King of Prussia, or Easton where you can still find it.
