However, over the course of seeing Kim I have had numerous strangers compliment my haircut. I LOVE IT (the cut that is)! She is truly an artist. She cuts with confidence and knows what she is doing. My color is always very nice too. I have so much confidence in Kim that this time I told here I wanted to change it up and just told her not what to do and it turned out great! This salon is not your average run of the mill style and pamper salon, it is a great place for great stylist. I would recommend this place to anyone for sure. Had a 5PM appointment after calling earlier that day. There were 2 male barbers and 1 female one. The female 1, named Gina, was the one who did my haircut. None of them really made Hitto Salon welcoming; I felt like I was just another customer. My hair got a nice shampoo treatment but after that, Gina did not really take the time to understand the kind of haircut I wanted even after showing her a photo - a simple cut with a thicker top and more faded sides. Throughout the entire haircut, she barely said a word; the most silent treatment I got in a salon. She shaved the sides but the cut lacked the shape and care I got from other nearby salons. My wife said that the back part of my cut looks uneven, rushed. She used mostly the razor for shaving without the crafting of the scissors to shape my hair to its ideal form. She did not even use a mirror to show me the mess she made on the back of my head. It's worth noting that this was the 2nd time I got a haircut from Gina, the first being in another salon named Scissorhands. I didn't realize this until my wife later told me about it, and I initially thought she was someone who resembled her. If I knew this from the start, I would probably would have refused to get another haircut from her given how unprofessional she performed on my first haircut with her. At the end of the haircut, she styled my hair a bit with some kind of styling cream and hairspray but no amount of styling could hide the mess of a haircut she made.

Scissorhands is my family's favorite with my two younger brothers regularly getting haircuts here. Andy is not as friendly as Miss Kim in Morrisville, but we recently had a nice conversation about the Korean language since I just started studying it. The cut was masterful, for sure, and followed the example I showed in a photo saved in my phone. Shampoo was included at no additional cost and I did not have to wait in my latest visit around Friday noon. I used to pay around $30 to $35 for a regular men's cut but the latest service, Andy charged me $40 (not including tips). As for the atmosphere, it's more spacious than their old location (where they shared space with other salons) but it's not as spacious as Hair News. Nonetheless, it's in a good location by High House Road, close to Cici's Pizza, a small Walmart market, and just less than 5 minutes drive away from HMart.

Came in 10 mins before my appointment and got seated right away. The lady who cut my hair was so sweet and precise, and she asked me a bunch of questions about what I wanted. I let her have a lot of freedom, and it looked great in the end! It was a longer appointment than I expected, but she was very detailed. It ended up being $70 which is pretty expensive in my opinion for just a woman's haircut. If you don't mind paying a hefty price, you should come here.

I liked that they had Capri suns ( the kid in me) offered to drink. Convo was decent and I get not all people are talkers. I particularly want either this day, so what ever, I just wanted my hair done right. I felt my back wet during the process and it wasn't the greatest feeling but whatever, it will dry right? I was semi happy with the results at the moment but also disappointed that it was only 2 peices and ended up in 2 huge sections with the dark in the middle. Think craolla devil look or a skunk with blonde stripes. Total $170 with not tip, after tip was about $205. That was no full blow dry, no style, no cut...nothing but the highlights and semi dry. Tip is not accepted on card only cash or venmo type apps. Anyhow, I leave, go home and a few days later my hair is very yellow and not blended at all. It looked terrible.. like I said yellow skunk. So a few more days go by and I am doing laundry. I notice the jumper I was wearing has a huge stain on it where all of my back felt wet. I thought, maybe this will wash out...it did not! It was dyed and I have bleach marks all over my outfit. I ended up having to go somewhere else and spend another couple hundred to get my hair fixed ( I showed the same inspo pic) and I have an outfit ruined by the hairdye. I will not be returning and I would not recommend going here. I'm giving a 2 because of the carpi sun, otherwise it would be a 1.

Dina takes the time to blow dry it one section at a time so that it lays flat without hot tools. I feel like my hair is much healthier and I also have been using the flat iron less.
