    The receipt

Extremely disappointed. We went in for our annual Christmas tradition with our family. We booked our Table weeks in advance and selected the night they said was easiest. When we arrived we're seated in the basement bar. I asked if there were any other tables upstairs and they said they were all reserved for parties. The bar is nice but not great for 4 kids under 12. The lighting was dark and the music made it had for our waitress to hear our orders. She was attentive and thought she did a great job. We had to repeat many orders and when we took dessert home found out that they sent the wrong dessert. When I called back they told be to bring the wrong dessert back along with the receipt. When I arrived they did not need the receipt nor collect the other dessert.

They have an amazing selection of true Kentucky bourbon.

Every year that I visit my mom for Christmas, this place is a required stop. The food is gourmet and dining in a classic Owensboro Victorian home sets a classy ambiance and the wooden stairwell and original design inside provides a comforting feeling of home. The basement has always staffed bartenders who provide swift service and tasty cocktails, but I love being surrounded by the walls of bourbon. They have an assortment ranging from Top shelf to the traditional standards.

I love everything about The Miller House. The restaurant itself is beautiful, the food is delicious, and the service is great. I joined friends for lunch for a retirement celebration. I got the tomato pie with the house salad. Talk about a perfect dish!! I have friends that order this seasonal dish and freeze them just so they can enjoy all year round. The pastry crust was flaky in all the right ways. The baked cheese topping was the chef's kiss. At the end of the meal, they brought out a platter of various desserts to help celebrate. What's a surprise! I've had dinner here multiple times, but this was a first time for lunch. Eat at this local place for a real treat!!

The Miller house is not only breathtaking but the service and food were all amazing! I was visiting the beautiful city of Owensboro KY for work and we held a work dinner function at the Miller House. Our party reserved the Spirit lounge which is located on the bottom floor of the house. First off, you can't help but take in the beautiful home the restaurant is set in. The pretty white painted house with quaint outdoor space and porch setting is so welcoming. Second was the service, excellent! We were a large group and the team handled us quickly and happily. The service team made the night extra special with their warm welcoming treatment. Third, the food. We had a preset menu with an appetizer dish, a selection of chicken, steak or salmon and dessert. All were amazing. I have to say I've never tried pimento cheese dip before and theirs is heavenly. It was a perfect night of ambiance, friends and good food. If you're in the area, be sure to stop in.

Amazing service and the entries were wonderful. The whiskey selection was one of the best at a restaurant bar I have ever experienced.

Service slow too busy talking and made to feel like you had to have a reservation to eat there when there were empty tables everywhere.

I wanted to try the Smoked Burger but they are not carrying it anymore, so I had the Classic Cheeseburger. It's a thin patty, well seasoned and delicious. The Cole Slaw I ordered had a weird taste so I didn't eat it. Overall, this is a cool place with some nice artwork by local artists.

I called ahead to be sure there was no wait. Beautiful building and vibe but not very crowded for a Saturday night. Was waited on my a wonderful young server by the name of Shelly. Pleasant , great attitude and welcoming when I asked questions about the menu. Now the food was the big issue here. Selected the Black and Brew burger which was describe as having two patties. Yes there were two but doubtful they were the 6 oz each as listed. The brew cheese sauce was very runny and caused the buns to fall apart when I picked it up. Burger was very well done as well. Side of sweet potato waffle fries were placed in a small dish barely allowing for a small handful. Pickles on the burger were an up charge. Definitely did not curb the burger craving. I pushed my reservations aside and ordered the dessert. Went with a slice of strawberry cheese cake. Server said they did not have any last time it was ordered but she would check. Viola! Came back with a slice.. though it was missing the strawberries. Away she went and returned with only a strawberry sauce. At this point I'm all in so I drizzled the sauce over the slice. Went to cut into it only to find the gorgeous looking slice was frozen solid. Ugggg . Walked it to the bar and asked for my check and explained the slice issue. This place has so much potential but is utterly failing on the food side.
