Finally, finally, finally, a place I can take my kids. This is the perfect spot for 30 somethings with young children, who want a beer, and to eat something they didn't have to cook themselves. If you are looking for a quiet dining place devoid of children then go somewhere else. If you are looking for a place where you don't have to worry about being judged for your kid, hey, you found your place. The Mill has a bar with a wide selection of beer, wine, and champagne all on tap. I will say the drinks are a little overpriced but really daddy just wants to drink a beer while my son plays cornhole and my daughter tries to climb everything. There are three restaurants there, OX Kitchen - Great Burgers, The Cereal Killer - Great Brunch Food, Mary Ann's - Great Sandwich. I think the food is a little overpriced for what you get but you didn't have to cook it and your not trying to keep your two year old seated and quite while trying to choke down a meal that you are not getting to enjoy. Also here is to the wait staff. I hope they are all given as much beer to drink as they want at the end of their shift. They somehow manage to hear your order while your try to scream over each other on what they want to eat even though you already know their order and you've told them to be quite. They somehow bring you your food all while dodging small children. They are able do do this all with a smile on their face. So to sum this place up, this is the most kid friendly place that exist in Fairhope right now. O and there's ice cream.

We ate here before on the Mardi Gras parades. The burgers were amazing and we loved the atmosphere.

Super fun kid environment. Wine prices for the quality are pretty disappointing. Restaurants are decent.

Our waitress blamed the kitchen for every mishap. One mistake, ok two mistakes and more, not buying it. We tried ordering drinks but our waitress had no idea what kind of wine they sold so she had to go check. When she returned we ordered drinks and when the drinks showed up we ordered the small beef and cheese dip, they also brought chips and salsa that was very tasty. She ordered a fahita steak quesadilla, she said it was very salty and average at best. I had the enchilada supreme with no sour cream, I was very clear and even said it twice. Our meals showed up before our "starter" beef and cheese dip. Mine had sourcream on it so I asked them to fix it as ordered. Next the dip showed up and the cheese had a thick skin over top of the cheese, it too was average. My enchilada showed up and it appeared they scraped off the sour cream and re applied the lettuce, etc. The problem is by then, the enchiladas were not very hot and the fries were soggy, luke warm and not crispy. The manager did come over and asked about our meal, I replied it was just ok, that was as nice as I could be. He offered to make it good on our next visit, I told him not to do so, he said he could fix it, but our meal was over at this point. We will likely try other mexican restaurants in the area before we attempt to come back to give them another chance. On any day a restaurant can fail.

We ordered an 18-inch pepperoni and half pineapple--so good! The supreme pizza was fantastic as well. In our family, ranch is a must, and this place did not disappoint. My destination: Janino's Pizza, a beacon of warmth and comfort food, or so I thought. I stepped inside, shivering, hoping to find solace in melted cheese and red sauce. The air smelled faintly of garlic and despair. The lights flickered above us -- not dramatically, but just enough to remind me that fate had a sense of humor. I ordered a pepperoni roll and the legendary "unlimited pasta and meatballs." Unlimited, they said. Unlimited hope, perhaps. The menu promised indulgence, but the universe had other plans. When I asked for a drink, the cashier's eyes went hollow. "We don't have any of those," she said. None. Of. Them. Not Coke, not Sprite, not even water with a smile. Just the sound of the soda machine hissing in quiet defeat. I tried to stay optimistic. After all, the food would surely make up for it. But then -- horror struck. Our food arrived. Hot, steaming, ready to be devoured. But there was a problem. No silverware. There we sat, staring at the steaming plates like survivors of a shipwreck watching rescue drift away. The pepperoni roll mocked me -- glistening, taunting. The pasta sat there, bathing in red sauce glory, untouchable, a forbidden treasure. Minutes ticked by. I began to question reality. Was this a test? A lesson in patience? Were we meant to eat spaghetti with our bare hands like medieval peasants? My inner monologue grew darker with every second. Finally, after what felt like an eternity (but was probably seven minutes), the silverware arrived -- carried like holy relics by a tired server who avoided eye contact, perhaps haunted by the chaos of the night. The food itself? It was... fine. But the experience -- oh, the experience -- will live forever in my mind as the night Janino's Pizza tested my spirit. If you ever go there, bring your own drink. And maybe -- just maybe -- pack a fork.

We are from out of town and we were looking for a local place to eat and drink. There's something special about stepping into a local spot that isn't part of a chain, where the charm is authentic and the welcome feels personal. This cozy country bar hit all the right notes. Great vibe and music. At 5:00pm on a Friday, it was peacefully quiet--just the kind of relaxed atmosphere we were hoping for. The service? Prompt, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. The space was spotless and clearly cared for, with a family-friendly vibe that made us feel right at home. Prices were perfect. Food wise and drink wise. We had bourbon and wine. We both went for the single smashed burgers, paired with a mountain of golden fries. And when we say a lot of fries, we mean it. Crispy, satisfying, and generously portioned--definitely worth every penny. The burgers were delicious, simple and flavorful, just what comfort food should be. If you are from out of town or local, stop by. This place is perfect!!!

Bartender/waitress was very nice, though it was a little upsetting that after she delivered my food and I asked for another beer, she decided it was more important to change the channel to a basketball game that someone else requested (the game had JUST started...he could have waited) AND she got him a drink (maybe he was a regular, but still.) Either way, I'm SUPER glad that my company is paying for the $23 cheeseburger I ordered on a whim, because it was NOT good! The cheese sticks appetizer (which cost half as much) were AMAZING but holy moly. The music was good if you like early 90's alternative (which I do) but other than that I don't really reccommend this place.
