The Milkovich team was incredibly responsive in all forms of communication (text thread, email thread, many phone calls). When we found the house we loved and wanted to place an offer, they worked SO quickly with us and with the seller's agent to get our offer in ASAP. From the minute we messaged them at 6am requesting to see the home, to their showing agent meeting us at the home at 12pm, to getting our offer in by 8pm the same day, they were really booking it to get the job done! We felt comfortable moving so quickly because the team had made sure we were fully equipped with the knowledge and tools we needed to be confident in placing an offer. Although we are now living in an information age, I still trust the words of mouth more than any other sources when coming to sell my house. A colleague recommended Lisa & Kristine to me. Although they successfully sold my colleague's house, there were still many unanswered questions over my head before our first meeting. After their presentation, I was completely convinced by their market analysis and proposed marketing strategy. Not only did they have in-depth knowledge about the local market, but importantly their professionalism manifested very well in the whole process. There were many things going on in our lives - we moved to a rental, we were selling our house where we lived for 9 years, we were starting on custom construction of our new house and it was the middle of the school year. Lisa and Kristine Milkovich made it so easy for us to sell our house and sold it for more than the list price!! During our first meeting, Lisa explained how her team stages the house, takes professional photos to show case the house in various online sites. She discussed strategies on how to get the house sold quickly. She went through our house and suggested what needs to be fixed and she was thoughtful about the fixes that matter to get the best return on investment. She took care of scheduling all the repairs - replacing carpets in some rooms, cleaning the roof, painting the house and they were all done so fast - within a week of us moving out!! We loved how Lisa and Kristine staged the house; our kids were excited as well to go through the entire house and see how well it was staged. I bought a home from her and her team in November of 2014. Not only were we told the house had a heat pump (which it did not) and an all-house air purifier (which it does not) but we were misled with the cat spray odor all over the house. Her mail was being delivered to our address as well and two weeks after moving in a home rental agency came to pick up some of the staging materials for the home. These ladies are awesome. With the Seattle market being what it is, I was very concerned that because I was buying as an individual with a normal salary, I wouldn't be able to compete. I also had no idea how any of this worked and didn't even know where to start. When Kristine met with me initially she took the time to explain the whole process thoroughly and really helped me understand all that goes into buying a home. We then set up a game plan and went out and saw a bunch of houses, all over town. At no point did I feel rushed or like she wasn't enthused about helping me look. When I did find one that I wanted (on the first day, haha:) Kristine stayed up until the wee hours with me going over what our offer would be and planning our attack. I say attack because this market is nuts and you really have to go in with both guns blazing. During staging which is a service they provide themselves, it was amazing to see how they transformed our Bellevue house from good to great! It was an eye open on how to arrange furnature and decorate house. They spent 6 hours, discussing among themselves all the details, and the end result was simpliy stunning. Lisa and Kristine are hands down the best real estate agents ever! A friend had referred them as she had great success with her condo sale. When they came to my condo for the intial meeting they were very prepared and knowledgeable of my market and had comps in my area. They made suggestions on what I could do to improve the unit to make it more appealing. They were small low cost items such as replacing the baseboard heaters, light switches which in turn made a huge difference. They coached me on how to prepare the condo to look sell ready things like decluttering and taking anything personal out and storing it so a future buyer could envision themselves there. They also staged my house with small accessories and even brought in a dining room table and chairs. For the open house they made laminated feature cards which point out all of the upgrades I had made, such as the 6K luxury vinyl, upgraded counters/cabinets, baseboard heaters etc. which without a doubt is why I got top dollar when I sold it. The marketing materials they made as well were unbelievable! They really told a story on the flyer and the photos were amazing. The open house was a huge success & I sold after 3 days on the market, making top dollar! I could have not done this without Lisa and Kristine and their expertise and personal touch.
