I hope things get resolved.. just be careful booking this venue, just know your commutations are going to be super delayed from what you are told. Great venue outside of town in a rural setting. Indoor wedding and reception are possible here. They also have a couple of wonderful outdoor options as well. Windows provide great lighting and the outdoor lighting is wonder. If you need a location you should consider this one. We attended a wedding here over the weekend. It is a large, traditional wedding hall complete with a large wooden bannister, kind of what you would expect to see in a movie (reminiscent of the house from The Notebook). There are definite delineations between ceremony space and reception hall, which is lacking in a lot of the venues we've been guests at recently. Quite beautiful for a couple seeking a classic wedding. Not really my thing, but it fit our friends perfectly and everyone had a great time. read more

It's the day after our daughter's wedding. What a dream! A big thank you to Morgan (planner) and Allison (coordinator) who held our hands and were wonderful! We used their in house florist, design haus, and they were bright, springy and modern! Cake and bakery treats were delicious too! The venue is stately & spacious and the separate chapel provides a beautiful scared space. The ballroom and bar are perfect for dinner and dancing. Very light and bright! Prior to the wedding, the groom's room and bridal room are spacious and provide a wonderful backdrop for pictures. Don't hesitate to book this venue. This VENUE cancelled a family wedding due to COVID-19 and we can understand that. However refuse to refund the couple their money. Further more they will not allow them to reschedule or move to a comparable Saturday. They chose instead to only give them options during the week. They paid several thousand dollars to have it at this venue. They even confirmed they have other Saturdays available. But won't let them book them. Please find another venue to deal with as this one doesn't care about you or your once in a lifetime event and the memories it will make! As the mother-of-the-bride, we want the wedding of a lifetime to be an unforgettable event... however, it is unforgettable for ALL the wrong reasons. During our first consultation, we were told we would have a dedicated wedding planner throughout our short process of planning (6 months). However, that was not the case. We were shuffled through 5 different people with details dropped every time the wedding shifted hands. Contractual items paid for (like a dedicated additional attendant for the bridal party on the wedding day, a cocktail bar set up in the bride's room, etc.) was not honored. The Tux order through the venue was botched and we had to go searching for same-size wedding guests who were wearing jackets that would fit and blend with the wedding theme. Pants had to be purchased last minute (which has yet to be reimbursed) and they have still never taken the wrong tuxes off our hands that belonged to some other wedding party. Not to mention, they lost a $16K check, right from the start, so there was that hassle of stopping payment and reissuing. We were assured quick response times, but multiple texts and emails were completely unanswered during all stages of planning making it a total nightmare for vendor deadlines. Our daughter - the bride - has been patient in trying to work with the venue (since her December wedding) before having anyone from the wedding party post reviews, however, there has yet again been no response from the venue or its management company. Bottom line, and in the words of the bride, "Go somewhere else, don't get stuck like I did." We hope someone contacts the bride about this. Once they do, I will update this review. read more

Great wedding venue. A little far out but worth the drive. Staff are professional and courteous. Three choices for ceremony and reception. Beautiful mansion was very elegant and the barn was rustic glam with beautiful chandeliers. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because of large dead tree in front. Really? My amazing wife and I just got married here on the 7th. I'll start with the visual appeal of the place. It's amazing. We ordered ore service beer and champagne in the suites upstairs and they were NOT cold. To say they weren't cold is to say the beverages were HOT. When I asked why and for a refund I was told "we brought you a bucket of ice" that is unacceptable for a service that is $4 a beer prior to the service. The food was mediocre at best with overdone pork tenderloin that was like chewing jerky. My 100+ guests had a good time and like I said the venue is beautiful. Let's get to the deposit that is supposed to be refunded 14 days after the wedding. It been 21 days and the venue keeps telling me accounting should be issuing it soon... if I wanted to pay the deposit "soon" would that work? The pre-service should have been refunded and the deposit should have been issued by now. Very unorganized. read more

Great venue, beautiful surroundings, wedding planner was fine. We did the outdoor chapel and barn for the reception. My only critique was the catering. There was plenty of beer, wine, champagne, soda for our 100 guests which was great. My only negative was catering seemed to be in a rush to serve appetizers and in a rush to serve the meal. We did photos and after the ceremony before the reception but appetizers had been taken up by the time we got back. Why? A few guests missed the buffet too. They called people up to the buffet line 2 tables at a time to get your food but if you were visiting or outside, you missed dinner. That was disappointing when you pay this kind of money. It seemed very task oriented. I know they do this every single day multiple times a day but to us, this was a once in a life time event. read more

Unimpressed with the experience. Lighting off Sherman street was poor. Could not see the small road off of Sherman St Lighting inside the barn was poor for pictures. Dinner plates were left on tables after the meal for 2-3 hours. The wedding ceremony was done outside and chairs were not set up at the time agreed upon. The amount of money spent was not worth the service provided. Such a shame because the grounds were beautiful but the organization needs substantial improvement! read more

This place is beautiful. We rented the Mansion AND the Barn. Most everything was great. A few complaints. They didn't clear our dinner plates. The food was very good. Highly recommend the cheese pasta and the salad and Chicken. But, who wants their plate to sit in front of them the WHOLE night after dinner? Gross. Bar service was great! DJ was great and kept everything moving nicely. We'd reserved shuttle service from the Mansion to the Barn. Elderly guests and ladies in high heels and the July HEAT. Transportation was a No show. Very disappointing! Didn't even grab their golf cart to help out. Guests had to figure it out and that wasn't what we paid for. Other than very small amount of Cocktail Hour food, it was good. Expensive and out in the Country, so hard to get to but overall a solid 3 stars. I'd have given 4 if they had cleared out dinner plates. My advice, choose the Mansion over the Barn unless you can afford both. read more

We had a wedding here back in October 2015 and It was a great experience! They really worked with us to pull off the wedding we dreamed about. Meagan our wedding coordinator was great and very helpful. We got many compliments on the venue and EVERYBODY LOVED THE FOOD!!! They helped us find a pastor and DJ who were great and were included in the price of the venue. They really made it easy on us and even helped out with anyone who was causing drama (not to name names). When we look back at the cost we truly feel like we got our money's worth with this Venue and experience they provided for us. I highly recommend this wedding venue to anyone. read more

My husband and I just got married here at The Milestone this past October and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. We picked this venue because it is absolutely gorgeous, and so convenient having everything we needed provided by the venue: catering, bar, staffing, linens & dishware, decorations and even a day-of-coordinator. Definitely made for hassle-free wedding planning! We also felt that the pricing and policies at The Milestone were more reasonable than may of the other venues we had visited. The property is so beautiful! They added so many stunning features that I wish had been there when we first booked! I loved how accessible and accommodating everyone was. All of my questions were promptly answered, and they always kept me informed. We loved the catering! All of the food was amazing, and the catering staff were awesome. Everyone was especially attentive to us during the reception bringing us food and drinks whenever we needed it. I also like that they do several events throughout the year to give brides the opportunity to do food tastings and get an idea of how the venue will look and how the catering staff will be on the day of. Misty was our coordinator, and she was absolutely amazing! She was so sweet and was great at explaining everything. She was also really great with the kids! I loved how she was always just an email or phone call away if I needed her. The day of went very smoothly. Even though we had a few hiccups (unrelated to the venue), the staff did a great job of keeping the ball rolling. The only thing that I would change would be the available time slots. I felt that I didn't get to fully enjoy the available amenities (The bridal suite/grooms suite) and I felt like our wedding day was very tightly scheduled, and we had to rush through everything. Yes there is an all-day rental option available, but only on Saturday. Other than that, we had a great experience with The Milestone Mansion, and I highly recommend it to any future brides!!! read more
