It was honestly such an stress-free wedding day because they were so diligent and helpful. Beautiful and recently refreshed, this venue is nothing short of garden perfection. The greenhouse-esque covering for the ceremony space turned out to be completely necessary for our wedding (because of course it rained for the first time in October on our wedding day). Our pictures looked wonderful and our photographer was so excited to shoot here. There are truly so many beautiful spots to capture every moment; you really get the best of everything.

We chose the vendor package, which included the in-house photographer, and DJ among other things. While the convenience was appealing, several issues occurred throughout the day. To start, our centerpieces only covered 8 of the 10 tables. This may have been an oversight on my part, so I'm not placing blame on the venue for that. The ceremony itself was beautiful, but there was an issue with the music for my entrance. I chose the same song for both my bridesmaids and myself because there was a specific part of the song I wanted to walk down the aisle to. I had previously asked the wedding planner if the music could be looped if timing ran long, and she assured me it could. However, while waiting in the bridal suite with my dad, I heard the part of the song I was supposed to walk into come and go. I was later told that my niece and nephews took longer walking down the aisle. I completely understand that kids will be kids, but this was something we had discussed beforehand to prevent exactly this situation. Our photographer did a good job overall, though we are still waiting on the final photos. However, he forgot about the "first touch" moment I had planned with my husband until one of my bridesmaids reminded him. At the reception, there were multiple issues with the DJ. He switched the entrance songs for my husband, myself, and the bridal party. We used the provided app to carefully create our playlist, but it seemed like it was not followed closely. He also did not fade out the songs for our first dance or for my father-daughter dance as requested. Once open dancing started, he began playing songs that were not on our playlist and that many of our guests did not recognize. Overall, he seemed unprepared. As for the wedding planner, she was helpful during the planning process but did not seem organized on the actual wedding day. We had arranged for a coffee cart during cocktail hour. When the barista finished for the evening, he prepared a bag with coffee items for my husband and me for the next day and said he would give it to the wedding planner. However, the wedding planner left once dancing began. When we were leaving, we remembered the coffee and asked my mom to retrieve it, but she couldn't find the coordinator to ask about it. If one or two small things had gone wrong, it would have been easier to overlook. But the number of mistakes throughout the day left a very disappointing impression for both my husband and me. If you are looking strictly for a beautiful venue, Aristide is stunning. However, based on our experience, I would not recommend purchasing the vendor package, as we did not feel that our plans were executed with the attention to detail we expected.

Before finding Dallas Palms I was disappointed when I saw wedding venues that didn't offer anything besides the venue. You had to rent tables, linens, and find a caterer all on your own. Dallas Palms truly has it all! Cathy was our wedding coordinator and helped us with whatever we needed. The other staff was friendly and helpful as well. Dallas Palms can help you with pretty much anything you need. For example they helped us look for DJ's, mariachi bands, set up the venue, and make the boutiques/boutineers. They provided the tables/chairs, linens, and silverware. (and I'm sure there is more that I'm forgetting) There are many unique things that the Dallas Palms can offer you, but one of my favorite things they did was our dessert bar. We didn't want a traditional wedding cake and this was something different they could offer. The bar was full of ice cream with toppings, an assortment of cookies and cupcakes. It was so fun and guests loved that they could have something sweet whenever they wanted. I hope you have a great experience like we did and give this place a chance! Thank you Cathy and anyone else that helped make our day so much fun and special.

As of…read moreApril 22, there has been no response, so I am posting this review to help inform other couples. We held our wedding on March 29, 2025, with over 500 guests, including many who traveled from out of state and internationally. While the celebration was memorable in many ways, it was due largely to the hard work of our family and the patience of our guests. Unfortunately, there were several issues with the venue that significantly impacted our experience. * Venue Access: We were promised full use of the Bellaire room, but only received access to half due to construction. We were not made aware of the final changes until the day of the event. This impacted layout and vendor setup, leading to unexpected additional costs. * Power Accessibility: Several electrical outlets were not functioning, creating complications for our vendors. * Restroom Conditions: Restrooms were not cleaned or maintained during the event and lacked hot water. Multiple guests brought this to our attention. * Weather Contingency: A tent was discussed in early planning as a complimentary option in the event of rain. We were later told--one day before the wedding--that it would cost $10,000 and had to be arranged a week in advance. Unfortunately, it rained during the event, and no coverage was provided. * Safety Concerns: During the rainstorm, staff began mopping the floors while guests sought shelter, and no wet floor signs were posted. This created safety concerns. * Seating Plan Issues: A detailed seating chart and layout were sent via email and reviewed during our walkthrough. On the wedding day, the plan was not followed. When we asked for clarification, the coordinator - Cathy, said she never received it, despite email confirmation on March 11th. * A/V Services: We paid $811 for six TVs to display our short film and seating plan. The TVs were non-functional during the event, and the on-site technician was not present. We were informed for the first time that our external DJ was expected to manage the venue's equipment, which was not part of the agreement. * Security and Staffing: We were told there would be two security officers, but only one was present. Several tables, including key family seating, were missing. The day-of coordinator, Cathy - was unavailable at critical times, and our family had to step in to support logistics during the storm. We paid over $35,000 and took many steps to confirm details in advance, including sending a comprehensive planning booklet and email follow-ups. Despite that, the event day was marked by disorganization and unfulfilled commitments. Our wedding was a once-in-a-lifetime moment. We had hoped for a smooth and professional experience. I'm sharing this review so others can make informed decisions when selecting a venue for such an important occasion. (Please check Google Reviews if you'd like to see supporting videos)

We chose the full package with wedding coordinator, which I highly recommend! Tina was amazing, walking us through the entire process. She was very attentive and always answered our emails and phone calls promptly. One other thing we loved about Paradise Cove was the ability to choose our own vendors, unlike other places that force you to use there's. We were able to control our budget this way and still get the things we wanted. Tina was a wonderful resource to provide vendor info and help keep us on a planning timeline. They also provided almost everything we needed for the wedding & reception which saved a lot of time and money. All of the tables, chairs, table settings, dishes, silverware, many of the decorations were provided and set up by Tina and her team. We added a few touches of our own, which Tina happily put up as well so there was very little for us to do but focus on the bride and the bridal party. Contrary to another post, we knew exactly what we were expected to do to get our deposit back. It is written very plainly in the contract on what the family is responsible for. If you pick the full package it was very little cleanup (basically have enough catering staff and have them bus the tables and plan on having them there until the festivities are over). We received our deposit back within a week as promised. Definitely recommend Paradise Cove! The day of the wedding went very smoothly. Tina took care of all the details so the day was enjoyable and as stress free as possible! We had the wedding outdoors by the lake, nice and quiet in their little cove. Worth. Every. Penny…read more My husband and I used One Love Events for our wedding this past September (pictures below) and we still think it was the best decision we made. I found One Love Events on Yelp while searching for wedding coordinators. And, let me just say, if you are getting married you NEED a "day of" wedding coordinator. My husband was skeptical about hiring a wedding coordinator, but even he was completely onboard after meeting with Delina and Whitney. Who's going to put out your decorations while you're getting your hair/makeup done with bridal party? Who is going to queue the music or musicians? Who is going to sit at the venue for hours and receive all the vendors, because someone has to be there (flowers, caterers, cake, etc)? If you're like me, your family and friends are going to be in your wedding and logistically you need them in other places. Also, who is going to pack up all of your gifts, decorations, food/cake at the end of the night and put it in someone's car for you? Believe me, you don't want your friends and family stuck with these tasks when they could be enjoying your wedding with you. One Love Event staff handled all of this us! I admit I was a little nervous contacting One Love Events at first because they did not have any "Yelp recommended" reviews. But, let me just say, they were completely legit and professional. Delina and Whitney have been doing this for years. We hired them just for "day of" wedding coordinator services, but we got more than just "day of" services. We had pre-wedding meetings, calls/texts, and just a lot of communication before the wedding. I think they sent us vendor recommendations and a checklist too. Plus, Delina helped run the rehearsal the night before the wedding and collected all the wedding decorations. Also, if you're worried a wedding coordinator will cost a fortune, you're not alone. My husband and I paid for everything ourselves and wanted the most for our money. I called another 5 Star rated wedding coordinator company here on Yelp and I think they quoted like $3,000-$5,000 for only one staff member. Crazy. One Love showed up with at least 3 people that I saw and One Love was way, way, way more affordable than $3,000 for one coordinator. They also let you pay in installments and I was able to pay everything online. To sum it up, be a wise bride or groom and book them immediately!
