I don't want this for another bride. When my mom & I met Julia at her office, everything seemed to be going well - I was really happy w/ her. I told her I was overwhelmed choosing HAMU for me & the BMs - she said "I do this for a living, I will send you who to use." I never received anything. I found the HAMU on my own & she never followed up to even confirm I booked HAMU, she didn't care to ask. It seemed like she had her own agenda to have us get things that would just look good for her portfolio. ~ 2 months into working w/ her I told her we want a party bus w/ the wedding party to leave & she told me to get an old Rolls Royce, I said that isn't our style & this is what we want. 2 days later she went to my mom saying she thinks we want the car - She didn't care what we wanted. ~ 1 Week before - we were working w/ the band coordinator (BC), Julia was very adamant about her timeline, which is completely understandable. I simply wanted to clarify that it will be okay if we go off the timeline a tiny bit. I emailed her saying after the grand entrance, we'd have our first dance, father daughter, mother son, & welcome speech - all I said was that we don't need EXACT times after each, if a speech runs over it's ok - we have to be flexible. I told her the timeline was GREAT but things happen so to prepare to be flexible. After this I had no trust - 3 days before the wedding our GMs flights got canceled & I was working on getting new flights, I also was taking the programs to print & she asked to have a call - I texted her what happened, & how overwhelmed/stressed I was & I would call her when I could - all she said was "oh my" not "what can I take off your plate & help?" I THEN get contacted by the BC, that she had told them to throw out the entire timeline, that we didn't want it, & she didn't know if we wanted speeches/dances & she was "waiting for me to have time for her". I had so much to do with no help from her. The BC then called me & I clarified. Julia turned it & apologized to me for the BC getting confused We were late to rehearsal, & she didn't introduce herself to the wedding party while they waited - they thought she was a parishioner praying for the first 20 min they were there. Later, she introduces herself to me. I met her in person - she really didn't remember meeting the bride? She asks if I want to say hi and points to her bag - she had her dog the whole time in the Church. How is that appropriate? Day of, she wasn't setting up until after 2, so my mom was there. I don't have getting ready pictures w/ my mom, something I can't get back because she was doing Julia's job. Julia never asked if we needed anything, she didn't talk to me the day of until it was time to go down the aisle. She just walked past me. I hate leaving a bad review, I know people have off days - which is why we emailed her first. She tried to turn it & make excuses or said "Idk what to tell you", or issues about her personal life, even implying she was a widow which she isn't. She discussed her financial struggle, & made it so personal - this is a business not a friendship - all this shows she doesn't know customer service or business. An apology would have gone a long way. I almost didn't write this but our entire WP told me I had to so this doesn't happen to someone else.

You kick up your heels while solving a murder mystery, that's what! Here's what you get: $129/pp includes a cheese and crackers reception (cash bar), dinner, drink ticket/pp (cash bar after that), the game, a DJ, prizes for the winning table, champagne and a balloon drop at midnight and NYE party favors. $130/hotel room and breakfast for two the next morning. Worth it? Absolutely! Here's the lowdown: ~The actors make this show worth it. No, you're not seeing Oscar winning performances but they're so sincere that you just can't help but get caught up in the cheese of the whole thing. The Detective was perfect at leading us through the night and making sure we were paying just enough attention to grasp what the hell was going on. The victims and suspects all played their roles fantastically and never once broke character, even though they mingled with the crowd all night. **Tip - pay attention, there's a ton of info to absorb. There are pens on the table, use them to take notes before the hostess/detective suggests it. You're welcome. ~There was just enough action going on to make the night breeze by, while still being calm enough to enjoy the evening with my date and our tablemates. I never felt rushed through the process and was absolutely shocked that 3 hours had gone by and it was past 11:00. I credit the hostess and actors 100% for their dedication to time management and keeping us all in line. ~The DJ was freaking awesome! She kept the night hopping with an eclectic mix of music that had even the oldest amongst us shuffling their feet on the dance floor and had couples pressed cheek to cheek. She busted out old bar line dances that had the younger crowd perplexed and the older crowd smiling at the memories. ~The bartenders worked their asses off and kept the drinks flowing (yes, we were paying for them but still). It was frustrating to see so many people not tipping them but I guess that's how it goes. I just know the few times my fella went to the bar and tipped generously, they took very good care of us. ~The dinner crowd played their part perfectly! Everyone took the attire suggestion (suit and tie/cocktail dresses up to tuxedo and evening gowns) seriously and we were one fancy looking crowd. We worked the mystery as tables of 8 and were given plenty of clues and background info to solve the crime. Some tables were more serious than others - and some were very serious - but it really felt like the entire ballroom was a part of the story. ~The food wasn't Nick and Sam's but it was good. (not even gonna lie, I'm about to C&P the website) *Baby mixed greens with gorgonzola, candied walnuts and cranberries, served with a shallot vinaigrette. *Raspberry sorbet garnished with fresh berries. *Beef tenderloin with lack shallot sauce, grilled shrimp and scallop (website says pan seared halibut, which didn't happen), potato gratin and roasted winter vegetables (asparagus and carrots). *Warm dinner rolls and butter. *Triple chocolate mousse cake with fresh fruit sauce and chocolate garnish (this was so rich I couldn't even finish it and I'm a serious chocolate whore). *Regular & decaffeinated coffee service with cream and sugar (I missed this part but I wasn't paying attention very well by this point). ~The Omni Park West wasn't quite up to what I consider Omni standards but it was still a nice hotel and the staff worked hard to make sure we were comfortable. The best part of the hotel was the free parking garage around back. Don't get suckered into paying $14/night for valet, drive around to the back of the hotel and park for free! Breakfast the next morning was typical hotel buffet (powdered eggs and all) but it was free and the service was outstanding so who can complain about that? Thanks to Keith and Margo, I found a creative, fun way to have have a contained NYE celebration with no DWI, no drama and a bed upstairs just waiting for us. Happy New Year to all of us!

This was extremely uncomfortable for me and a few of my Sorors! We decided to just hold up the wall and people approached us to ask questions. Afterwards, we were allowed to take a seat at our assigned tables and were given instructions. Immediately we were introduced to "Detective Duffy" who began the story before we were instructed by table to go to the buffet. Overall, the food was great, the entertainment...meh and I think the cost should be $40-50 max instead of the $70 paid. Our table was able to solve the murder mystery which did make things somewhat worthwhile.

This review serves as a warning for future brides to think twice before hiring Prashe, particularly Naomi Guridy, whose lack of creativity, professionalism, unresponsiveness, and failure to deliver caused significant stress to our entire family. Thanks to our wedding planners' heroic efforts, the wedding turned out significantly better than if Prashe had handled the decor as planned. Lack of creativity and responsiveness: Prashe failed to meet expectations from the start. Despite our initial concerns, we agreed to work with Prashe because the owner assured us that she was confident they could deliver within our budget. Unfortunately, once we executed a contract in July, Naomi's designs consistently lacked creativity and did little to elevate the decor while also significantly exceeding our agreed upon budget. When we provided Naomi with direct, critical feedback in early September, she handled it poorly and failed to give clear updates on how she planned to address our concerns. After our in-person visit in mid-September, Naomi disappeared for weeks and was totally unresponsive despite repeated follow-ups from our planners. During her absence, Prashe failed to provide updates on Naomi's behalf or even a timeline within which we could expect to hear back. An updated design proposal (with no budget updates) was finally shared in late October--just six weeks before the wedding--which still required significant revisions. In mid-November, less than a month before the wedding, she shared a revised budget that more than doubled our original total contract value, leaving us with little room to maneuver. Poor budget transparency: While we expected to exceed our original budget, Prashe's lack of transparency and communication was appalling. The cost increases were staggering, with inflated charges for labor, transportation, and taxes--many of which had been absent from the original proposal and was never communicated to us as the design evolved. Instead, we were pressured to pay at the last minute without meaningful explanation or a chance to review the budget live as Naomi went on vacation the day after sharing it with us. Wrongful contract termination: The last straw came just two weeks before the wedding, when Naomi suddenly and unilaterally terminated the contract without notifying us directly or offering a compromise, while retaining the 25% deposit we had paid. This was done with malicious intent to back us into a corner and jeopardize the wedding. It would have been better if Prashe had declined to take us on as clients from the start rather than over-promising and under-delivering to secure the business. In sharp contrast, the replacement vendor executed superbly within our budget in just two weeks! While the wedding ultimately turned out beautifully, the emotional and financial toll caused by Prashe Decor and Naomi cannot be overstated. Brides deserve vendors who are transparent, reliable, and deliver on their promises--qualities Prashe Decor entirely lacks. We are exploring legal options to address the damage caused by this ordeal and strongly advise anyone considering this company to proceed with extreme caution.
