Came for a wedding reception 3/14. The wedding was over 4 months ago (11/21/20). That's COVID for you. Event was catered out of Fort Worth, I suspect because the original venue (in Grapevine) shuttered for the pandemic and never reopened. This venue meant an hour drive from north Fort Worth. I had no idea what was in the area, but after 50 minutes of highway driving, we were at our exit. 5 minutes on a surface street, and another 5 on a quaint country road, and we were finally at the gate of Stone Crest Venue. First impression? Pretty, but why here? We get out of the car, and instead of walking to the front of the heavily windowed indoor event space, I went around back. Wow, what a view! I was not expecting to see so much elevation change. I followed a path down, and found another large area with a waterfall, and real wood fire blazing. The fire will later be used for S'more making thanks to little kits on the dessert table. Back inside and this place is absolutely gorgeous. Large patio overlooking the area weddings would occur. Inside plenty of space in the high-ceilinged building. A graceful stairway sweeps down from above. I think changing rooms are up there? Toward the end of the day we were graced with a gorgeous sunset. Bottom line: Definitely worth the drive! PS. Read a couple reviews about the super nice owners. I might have met one, Ryan, if he was wearing a super sharp blue sports coat!

Wow. There are no words to express what a fantastic time I had celebrating my bother in law's wedding at Stone Crest on 3/7. The grounds were clean, pristine, and stunning. The ceremony location was like something out of a Tuscan vineyard (not what I expected from McKinney, TX!). The arbor was gorgeous, pews were modern and pretty, and the faux grass was a nice touch (green all year round!). After the ceremony, we enjoyed cocktail hour on the porch, which was spacious and lovely. After that, we entered the building and we were absolutely blown away. While much of the credit goes to the bride for her style choices - the design and aesthetic of the space itself played a large part. From the vaulted ceilings and chandelier, to the floor to ceiling fireplace and grand staircase - the whole room was like something from a movie. Just stunning in every way. The staff at the venue was present and professional throughout the event, which I noticed and appreciated. Overall, I was blown away by this venue and would LOVE to attend another wedding here. Bravo!

Went to a wedding here and loved the view from the back of the venue. Absolutely gorgeous view of a valley. Outdoor games in the back were fun and plenty of space for a big wedding. The wedding I attended had around 100 and there was tons of space to spread out indoors and outdoors. Upscale rustic decor and lots of attention to detail.

This venue was beautiful! Even when it's empty. I'm a wedding coordinator and the venue manager that I worked with, Kathy, was so helpful before and during the big day. The outdoors ceremony area is spacious and you can decorate the altar however you'd like. I would definitely recommend this venue to future clients!

This cotton mill manufactured the largest amount of denim material in the world at one time. The lighting where they request you to set up the wedding party table is very dimly lit so you'll need to bring some sort of lighting. There isn't a ton of parking so make sure your guests carpool. You're required to use caterers off their list. I think the list had about 6-7 on it. The room they offer for weddings inside is a hallway. Literally a hallway. It's definitely not worth the $1,500 price tag they put on it. I would recommend using the outdoor space if you can. It's spacious and looks like a spot you'd have a wedding. It's perfect for an October wedding! The woman who showed us the venue spent maybe ten minutes with us. We felt a little rushed. But then again it was 7pm so maybe she was ready to go home. We never did get a follow up call or email from her. I didn't quite get that warm feeling from them. It felt very corporate. They book up pretty quick so you'll want to schedule your date here way in advance. Overall a cute place to have a wedding. Just make sure you hire someone to bring in lighting and you book your wedding not in peak season or you'll have to book two years out. Update: I received a message from the woman who did my tour. 1) She addressed me as Samantha. My name is Stefanie. Therefore she showed a lack of attention to detail 2) She stated she was in a hurry because she was showing 2 groups at the same time. During our tour she told us we were the last group and there was no one here so we were free to wander around wherever. We never saw a second group or couple looking around. 3) She was confused by my comment about lack of parking. Due to her lack of information and not telling us they apparently have a second parking lot, how were we to know there was additional parking elsewhere other than the one small lot we saw when we pulled in? 4) Regarding the head table. During our tour she told us that's where they put the head table. There was no comment about it being able to be elsewhere. She said that's where it will be set up for your event so it didn't even sound negotiable. My review still stands.

We hosted both our ceremony and reception there for 150 guests, and it couldn't have worked out better. One of the biggest advantages of 34 Events is how much is handled in-house. From linens and flatware to special lighting, catering, and the bar, so much was coordinated through the venue, which made the planning process incredibly easy and stress-free. The food was prepared on-site and was delicious. We received numerous compliments from our guests. We also utilized Hope's Day-of Coordination services, and it was worth every penny. Hope is simply amazing. She made the entire day feel calm and effortless, allowing us to truly enjoy every moment. We are so grateful for her care, organization, and attention to detail.
