I had planned to eat half now, and half later but the sandwich was on the smaller side so I just ate the whole thing. I would prefer a larger regular size sandwich for a few more dollars. The only other option is the giant size at $19.95. The sandwich was also a little bland, and it seemed like I tasted more lettuce than meat and cheese. I could understand that vibe later in the evening, but during lunch it felt excessive. Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was the French dip. It was honestly one of the worst I've had in quite some time. With so many restaurants serving great French dips and Italian beef sandwiches these days, this one fell far short of expectations. The meat was tough, rubbery, and had a bologna-like texture and flavor that was very off-putting. Considering the price, it was especially disappointing. I've honestly had better French dips from fast-food restaurants. Overall, Tony's earns high marks for hospitality, service, and drinks, but the loud music and disappointing French dip kept the experience from thinking about returning.
