But literally I rented my bike as a walk-in - there are literally plenty of bikes for rental. Their business is not thriving enough to think so highly of themselves lol. Should have been more reasonable as people, instead of trying to juice people out of every penny.

I took the 2 hour Central Park walking tour…read more Our guide, Aaron, was very knowledgeable and shared many interesting details throughout the tour. However, I was a bit distracted by how often he consulted his phone for accuracy, and he did take a short call during the tour. I appreciated his creative use of music to help us imagine the park's history -- it was a unique touch -- though I personally didn't want to stand still quite so long for that portion. He had also planned to show us historic photos, but unfortunately, the tablet provided by the company had a dead battery, which reflected more on the company's preparation than on Aaron himself. On the positive side, we were lucky to get a VIP-style experience since we were the only two participants on the tour. Aaron was thoughtful and kind -- he even brought and offered us a poncho since it was raining. He also went out of his way to guide us on how to use the subway afterward so we could reach our next appointment on time, and he eagerly pointed out great photo spots and offered to take pictures for everyone. Overall, I'm glad I took this tour. Aaron clearly cared about our experience and made it memorable despite a few minor hiccups. FYI: this tour does not include Strawberry Fields or the Alice in Wonderland statue.

This is our go-to for custom service, and who we recommend for anything beach cruiser (accessories, bikes, service). Read a couple low-star reviews from last summer during the peak of the pandemic's bike shop crunch and thought they were awesome - the guys are dicks? Yep, and that is exactly why we love them - they aren't sweetie sugar-coating, upselling or playing around with lowballers wanting their big box store crap fixed. Those bad reviewers pedal 2nd hand k-mart huffy's.

The owner of this bike shop is a disgusting piece of a human being--a vile excuse for a business owner. He is deceitful, unprofessional, and completely lacking in integrity. Over the phone, he quoted one price for assembling a bike, but when I arrived to pick up my bike, he suddenly demanded more--an obvious bait-and-switch tactic. He and his inexperienced teenage staff also attempted to withhold or swap out parts that rightfully belonged to me, simply because the bike wasn't purchased from his store. He even had the audacity to think I wouldn't notice the difference--trying to pass off cheap, generic parts in place of the originals. When I confronted him and said I would call the police for stealing my parts, he exploded in anger, yelling at me and calling me "cheap" and "crazy" in a hostile, unhinged manner. I paid this man for a service he and his employees failed to perform correctly, and instead of owning up to his dishonesty, he doubled down with disrespect and aggression. His behavior is disgraceful, unethical, and absolutely unacceptable. Avoid at all cost!!!!

We opted to rent for 3 hours and this was JUST enough to make one giant lap around Central Park with a few stops to see Strawberry fields and a couple other photo spots.

For the first 15 minutes we were yelled at by bicyclist and joggers and when we complained to the tour guide, he got very defensive. I blame this company for not vetting him and he was not qualified to be a tour guide.

I was born and raised in Brooklyn so the Brooklyn Bridge holds a special place in my heart. I…read morehaven't walked the bridge in about 10 years and a lot has changed. It is wayyyyy busier and there are a lot of little vendors that sell really cheap souvenirs (tip for tourists), drinks (cans and bottled) and ladies selling fruits. There are two lanes. One for walkers and one for bikers. It is nice to respect each other and stay on your designated side. It is free to walk the bridge and also very fun and relaxing. I recently took the walk by myself and had a great time. I chatted with some of the vendors and took in the scenery. Even though it is busy, you are still able to get a picture without so many people if you take your time. I always enter from the Brooklyn side, no specific reason why. If you are a tourist I wouldn't recommend wasting money on a "tour" unless you can't google the history yourself. Tours restrict your time. It may be better to roam for free. This is a must do if you are ever in NY!

Anyway there's a whole bunch of tables set up at the end of the bridge on the NY side with souvenirs; keychains, posters, post cards, etc. very cheap too! Like $1 ea. Or 10 for $5 - not a bad deal. As for the bridge itself it's so packed. There's a lane designated for bikers are they will honk or yell at you if you're in there and will run you over if you don't move lol. They will not slow down. It's hard to get a picture on the bridge when it's busy. Everyone's taking their selfies with the lovely buildings. And people are constantly asking others if they can take pictures for them. I mean, just get your picture and get out lol. You don't have to actually walk the whole bridge. You seen it you took a picture so get out lol.
