Absolutely great service. We love the effectiveness. Got in at 10 AM checked out. They helped us with our bikes gave us the right size. No questions asked. Also really lazy to get to seventh Avenue entrance of Central Park. I'd come back anytime.

All the staff is very nice. We love going around Central Park with these bikes. This is the perfect location to rent them from.

However, I was a bit distracted by how often he consulted his phone for accuracy, and he did take a short call during the tour. I appreciated his creative use of music to help us imagine the park's history -- it was a unique touch -- though I personally didn't want to stand still quite so long for that portion. He had also planned to show us historic photos, but unfortunately, the tablet provided by the company had a dead battery, which reflected more on the company's preparation than on Aaron himself. On the positive side, we were lucky to get a VIP-style experience since we were the only two participants on the tour. Aaron was thoughtful and kind -- he even brought and offered us a poncho since it was raining. He also went out of his way to guide us on how to use the subway afterward so we could reach our next appointment on time, and he eagerly pointed out great photo spots and offered to take pictures for everyone. Overall, I'm glad I took this tour. Aaron clearly cared about our experience and made it memorable despite a few minor hiccups. FYI: this tour does not include Strawberry Fields or the Alice in Wonderland statue.

There are many stops where Marc our guide would tell us many different stories and historical tidbits. We saw north of Harlem and the Bronx, picturesque woods, ate at a Dominican Republic restaurant for lunch, saw Little Italy in the Bronx, so much fun! Our tour guide Marc was awesome, funny, and caring. There was another tour guide (I think Chris) who always rode in the back to make sure none of us got lost or left behind. We saw things on this tour that we would never have seen any other way. They fitted us for bikes and helmets and provided waters, bikes were fine. We felt safe at all times. The forecast was for rain from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm so when I arrived, I asked the guy at the front desk if we could change our ride for one of the tours later in the day. They run tours at 11:00 am, 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm. He responded and said that it was going to rain all day. I told him that was not the forecast and that it was supposed to be clear in the afternoon. He said that weathermen could not be trusted and he did not change our schedule. Shortly after the ride started, it rained heavily and the temperature was 39 degrees Fahrenheit. We were dressed for rain but didn't have gloves and between the cold and the wet, it was very rough. Within 20 minutes, one of my 14 year old sons was freezing and crying like I had never seen him cry. We had to leave the tour. When I got back to the bike shop, I asked if I was going to be given a refund. The same guy said immediately "No, you didn't ask to change the schedule." I was astonished. The first thing he said was that I didn't ask to change the schedule when he knew that was the first thing I asked. He had no problem looking me straight in the eye and lying. My fault for not walking away at this point, but we'd already gotten excited by the idea. Outside we were then strongly scolded by the bike handlers for not already knowing there was a separate line for male and female bikes. The biking itself was enjoyable but we ended up only keeping the bikes for 2 hours due to the immense traffic of horse carriages, other bicyclists, bike caddies, park carts, pedestrians, etc. It just became too much and felt too dangerous. The bike was poorly maintained and generally unpleasant to ride. But things got much worse then the cheap plastic pedal fell off half way through my ride. I couldn't screw it back on as the screw threads were completely stripped. I was able to get to a nearby bike shop, and they confirmed the bike couldn't be easily repaired and would need an entirely new crank arm. I called Unlimited Bikes, and they offered to bring me a new bike. According to the agent, they had a truck in the area, and it would take them about 30 minutes to get to me to deliver another bike. After 40 minutes I called back to get an update. The truck was about 45 minutes away. What blackhole time warp caused the truck to get 15 minutes farther over 40 minutes is a mystery. I waited another 30 minutes and called to check on the status. The truck was still 45 minutes away. At this point, I got frustrated. They said they could expedite a bike over, but there was traffic and it would take 30 minutes. I waited another 15 minutes and called to check in again. There was no truck available and no spare bikes. WTF. They suggested I get an UberXL and take an hour ride back into Manhattan. They refused to cover that cost. Needless to say, very unhappy that they wasted my entire afternoon and left me stranded. And get this - they refused to refund the cost of the bike rental!!! After fighting aggressively over the course of a week (and contesting the charge on my credit card), I finally got a refund. But wow. I highly recommend avoiding Unlimited Biking at all costs. It's not just about getting a bad bike, you could find yourself dangerously stranded or worse, injured on your ride.

First on the bus and picked the front seats. We met outside the Pulitzer Fountain. We arrived early so we were there before the bus and the "blue umbrella" you are suppose to watch out for, so at first we weren't sure that we were in the right spot. It was a large white/grey bus and very comfortable. We found that even though it was quite a large group, everyone was very courteous and respectful which made the whole thing very pleasant. The tour took about 3.5 hours and I loved every second. It is mostly driving through NYC and discussing the locations and scenes that were filmed there. They then show clips either before or (mostly) after you drive past the location. It was great. There are three locations you get out of the bus for and they include: The Sex Shop: Least favorite of the drop off locations. Two buses pulled up at the same time and though we were the first ones inside, it filled up so fast to the point of just being stupid. Carrie Bradshaw's Apartment: Well organized. We came up to it in a line and the tour guide took your groups pictures in front. Magnolia's was too busy on a Saturday to have time to pick something up (they apparently move fairly slow), but from what I understand, on less busy days, people are able to get some treats. Steve/Aidan's Bar: $10 cosmopolitans! This space is GORGEOUS. I would love to come back. There is a cosmo station where they have a dedicated person serving the cosmos to the bus tour. I don't usually like cosmos but these tasted like delicious boozy pink lemonade. My friend and I were only here for the day, but there are multiple restaurants, bars and bakeries that were featured on the show that I would love to go back to on my own. They give you a list after the tour which will be helpful for next time. The tour ends at the HBO store. The store is nice but mostly Game of Thrones merchandise. I ALMOST bought the DVD series of Sex and the City because I desperately wanted to binge watch it, but I didn't. Thank God! It was $88 at the store and $50 via Amazon Prime.
