No complaints on that as it wasn't an issue. It's a very remote location and Internet service isn't the best but hopefully you don't need to use it too much when you're there. Within minutes he had rescued me- omg! Talk about embarrassing myself- This gentleman was professional and polite and had a positive attitude towards me- and I was super grateful and soon I was on my way to the wedding rehearsal party and when I returned back to my room later that evening, to my surprise I was treated like a queen with a bottle of the local wine country wine and a charcuterie board- Thank you young man for making my weekend that much less stressful- XXOO

That is a must these days. The hotel staff is friendly and knowledgeable and professional whether it's early in the morning or late at night. We found that they addressed any concerns immediately and thoughtfully. As someone who travels frequently with my family I value a clean hotel and friendly staff. I also value a good nights sleep! The beds we slept on were OUTSTANDING. I don't want to seem like I'm overstating here. The beds were extremely comfortable and my family slept well. Long car trips with an 8 year old who is well rested is a blessing. The alternative is less than ideal. The other added bonus we don't usually partake in was the breakfast offerings. We were quite surprised at the quality and the variety of food offered. Fresh pancakes made in a little pancake oven my son got quite a kick out of watching was the favorite. There was a large variety of fresh fruit, breads and cereal in addition to hot foods that varied each day. From start to finish we had an excellent stay. We would absolutely stay again. My son greatly enjoyed the indoor pool. I must say I am astonished at the number of hotels who have an outdoor pool in the Northeast. It's unusable for a great deal of the year! This hotel allows people the luxury of a swim or hot tub all year long. The small gym is also very nicely equipped. Our room was spacious with two queen beds and a table and chairs to relax and enjoy a glass of wine at. Clean bathroom with soap and shampooing, conditioner dispensers. The breakfast is complimentary and has a great selection. The pancake machine does it all for you with the wave of your hand or press of button. The coffee and yogurt machine are also high tech with customized selections that is prepared with the click of a button. Pleasant staff, quick check in and check out. There is a nice outdoor seating area that's decorative and lighting. Hotel is a quick walk to town restaurants, shops, Breweries, and Tavern.

My girlfriend and I wanted a weekend getaway in the Finger Lakes. We found this place through an…read moreonline deal, and, having never visited the wineries on Keuka Lake before, we thought we'd give it a try. I am so glad we did. The first thing I noticed when we arrived and Brenda showed us our room is how clean everything was. The amber walls and Americana decor were bright and inviting, the bathroom was absolutely spotless, and the shelves were stocked with little toiletries you could have easily forgotten to pack (e.g. Q-Tips!). Everywhere you looked were thoughtful little touches that told you this wasn't just a hotel; this was someone's home. The breakfasts amazed me. I've stayed at inns and B&Bs where you might get an apple or a pre-packaged muffin, but not here. The first day started with a fresh fruit cup, homemade chocolate chip banana muffins and cheese danish, coffee, OJ, and white grape peach juice. I thought that might be the extent of it, but then Brenda presented us with French toast (with homemade bread), sausage, and maple syrup that she and Gary made from the trees on their property. The second day was even better with light and crispy Belgian waffles and Brenda's homemade strawberry syrup. Honestly, this whole entry could be about the food, but I'd just encourage you to see for yourself. As for the location, I was worried it was a bit remote, but that was silly. You're literally minutes from so many great attractions. Drive down their road and turn right, and you'll be in Penn Yan (or one of the great breweries or wineries along the way) in no time; turn left and you'll be on the Keuka Wine trail headed to Hammondsport. There's so much to do, see, and taste, you're going to want more than a single weekend. And, if you're as lucky as we were, you'll have some great fellow travelers to chat with at breakfast as you compare notes about which places to stop at. In short, Brenda and Gary run a first rate establishment, and you should really find a way to treat yourself by staying there. Enjoy!

The location is perfect, with private off-street parking, and a short walk to the shops and restaurants on the Main Street. Take a walk down the Keuka Outlet Trail or bring your bikes for a ride around the lake. It's ten minutes to Seneca Lake, and the closest wineries are just down the road. The Trimmer House is a stunning Victorian home with beautiful sitting rooms, a large, covered front porch, and cozy bedrooms. The en suite with the clawfoot tub was a selling point for me. Bessie's Room was spectacular. It was spacious, comfortable, and the shutters made for the perfect conditions for sleeping. I've never stayed in a B&B, and the Trimmer House has set the bar incredibly high. I can't rave enough about the breakfast - the food was amazing! Quiche, tarts, fresh food, bottomless coffee. I have a hard time believing there is a better breakfast in town. Bravo to the amazing hosts for creating such a comfortable, luxury experience in Penn Yan. Worth every penny and more!
