The cake tasted fine but they charged me an EXTRA $125 for the custom frosting job that looked like it was done by a 1st grader.

Burning the top layer!

I COULDN'T RECOMMEND THEM MORE! I called at least 10 bakeries nearby asking for a "burn cake" with no success. When I reached out to the Makery they explained that they have never tried to make one, but still didn't hesitate to make my dream come true! Staying in touch, always making sure my vision was perfect! I was nervous at first but when I walked into the bakery and saw all the beautiful display creations on the shelf I knew they were going to do great ! It was ready in time and turned out even better than my reference photos! They are very detail oriented and the taste was amazing! I got the marble cake and even after a couple days in the fridge it was still moist and rich in flavor! If you have a sweet tooth and creative ideas, I highly recommend them!

We loved our cake so much! One of the fiancés is incredibly allergic to tree nuts and finding a nut free bakery is very difficult let alone a delicious one. Everyone loved the cake, and the fact that everyone could enjoy it was amazing. We had the pumpkin spice flavor with cream cheese frosting! The decor was gorgeous on the cake too :)

Tried their cake at a birthday party for my daughter's friend and it was spectacular! They also had a vanilla with strawberry filling and it was devine.

Birthday cake beyond my wildest dreamiest cake. I had an appointment from a referral from a catering company and when I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised seeing some of their amazing cakes (that I thought was not real) then greeted by the lovely staff and creating the cakes from a vision I had to perfection. The cake (3 tier) each flavor cake was tasty and fresh, the order was as easy as could be and the delivery was perfect. I would absolutely order cakes for upcoming events. Appointment 5, contacting customers 5, week of event for confirmation on cake with delivery 5. All the guests enjoyed the cake 5. Lisa M.

They made the cake for our 9/30 wedding. We just needed a cutting cake for our wedding because our venue provided deserts. We have some food allergy issues in our family and The Makery was great with all of them. They have delicious flavors to choose from and they delivered to the venue. Their wedding package is amazing! They provide a cake for the wedding, one for the honeymoon and a cake a year later for the 1st anniversary! I would highly recommend them!!

What an amazing experience!!! The staff here went above and beyond with this incredible piece for what I feel was a great price!! I could not be happier with how this turned out, & my experience with The Makery as a whole. Highly, highly recommend this company for your specialty cake needs.

I would give this place 6 Stars if possible! We came In kinda last minute for our wedding cake and I was so happy to learn we made it just in time! I'm talking less than a month people! The cake tasting process was super fun and delicious. Please come here for all your cake needs, you get so much value for your money. We received our cake for guests plus a cute little honeymoon cake that we devoured! Can't wait for our 1 year anniversary cake!! Thanks everyone at the Makery

I had ordered a cake from another bakery two months ago for my son's military commissioning reception. The baker unfortunately left the cake outside for a few seconds and the squirrels decimated it. I was devasted and didn't know what to do with less than 24 hours to our event. I called area bakers and no one could help us with such a short time frame. Someone recommended the Makery and I called them right away. Not only was the person I spoke to incredibly caring of our situation but had me speak to the manager Bobby who brainstormed of what they could do for us. Incredibly, they were able to make in various (delicious) flavors 48 cupcakes decorated in military colors in plenty of time before the reception. They truly saved the day, were incredibly kind and helpful AND made some of the best cupcakes we have ever had. Knowing that events like ours are incredibly special one wants to go to the best. I can truly recommend the Makery for incredible customer service and superior cakes/cupcakes. In the future we won't go anywhere else.

I love that they offer really good gluten free cupcakes. One day I will order one of the fancy, beautiful cakes.

I love that they offer GF options. My husband has a gluten sensitivity and it's nice that we can still enjoy a sweet treat!

Bought 18 cupcakes for my daughter's baby shower. They were good but certainly not worth the $60 I paid for them. Never again.

They have a purple Ube cake that would match the theme perfectly. Before I could get any details out or speak to the baker, they told me I needed to go online to submit a custom order. The cashier told me the smash cake would be a 4" cake and that in order for them (the bakers) to make it, I would also have to order cupcakes too. Online "All Custom orders start at $200 regardless of the size of the order." Plus the cost of cupcakes? The Ube cake is a 6" for $60 and a single cupcake was around $5? I'm all for supporting local and supporting Filipino businesses. I took the time to visit in person but it seemed very unprofessional that not one of the bakers (even seeing me as I was talking with the cashier) came to discuss the details of the order with me in person, what justifies the 3x charge for a custom order for a smaller cake and cupcakes (that I don't need).

Let's talk about these cookies because they're freaking amazing…read more Yes, they might be a little pricier than your average cookie, but hear me out: they are MASSIVE. Like, easily three cookies in one. And they're made with the highest quality ingredients you can get your hands on. And have a filling! You can literally taste the care and love Alexandra puts into her baking and nothing feels rushed or mass-produced. Every cookie is thoughtfully crafted and baked to perfection. My current favorite? The s'mores cookie. Gooey, rich, nostalgic and just chef's kiss. ‍ She rotates seasonal flavors (pumpkin, Christmas, summer... you name it) AND does cakes too. In fact, she made my birthday cake and it was a stunning and delicious chocolate cake. Oh, and did I mention her porch pop-ups every other Saturday? Croissants, scones, muffins, pastries... It's like a hidden gem bakery right on a front porch. Seriously, don't hesitate. Hire her, find her at a pop-up, or head to her porch and you'll thank yourself later.
