Met here with a couple other friends and had a comfortable seat in the lounge area. The host/bartender was very considerate and kind. We shared some food which was great and I had a glass of red wine with a generous pour. Overall a lovely experience and I would return here. Thank you!

Great drinks and great vibes! After leaving another establishment up the street, my group and ai decided to stop in and check out The Main Grape. We were instantly greeted and told to feel free to sit wherever we wanted. There were tables as well as seating at the bar. We instead decided to sit at one of the couches in the back. Not only are they beautiful, but comfortable too. We weren't really sure what we wanted to order, so we asked the bartender for his recommendations. We all tried different selections based on what his individual recommendations for us were. We enjoyed our drinks while listening to the music that really sets the chic yet casual ambiance. Highly recommend!

I can't think of anything bad. This place was open late on a Friday, they had food and wine, parking was easy to find on the street, and the servers were attentive and friendly. Our main server was Kristine and she was easy to talk to. I like how the vibe is casual and friendly. The pretzel was soft, salted and yummy. The cheese board was the perfect size for two. I think next time I will try a cocktail. it's not a huge place, but it's a cute spot to catch up with a friend or two. Check it out!

Angelo our server was amazing! We went late night an hour before closing, and kitchen was already closed, but Angelo made us an awesome cheese board! Recommended a glass of Beringer- it was so good! The place is very cozy, we sat at the very back, in front of the fireplace. There are tables in the front, couches towards the back. When you enter, the menu is on the right- near the bar sitting area- they have all kinds of drinks. Parking there is street parking, and a shared parking lot in the back. We enjoyed our time! We will be back!

Great wine bar in downtown Vacaville! They have a wide selection of reds, whites, bubbles and even dessert wine. Ambiance was great with different seating options; there were some couches in the back, a few tables, and some bar seating. All the staff were super friendly and accommodating. Their food menu had some great options, everything from charcuterie boards and other shareables to soups, salads, and flatbreads and even some desserts! I personally loved all the food options. There were plenty of sweet and savory bites to choose from that you can share with others and enjoy with your drinks. It's a great spot to unwind with some friends after a long work day or for a casual date night.

I hosted a private event at this venue, and it couldn't have gone better! Tonya and her team were amazing! Everything from off menu food, decor and atmosphere! Highly recommend for any events!

Great ambiance. They play good music at an appropriate volume. The wine options are great with attentive customer service. I love the trendy decor.

I have seen this place several times and decided to finally go see what it's about. It's a cute little place the staff was very friendly and the drinks delish. I had the sangria and a French sunrise, I recommend both. To eat we had the chicken and bacon skewers it was a little steep on price point at $16 for two but they were tasty, we also shared the bruschetta you get 4 pieces of that I would definitely recommend. All in all it was a nice outing and I will be back again.

Yummy chili in a cute cup.

I wish they had more drink selections. But it was nice and small. The waiter was only able to make a handful of drinks.

The place is beautiful BUT (and it is a big but) they need way more soft surfaces to soak up the sound. It is uncomfortably loud.

Back Door Bistro, Vacaville: 2026 Jul 10 (4.29 of 5)…read more Ladies Gathering!! The service here is a 4.5 of 5. We had different servers who attended to us and they're both friendly and looked cheerful. We got there towards the end of Happy Hour and was presented with their Happy Hour menu. The menu is small, easy to read and has almost everything we'd want for that time of day - including the drinks. The food is a 'hit' or 'miss'. Here's my review: Drinks: Both the Arnold Palmer and the Cadillac Margarita were good. My lemonade tea wasn't overly sweet and I could definitely taste the lemonade. The pitcher of Cadillac Margarita looks innocent but may give someone a slow and powerful buzz if you're not used to the drink. (4.75 of 5) Charcuterie: This a complete appetizer board. Overall, there were some hits and misses, however, we agreed this is a well thought out appetizer board. (4 of 5) Crispy Brussels Sprouts: This is the best dish here, featuring deeply caramelized, dark golden-brown edges and a nutty, earthy flavor. Their Crispy Brussels Sprouts is also the best we've had. The seasoning is on-point, allowing the texture to show off its crackling, crunchy bite on the outside, contrasted by a tender, melt-in-your-mouth interior. (5 of 5) Seasonal Tacos: "Oh WOW!" The explosion of spicy and tangy flavours balanced by contrasting textures makes this dish "pop". (4.75 of 5) Beet Salad: The colours were lovely, but this beet salad was over-salted. The vibrant dish featuring beets as the main ingredient, balances the earthy sweetness with contrasting textures and flavours. If this wasn't too salty, it would have been more refreshing. (3.75 of 5) Coconut Lime Bouillabaisse (halibut, jasmine rice, spinach, snap pea, pickled shiitake mushroom, coconut lime broth, basil oil): Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Bouillabaisse means seafood. The only seafood we noticed were chunks of halibut, which were delicious. This dish looks and tastes more like an elevated Thai soup dish that cost too much. (3.5 of 5) After walking in, we decided to sit outdoors because of the loud music that was playing. We're glad we did. The overhang on the veranda was well positioned with plants and flowers softening the cement walkway. The weather was pleasant - with a gentle breeze blowing down the corridor. Parking is easy if you arrive early enough. One last note: Back Door Bistro in Vacaville was featured on "Check, Please! Bay Area"

The rice paired perfectly with it and made every bite comforting and satisfying. The crispy chicken was another standout--golden, crunchy, and seasoned just right. It came with delicious dipping sauces, fresh cucumber, and green onions that added a nice balance to the dish. And the garlic rice was perfectly cooked with a wonderful texture and flavor. The portions were generous, everything came out looking beautiful, and you could tell the food was made with care. This is definitely a place I would come back to and recommend to anyone looking for flavorful, satisfying food. Great food, generous portions, and a really enjoyable dining experience. The place serves authentic Thai dishes and it is best to share family style if you come with several people so that you can experience more dishes. Started with a Sake "Mohito". It was very good. Mild flavor and not crazy strong. I nursed it throughout my entire meal. The Fresh Spring Rolls were as the name advertised. Vegetarian with tofu inside. Interesting thing is that it was served with two sauces, but the traditional peanut sauce but also a Thai Sweet Chili sauce. I decided to combine both sauces onto my Spring Rolls. Surprisingly, the two sauces complemented each other pretty well. The Yellow Curry was smooth and thick (not watery like some places). Rich is flavor. I can probably just eat some plain rice with just the curry sauce and I would be happy. It's that good. The Crispy Chicken with Ginger Rice was a crowd favorite as well. The chicken itself was solid but pretty standard. The ginger rice added a unique flavor to the dish. I've never had ginger rice at a restaurant before. We also had a stir fry dish that was composed of asparagus and a protein of your choice. We chose chicken. It was also solid but not as unique as the other two entrees we had. Still same cute modern interior. It was VERY busy on a Saturday evening so service may be a bit slower. But the food was great and staff was very friendly.

Someone recommended Pietro's to me not realizing that they have two different locations i went to 2 first. I was not impressed with the pizza. not bad just not my taste. this past Saturday I was talking with friends asking the question which do you prefer 1 or 2. It was about 50/50. So, I decided to try 1, realizing it is a different restaurant after having conversation. Well, the PIZZA was GREAT. I had made some request... lite sauce and for them not to cut it. (not cutting it helps the crust not to get soggy, which is great when you reheat) The flavor from the ingredients and the crust was on point. Thanks for the Pizza and accommodating my request. This will definitely be my go-to for pizza in Vacaville. I don't have a picture, ate it to quickly sharing it with my 96 yr. old landlady, before I realized I wanted to write a review. so next time. We ordered the calamari strips to start off... they were fried perfect and coated with a nice panto crust. The zing from the lemon juice kicked it up a notch. I went with the steak sandwich... the steak and juicy and tender; which the bread was nicely toasted and had a nice garlic flavor. The fries were delicious and some of the best I've had in quite some time. Wifey went with the half spaghetti half ravioli plate which she loved. The portion was so much she ended up taking hers home. This was only my second time eating at Pietro's which is wild for as many years as I've lived in Vacaville.
