Unbelievably disappointed. Noodles were way overcooked, mushy, and over expanded. The cheese was near non existent and resembled nacho cheese rather than real cheddar. Kraft Macaroni tastes better than the garbage that i received. . I just dont understnad how a resteraunt with the main dish in its name can do so poorly and charge so much. Do not buy from here!!! Note, I even bought 2 different kinds of mac. The buffalo Chicken, and the Bacon and Broccoli. Bland. So bland and flavorless i actually threw them away. We were told 10 minutes for our order, ended up being 25 minutes. Would have been worth the wait if the food as excellent. The fried pickles were barely warm. The Mac with brisket was absolutely gross. 99% fat and no meat. When I went back to the window with all the fat on a plate to show them I was immediately given an attitude and asked if I even knew what brisket was and told that it's 50% fat. Being from Texas, I know brisket. I told the gentleman I wasn't going to argue with him and just wouldn't ever eat there again. I didn't hear his snarky comment as I walked away. First time at this place. The man taking my order was super friendly and helpful. I ordered a lot of food as I tend to do when going to a new place because I want to try everything. The chicken was good. I had wings that were big and flavorful. I had thighs that were cooked perfectly and seasoned well (although I didn't know they would be boneless) I also had the smoked chicken which I really liked. The problem was the Mac and cheese. I bought two pounds of it. It looked and smelled wonderful but.....it was tasteless. To my surprise it was very cheesy but bland. I ordered the OG Mac and sliders and liked them both. The fried chicken slider was fire. It had bread and butter pickles on it which I'm usually not a fan of but it works with the fried chicken. My girlfriend ordered the dirty Mac with ground beef and the beef wasn't cooked through. It was extremely pink and had a chewy texture. 2 stars for serving something that could have got us sick and for taking twice as long to make our food then the guy told us at the window. I had been craving mac n cheese for at least a few weeks. I work pretty close to this food cart, so I thought I'd give it a try. Some of the reviews showed a longer wait time, so I made sure to go shortly after they opened at 11:00. First time, so I had to try a few things and ordered WAY too much food. The mac n cheese with pulled pork totally took care of my craving. It was so good. I also ordered the fried chicken slider - I skipped eating the bun because - again, I ordered way too much food. The fried chicken was super fresh and delicious. Finally, I ordered a size of fried dill pickles. I kind of can't stop eating them. Honestly thought it was over priced for pretty mediocre food. Dont trust the photos they post either... I ordered the buffalo chicken Mac, Caesar salad, and garlic bread from door dash, photos looked really fuckin good.... Not the case in reality. Rubbery chicken, velveeta style Mac and cheese, and fuckin Texas toast with garlic powder and some oil, and the $9 Caesar was basically 1.50 worth of Romain lettuce. When I got there I was only the second person in line and only 2 people waiting for their food to come out, so not like they were slammed or anything, but by the time I left there was about 10. Boneless fried chicken thighs are really good tasting, but spendy for quantity. Fries and mac&cheese are smothered with Cajun spice. If you like salty Cajun spice covering all your food (not spicy...just salty) then maybe you would enjoy it. We did not. Smoked chicken was also over seasoned with salty seasoning. We were only customers in line and told it would take 20 mins. Lots of call in customers came to pick up food from this food cart near FM. Our food took over 50 mins and they forgot two of our fries order. We didn't go back to get fries, since we didn't like all the salt. read more

The absolute WORST!! Ordered for my entire family to eat tonight. They literally forgot 3/4 of our meal! And when I called to ask where the rest was? Thought it would be a good idea to yell at me!! So here's the deal, I REALLY want to give them 5 stars because the food we did receive was amazing. The problem was that we ordered through UE and apparently they didn't check the order. We ended up without the burger in the burger slider and were missing an order of mac and cheese altogether. I have eaten here once before today and will never eat here again simply due to the horrific customer service I received when I went to go pick up my order for my family. I ordered my food online and it gave me 45 min to pick up my order. When I arrived the person at front said they had not even started my order and it was behind several other orders. I simply told them that I was disappointed and that I ordered online for the convenience of not having to wait. This set the person helping me on a tyrant rage and he stated that I could get my money back or wait and slammed the window closed. I stated that I would like my money back and he continued using phrases like: 1. "we don't need your business, we make a lot of money anyways" 2. "I have my own business, what do you have?" (Apparently, he was implying he was the owner!) 3. THE THREAT "If I ever see you outside this cart I will take care of you another way" I have owned several restaurants in my past and the value of losing a customer becomes exponential, so I am glad that "THE MAC" makes so much money they don't need very basic customer service skills and don't mind losing customers. We tried to place the order online, they can't accept it. We tried to call, no answer. We showed up (because it's a 20+ minute drive), order our food & paid. We had to wait TWO AND A HALF HOURS for our food!!! The ONLY reason we stayed is because we already paid!! The food wasn't bad but for two hours I literally can make the exact same thing!! Definitelyyyyy not worth a two hour wait at all! Then people who ordered theirs after us, got theirs first. It was ridiculous. They kept saying "it's coming up, two more minutes, five more minutes". He also was not wearing a mask although this is in the time of a mask mandate. I said no worries and asked to cancel the order since I needed to be somewhere. He then proceeded to get extremely rude to me and said ok whatever. When I asked if I could get some sort of confirmation of the refund he got aggressive, raised his voice and literally yelled at me that "You will get your refund in 7-10 business days" and rolled his eyes. Drove by this neighborhood spot at dinnertime and decided to finally give it a shot. First, the people working, were very nice and working hard which, is why I bumped my rating from 3 to 4 stars. However they were not wearing masks or gloves at all. This was disappointing. Also a bummer is there are no vegetarian or seafood protein options on the menu which left the pescatarian in our family eating plain mac and cheese for dinner (meh). The mac was overall fine tasing, not great, and frankly felt overpriced for what it was. Got the chicken wings and fried pickles for the rest of the group and thought the breading (same breading for both) was dry and just mediocre in flavor. The group (including kids) ate them but werent blown away. The pickles were sweet rather than sour, which wasnt really the preference in our group and the breading was twice as thick as the pickle slices. Overall, the food is good but its not something that will make you long for it. To eat a heavy meal like mac and cheese and fried chicken though, I want it to be well worth the gluttony.
