I love it that you can have your dog bathed before you pick them up. Of course your dog is always happy to see you at pickup time but my dogs have always trotted right in, no problems whatsoever. They're so friendly and made all of the pets feel comfortable and happy, even though they were getting their vaccines. Their mobile office is nice and has everything needed for a routine visit. The fact that they will come to my home is the best part. It's always a hassle trying to set my car up for a ride to the vet, and then the cleanup after is the worst. I always have at least a couple of dog hairs leftover in the carpet that just won't go into the vaccum. The way I found them was from a recommendation when I was looking for a mobile vet for my parents huge great pyranees mix that refuses to get into a car, and is much too heavy to pick up. They are such a blessing. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I was trying to avoid having to sedate my baby to be groomed after his accident. He seemed to be okay to us both so I booked an appointment for today. Dropped him off around 8am and was told to be back at noon. I told her to just cut his hair low and clean face and feet. I get back and he was fine. She said he did great. She said he was scared at first but calmed right on down. She gave him a little poodle face and ears and a little puff on his tail. It's way better than what I asked for and I'm ELATED. He looks like my baby again. Highly recommend. Five stars

After picking up our dog from their care, he came home dehydrated, extremely stressed, and had bloody stool, which he's never experienced to this degree before. He refused to eat or drink, and it was clear he hadn't been properly cared for or monitored. We understand that boarding can be stressful for some dogs, but as an animal hospital, we expected better communication and basic wellness checks--especially when a pet's behavior changes so drastically under their watch. I hope Oak View takes this as a wake-up call to improve their pet monitoring and customer communication. We won't be returning for boarding.
