The property is on the National Register of Historic Places. It's on a large piece of land, ideal for getting away from urban life and enjoying the quiet. There are only two rooms. My husband and I stayed in Laura's room, which was beautiful. Actually, the whole house looks impeccable. There are free snacks and drinks and a living room area guests can use downstairs. When we went in the summer we were woken up early by the sound of many birds singing. Then we had breakfast. We're not usually breakfast-people, but the fresh fruit and mint ( some from the garden) with yogurt, honey and preserved lemon were incredible. The hospitality of Cathy and Jack for those who stayed overnight in some of the 3 bedrooms we rented for the weekend was 5 star. The daily breakfast was prepared from scratch and was all locally sourced and prepared perfectly. Our wedding day was literally perfect and Frog Pond was a big part of the reason why.
