Swung by real quick while driving through town. Took less than 15min and is seriously the best haircut my husband has had in years.

WOW. My hair was pretty long and my regular hair person had moved out of state. As a positive the place is comfortable, definitely man foreword. Sports on the tv, complimentary pop. Upgrade to a beer for a buck. This place does clipper cuts, no scissors. While I waited for a barber I noticed the customer ahead of me had a buzz cut and the guy who came after me had a buzz cut. I have quite a bit of hair. Not Sasquatch like, however it is pretty thick. When I sat down I asked the 'stylist' if they did other cuts than super short. She laughed and said 'of course', unfortunately for me she was mistaken. I mentioned to not go too short on the top as it will stick up. She proceeded to cut the sides short and left the top long. In fact I can see now that she left some of the top uncut. The sides are not blended into the top. It truly looks TERRIBLE. I was hoping that after a shampoo it would look better, nope. This may be the worse haircut I have ever had. People I know well enough to be honest say it's pretty awful. I would not recommend this place unless you are looking for a 'pig shave'. I guess I'll have to wait a couple months and have somebody fix my hair. read more

When our home clippers were dropped and broken we were referred to The Local buzz by a friend. My husband and son have come in regularly for the last year or so. I feel like we've giving this group of ladies many chances to do great cuts but I've been disappointed every time. We've seen different ladies each time and I can't say I've left feeling totally satisfied with their work. They rush you in and out so fast that the cuts looked half finished. I do love the kids area and cars they can ride in to get a cut but I shouldn't have to fix every cut once we get home for my son or husband. Today again my husband came in (because the other guy was closed) his part is uneven, the fade was awful and I've had to spend 15 min fixing it. With as much money we've spent I should have just bought a new pair of clippers and now I will. read more

They give you a free good beer with your haircut. The super nice ladies are awesome (Except that Packers fan.) Just kidding they are all awesome. They do a great job , they have sports on the TV, they do a neck massage, straight razor shave and there is a 99% chance Kenzie will make you laugh . Easily best place in town, I come here frequently with both my daughters, the atmosphere is great, very friendly service, never have I ever had a bad experience here, today Robyn cut my hair she did exactly what I requested, she was very polite, professional, and greeted each person that came through the door with hospitality. Tiffany and the ladies at The Local Buzz are always friendly and welcoming. A free beer or soda with popcorn while you wait is a crowd favorite. I have been going for years to see Tiffany and my haircut is always fantastic! The shoulder massage is nice as well and the price, $15 + tip for men is a great deal. We came back after a couple years for nor reason other than it is the only place in town that has a Kids area. I don't know if the stylist we had a hard time with is gone, but Tiffany is incredible with kids and does a good job. The rest of the stylists who I have seen over the past 6 months all are professional and do a good job. I rescind my negative comments... well worth the trip, and the drinks included are a nice touch. read more
