I came in yesterday needing a cut for my anniversary dinner. My regular barber wasn't available and it was a last-minute booking, but I was still able to get in -- huge win. For $50, I got a clean fade, straight razor finish, and pro-level attention to detail. I usually drive an hour to Gresham for this kind of quality, but this spot saved me the trip and the gas. Totally worth it. This isn't your $10 chop shop. These guys know what they're doing -- clean blends, smooth clippers, solid products that actually smell good. Been here a couple times with my son and it seems like we are always being ignored. No greeting or ask what we need or how long the wait will be. I will never in my life go to this barber shop again. I sent my 15 and 10yr old to get hair cuts and lined up before their auditions and let me just tell you whoever did their heads are some f'd up people. Lines are not straight at all, a chunk I'd missing from my nephews forehead (they must have thought since his hairs long an puffy it would cover it but no that's messed up. The back of their heads looks like a butcher did it. I mean I could have done SO much better and I am not licensed. My sons hair is not faded up at all it's chopped up. I'm not sure how you guys get any business at all if this is how people leave your shop. Or you just thought it was some kids so you guys didn't give a crap at all cause they won't say nothing? Oh Not to mention you guys charged $50 freaking dollars for this bull are you kidding me? 50? Are you really licensed to even cut hair cause you guys can't cut hair at all or most of your clients vision is messed up. Ok so I decided to go get a cut this morning and it was all good till the guy started cutting my sideburns with a broken razor and kept going even though my neck was obviously bleeding. He cleaned it up with a paper towel and didn't say anything about it. It wasn't until I got in my car did I see what he'd done to me. The place is clean, nice and very modern. Prices for this part of town are outrageous, they are also cash only. This is not posted anywhere, and I only learned this when I handed him my card. His answer was to walk to Fred Meyer to use the ATM. These things aren't a major issue to me, though annoying, not a deal breaker. The olissues I have is a barber who doesn't listen, or perhaps doesn't understand what an undercut is. He cut half a years worth of growth and styling, disregarding my request. I may have been able to stop him, but when I said something he ignored me because he was wearing headphones. So by the time I pulled away and got his attention it was too late. He even acknowledged them saying "I don't mean to be rude with the headphones" as he put them back in. Couple that with the two kids(I'm assuming are his) who were running around and kept asking him for stuff. I have near unending patients, and I was ready to walk out due to him continually removing himself from my haircut to cater to these children. It was extremely unprofessional. In short I'm sticking to my usual barber at Gary's, he is professional, half the price, and gives an impressive haircut. If I'm going to pay these prices I'll go to thrones where I get a shot and exceptional service. read more

These guys are lazy drove 20 minutes to get here. Their business hours said they're open till 7 PM. I pulled up at 6:20 PM. I could see the guys inside cutting two people here but they're open sign was off and the door was locked. I knocked on the door and told them that I was leaving out of town and really need a haircut drove 20 minutes because they were supposed to go up until 7:00pm. And they just straight up refused me and said they had stuff to do and they had to leave. Two barbers were inside both told me they couldn't cut my hair. Seems to me like their business hours need to be adjusted or they're not accurate. read more

I called to see if they had availability for a haircut and they said it was fine to just come and 'walk in'. So I thought there wouldn't be a problem since that's what they told me over the phone. When I showed up nobody greeted me or said "we'll be right with you" or anything so I just took a seat since the "barbers" looked too "busy" to even acknowledge me or say hi even though all three of them saw me and made eye contact with me. When two of them finished cutting their client's hair they just sat down and started talking with each other while I was still waiting for them to check me in or at least let me know how long it was going to be for me to get a haircut. I waited for at least 15 minutes While they ignored me until I finally got up and asked them if they were still going to have time for another haircut but one of them said "no, we're leaving" but then the other barber said "yeah as soon as the other barber cutting hair right now is done he will be with you". So while I waited, the barber who told me to wait was just sitting down talking to someone else the whole time when he could've actually been cutting my hair. I don't understand why he couldn't have fit me in for a haircut if he had time to be sitting down taking to someone else doing nothing! So I waited in total almost 2 hours while the other barber was still cutting someone else's hair and I got tired of waiting because the barber cutting the other client's hair never gave me an ETA or even bothered saying thanks for waiting or any of that! This place is super unprofessional and unorganized! The people working there have zero customer service skills! I don't expect to be treated better than anyone else, all I expected was for them to let me know how long it was going to be instead of making me wait forever and be ignored for most of the time I was there! I would never recommend anyone going here! So I ended up leaving because they also have terrible communication! I don't know why they would tell me that it was ok to come in as a walk in and then tell me that they don't have time when I got there and then make me wait almost 2 hours for nothing! read more

We called two weeks in advance to make an appointment for hair cuts. Since we live in Hillsboro we wanted to make sure we had an appointment. We really like how they cut hair here so I was willing to make the 45 min trip. Keep in mind I talk to the barber once to set up the appointment and twice to confirm it. Every telephone conversation we had he kept asking me to make sure to tell him if I was not going to come. I know this is important to barbers because it messes up there appointments and they could have gotten other people in. So even tho I was not feeling well I drove my kids out there. Upon arrival I am told my barber is sick witch i understand things happen so I am thinking will just have to wait for some one else since we already had appointments. Nope he says double the price for me and my three children if we want hair cuts. 200 bucks and I would have to come back tomorrow. If they want people to tell them there not going to come it should go both ways. Being in Coustemer service this could have gone better in so many ways. Very disappointed read more

Well I was reluctant to try someone new and have been going to the same barber since 2009. Finally I made an appointment for my husband and the experience was awesome! The guy in the first chair (don't know his name) listened to my husband. My husband is African so his accent is strong, but when he didn't understand him he was patient and asked me for clarity. My husband is picky with who cuts his hair and has been hesitant to let ANYONE touch the front hair line because everyone wants to take it aaaaall the way back. The barber understood his fear and was able to cut him very clean and perfect. Now he spent more than normal on a full hair cut and beard but he said from now on, he doesn't mind because the service was good and the cut was great. I was even able to convince my son who is also very picky to let them cut his hair. Based on what he seen on his step-father he is willing to try! read more
