There was always an open line of communication and they responded quickly to any questions I had. They arrived early to the venue to set up and already had all of the bar supplies needed (meaning I didn't need to purchase these). Both are great bartenders with friendly, outgoing personalities. I had a lot of guests comment on how nice it was to have professional bartenders at the party vs just having coolers of beer and everyone trying to figure out how to make a mixed drink themselves. They took the party to the next level and I'm so thankful for their help. You won't be disappointed if you use them!

What really stood out for me though was their problem solving and initiative. They weren't in charge of supplies just man power. But when the ice got low I never knew it. When the whiskey was almost out I never knew. Instead of pulling me from my guests or worse yet telling people we were out they took it upon themselves to send a teammate to the store...twice...which was particularly awesome because the nearest store was 25mins away. That's amazing service and I'll definitely use them again.

Most wedding bartenders serve drinks and maybe crack a couple of jokes if you take the time to talk to them, but these guys did an outstanding job of keeping all the guests energy up and cups filled. We literally had guests come up to us and compliment us on how great the bartenders were. They really go above and beyond and one of the cool things they did was come out a few weeks before the wedding and made different cocktails for us to sample so we could see which ones we wanted served at our wedding. Just an amazing crew and all around great company. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for not just a bartender, but a crowd pleasing experience for their wedding and/or party.

After the contract was written, and 7-8 months before the wedding my daughter and her fiance tried booking a meeting with her to gather more information and try the cocktails. Courtney would not return phone calls. Finally a meeting was scheduled, but she cancelled; this happened several times. 3 weeks before the wedding Courtney tried increasing the cost and changed various things that were on the contract. It was all about the money. She was extremely unprofessional and rude. Just all around horrible person. She cancelled the contract when we asked about the increases in costs. Then refused to refund our deposit after SHE cancelled. After posting, Courtney tried saying we were not under contract - she knows very well my daughter was under contract with her and that she refused to refund the deposit. I have been told by others over the past two days who have been in the field a long time that this is a company you don't want to do business with. The five stars must be friends of Courtneys, I can't imagine anyone being happy with her attitude.

I was introduced to Charismatic Creations from following the Spice Suite on social media. The owner…read moreof the Spice Suite hosts pop ups at her store and Charismatic Creations is one of the small businesses that pops up there every so often. I made my first Charismatic Creations purchase a few months after the pandemic began and bought a cocktail making kit to make cocktails for the Jill Scott vs Erykah Badu Verzuz battle. I also purchased a couple other infusions/mixers with that order. I got that order shipped to me and despite all the craziness with USPS at the time, my order arrived quickly. Fast forward to today and the owner now has her own warehouse where she now sells her products and hosts pop ups for other small businesses as well. It's so dope! Since my birthday is in April and she created some special cocktails celebrating some April-born Queens, Selena and Billie Holiday, I KNEW I needed those drinks in my possession. The Selena drink was tequila-based and the Billie Holiday drink was gin-based. If you follow Charismatic Creations on social media, you know the owner's favorite spirit is gin which on the other hand, is not mine. However, I kept an open mind and I absolutely loved that Billie Holiday drink. Both drinks were delicious and she provided lavender rose sugar to rim my cocktail glass with. I love that this business uses fresh local ingredients in their products. This is another great black woman-owned business that I really encourage you to try and definitely follow on social media for some drink recipes and to see some beautiful drinks. You can definitely tell that the owner is passionate about what she does. I can't wait for things to get back to "normal" so I can attend one of the cocktail making classes. I believe she offers them virtually right now but I've been wanting to attend in-person since before the pandemic hit. Whether you place an order online for shipping or take that journey out to Waldorf, check it out. You won't be disappointed. Cheers! PS: This business also does bartending for events and parties as well.
