The small kitchen in the back also helps when bringing in food and Kelly (owner) will assist with food set-up and will also provide sterno cups for a small fee. Kelly was also very accommodating for the use of our music and other audio visual equipment. The hall is very spacious and allows enough room for dancing or games or other activities in the middle of the hall between the tables. We also appreciated the use of a large cooler for ice and separate table for soft drinks. Set up was pretty close to what I would have done in my own home, but with much easier clean-up. She also had access to a gentleman to assist with clean-up and a bartender. We took advantage of the help from both and it made serving and shut-down that much easier. All in all, our guests enjoyed themselves immensely and the team that planned the party was able to get all that they needed to make my niece very happy with her surprise birthday party. I would use again for a similar event! Thank you! Sharon Scott

I'll definitely be back if I'm back in the City.

It was just our group downstairs for the late dinner and the staff who took care of us were amazing. We all ordered drinks and they brought out complimentary biscuits that were piping hot and fresh. The Engineer's Club is located in the Garrett-Jacobs Mansion in Mount Vernon. It's the city's oldest private social club, but it hosts events and weddings in addition to serving its membership functions. It was an absolutely stunning venue for an opera. The staircase, the wood, the stage...! If you love architecture, you just have to see it for yourself (may in combination with that other gorgeous building just down the street - you know the one!). Definitely adding it to my list of Baltimore's most beautiful buildings. If you have a chance, don't hesitate to visit for a performance or event. I know I'll be back for another opera next season. They also offer tours, which I am adding to my must do in Baltimore list!

It has been a great experience…read moreso far, both in office ambiance, location, perks and the price for a space is comparable to other co-working spaces in Baltimore. The office space itself is in the third floor of a renovated row home, which has been upgraded and revamped to have a modern feel. Inside, there are 7 half walled cube spaces with ample room in each space to set up your desk area as you see fit. It has all your basic office amenities like coffee, water, fridge, and full bathroom. In addition, you can be as collaborative or as heads down as you need during the day with the other workers in the office space. In general, the office is also pretty quiet except for the occasional train that passes by outside the window, but that's not a big deal. I think the biggest perk is the location. Nestled near many nice Baltimore neighborhoods like Charles Village, Remington, and Hampden, you'll find ample options for coffee, lunch, happy hour and dining out. If I had to nitpick, the only tricky aspect or working here is parking. There are no assigned spaces in the back lot for Exchange employees, so we have to park on the street, usually on 25th street right around the corner, or on St. Paul street out front, if you're lucky. I usually find parking a little more difficult when school is in session. There's an elementary school on the adjacent block so those spots on the street fill up pretty quick. While it's not deal breaker, it's something to keep in mind. Lastly, if you're on the fence about signing up, contact the owner/manager Eve Austin. She's the nicest person to deal with and can give you a tour of the space at your convenience and can accommodate almost any request.

The sense of community throughout the whole building is also a plus, considering there are happy hours every first Thursday of the month and the occasional barbecue on the outside patio.
