Found myself in the Letlove Inn on a Sunday night to hear my wife's cousin's band perform. This is a typical NYC dive bar. They have a limited beer menu and the usual whiskeys. The interior is dark so I needed a flashlight to read the drink menu. The place was fairly busy on a Sunday evening. The sound was good and the lighting was adequate for music. The music was very good and they have live music often. Just remember it's drinks only, no food so eat before you go. There are plenty of restaurants in the area.

Very cute & fun bar! We came in for a drink after dinner and we ordered the Dog Chasing Tail and Caravan! If you like date infused bourbon, I would definitely recommend the Caravan. Its presentation is pretty and strong, just the way a crafted cocktail should be. Our bartender had a sense of humor, I liked him. I would come back again to try their other craft cocktails :)

I really liked this place! Friendly, funky and just fun!! The bartender was also an awesome guy!!!

Don't come here. Don't spoil it for the rest of us. You hear me talking to you? Old-school. No TV screens. Good conversation. New York.

I completely forgot how to play darts! It was fun to throw sharp items at a wall I won't lie about that. I appreciate how the noise level is chill. Free darts is always fun. They have karokee at this location which looks like one. Its a good spot to come with a group. I definitely recommend this place to you if youre around. There wasn't any food here, too bad. ::::bathroom alert:: Pleased that the bathroom was clean. See myself coming here in the summer months and it isnt far from the trainstation. Too bad they didnt have a pool table at this location! They also let you play your own music too! I love that too.

I did not really like this bar. I came here for Monday Night Darts, and even though I had fun with…read moremy friends, I was not impressed with the bar itself at all. When I walked in, the bartender was conversing with a woman at the end of the bar, and it wasn't until about five (5) minutes after I sat down that she asked me what I wanted to drink. Sadly, this would remain a theme throughout the night. Every time one of my friends or I wanted a drink, we had to interrupt the bartender from her conversation with one of the patrons, and getting any kind of drink took a few minutes and was always a chore. This bar is called "The Local Bar," and it definitely lived up to that name... just not in a good way. I really don't like saying things like this about people, but another patron walked in, and it was clear that he was a regular, as he knew the bartender by name, as well as some of the other patrons. Well, this patron was so loud and obnoxious that I had to put my headphones on. Who wants to go to a bar and wear headphones? Not me. But he was so unbelievably annoying that I had to do it. In addition, somebody brought their dog into the bar, and while I love dogs, this one kept barking, and every time it did so it would startle somebody in the bar. I understand bringing your dog if they're well-behaved, but if they're not, you shouldn't expect everybody else to put up with that. With that being said, the bar did have a great darts set-up, and a really cool outdoor patio. I'll probably be back for another darts night, but other than that, I won't be coming back, and wouldn't really recommend it.

This bar is so unassuming in Queens hidden between a neighborhood of homes. The interior is…read moreelevated, intimate, and posh that it feels like something you'd find in Manhattan. I had the De Tijel Cocktail ($22) while the husband had the Old Fashioned ($20). The bartender described mine as an elevated and slightly sweeter Old Fashioned with that smokiness, which was quite similar. I appreciate the little details from the handwoven coaster to the patterned orange peel. Great spot for a fancy cocktail or date night as they also offer tables in the back and a food menu.

You'll forget that you're in Queens and feel like you're in Soho here, but without the pretentious attitudes. Service here was accommodating and friendly, and the prices were shockingly reasonable for the complexity of cocktails offered here. I had two of the Remy Style martini which were so fresh, delicious and fruity. The pineapple syrup in here definitely hit without it being too sweet. I saw that they had some small bites here but we were headed elsewhere for dinner. A solid spot to catch up with a friend or to impress a date, for sure. I really hope that this place sticks around!

However, I got on Yelp, again, and this place was nearby. I entered and nobody else was there-- I was waiting for two friends but grabbed a seat at the bar. I was immediately greeted and ordered angry Orchard. The bar was spacious and was fully decked out for Halloween. A few hours later, the place was duly packed and music was blasting. The only negative was the bar chairs weren't the most comfortable but we moved tot a table seat, which was much comfortable. My Giants lost-- but I did enjoy myself here.

I noticed that a drink had been spilled on the floor. The venue was quite crowded, with people dancing, and a large section of the floor was wet, creating a potential safety hazard. I politely brought it to the bartender's attention, but her dismissive response made it clear that she had little concern and did not consider it her responsibility. Unfortunately, no one came to clean up the spill. As the night went on, I noticed several other spilled drinks that were also left unattended. This was extremely disappointing and concerning, especially in such a crowded environment. A wet, slippery dance floor is an accident waiting to happen. Between the lack of attention to basic cleanliness and safety and the bartender's unprofessional attitude, the experience left a lot to be desired.
