They've cared for my daughter since she was an infant, and thanks to their incredible teachers and curriculum, she's now starting at University School (NSU) in PK1! If I could give 10 stars I would! My daughter has been attending this center for 3 years. the teachers and staff definitely go above and beyond to make sure my little one continues to excel! She has learned so much from the teachers and ciriculum they have in place for each stage. Ms. Cat the director takes the time to get to know the kids and parents. She is always quick to address concerns or provide updates about your childs progress. The staff overall keeps me at ease with the bubble and friends app that shows what the kids were up to for the day. Please DO NOT send your child to this daycare! Worse thing I ever did was give this daycare a chance! My son got bit on a Thursday and the school didn't notify me until a Monday and by this point he broke out with hand foot and mouth. My son got pushed by another child who is knows for behavior problems and the school kept this child in the school and lied and said they would have an extra teacher in the classroom monitoring the kid with problems. I showed up to the school several times unannounced and there was no additional teacher in this room. There was a child that was known for biting in my sons class and he bit my son and the school kept the child at the school even though the had bit several kids and they have a bite policy. This daycare is short staffed and they refuse the communicate with the parents and let us know. So when you drop your child off you'll see 14 kids and 1 teacher. So short staff that the director has to step in and help. Not to mention that this daycare has no cook and the teacher and directors don't care so they serve the kids cold corn, shredded cheese and fajita bread and call it a quesadilla or bread and broccoli. Imagine paying a daycare $1000 a month and this is what they are feeding your child and then they have the audacity to say that they are raising the price by 8% because the cost of food is going up. So short staffed that my son was left in the same soggy diaper from 7:30 AM to 4:30 when I picked him up. Save yourself the heartache and stress and send your child else where. read more

My son has a dairy allergy. He was a student of the Learning Experience - Sunrise from the middle of October 2018 until the middle of February 2019. The issues began near January when he was moved from the 1 year old room to the 2 year old room. The teachers in the 1 year old room were incredibly nice and often referred to my son as "the sweetest child ever" and "the mayor" since he would smile and wave at anybody who would pass him in the hallway or enter his classroom. When my son was picked up on January 23rd around 5:30pm, his entire body was covered in a dark red rash, and his eyes were almost completely shut. My poor son was throwing up before we even reached the car and from the condition of his shirt that day, it didn't look like the first time. No phone call was made from The Learning Experience - Sunrise to myself or any family member to give us an update about this reaction. When we asked his teacher and the Learning Experience's director (Elizabeth) what did he eat and why weren't we notified, we were only given a "Opps, sorry, he must have eaten someone else's food." Then the director walked away while we were still speaking because there was something 'more important' going on in the Learning Experience - Sunrise than addressing negligence from her facility and staff, as she'll do multiple times throughout this journey. The company prides itself on their mobile application that sends pictures and updates of what is going on with their child that day. They usually start from the time the child is dropped off and updated almost every hour until your child picked up in the evening. We usually receive our last update and picture around 4:45pm. On this day? Our last update was received at 2:40pm. This shows me that the Learning Experience - Sunrise had already noticed this allergic reaction and didn't want to send us any bad updates. Maybe they were expecting it to get better before we arrived? As parents, we get it, sometimes our children will get into somethings they weren't supposed to and accidents happen. We expected this to be a one-time incident, got my son treated properly and called it a night. You would think after this set of events that the Learning Experience - Sunrise would be more diligent in making sure my child did not consume any dairy products, right? Wrong. The very next day, we get an update that that our son is eating a cheese quesadilla (provided by the Learning Experience - Sunrise). Understandably, we're now a little more furious since we just had the same exact issue the day before. We call the Learning Experience - Sunrise and ask to speak to the teacher to remind them to do not feed my son any dairy then was transferred to the director. Instead of being apologetic and re-assuring us that she will make sure that it will never happen again, she starts lambasting us about our "problem child" and how he "is constantly biting and probably just keeps taking other children's lunch." Well, this was news to us considering until we had the confrontation about the allergies, we've only received great feedback from his teachers and other staff members throughout the this school. On 02/12, we spoke with my son's teacher and asked about his behavior. She told us "XXXX is great. He behaves just like every other child in the class room." When we told her about our recent interactions with the director, she was dumbfounded and responded with "don't worry about it, XXXX is just a regular 2 year old". The ending of this story comes on 02/14. Shortly around noon, Elizabeth called and asked could my son eat pizza for their Valentine's Day party. "No, he cannot eat pizza". After re-iterating the dairy allergy once more, we were told it was understood that he would not have any pizza. Within an hour later, Elizabeth calls again and starts telling us about "XXXX is out of control and is biting everyone! We are going to have to put an end to this behavior or we are going to dis-enroll him from the school. You need to come pick him up." A little before arriving at the school, we receive another call that my son is now vomiting and we need to hurry to pick him up. When we got to the facility, we find my son actively vomiting and parts of his arms starting to form a rash. After asking "What did he eat?", we were told "We gave him pizza but removed the cheese." How much incompetence goes through the Learning Experience - Sunrise where you just asked a parent if their child can eat a certain food, you tell them no, but they still give it to the child, then try to rationalize their own incompetence. Instead of accepting responsibility, the director informs us that my son is now dis-enrolled and that we owe for an extra two weeks due to "company policy". If your child has any special needs or allergies, I cannot stress enough to avoid this place. Once any extra work or attention is required for your child, they will quickly make things up and try to dis-enroll your child. read more

My daughter, Emily goes here for VPK, and she has learned so much! She's already starting to read, add, and subtract. The teachers here are very good and Ms. Jeni, the new director is very sweet and kind, she always helps me when I call with any questions. As per the other reviews on google, yes many teachers have left, but that's no fault to the daycare, that's the fault of the teachers abandoning their job during the school year. Even with the hiccups of teachers leaving, the school strives to not let that interfere with the children's learning. TLE is the cleanest daycare I've ever been to, the security in place to protect our children is amazing. They also have an app that they post pics of your child throughout the day on, you can also chat with them on it if you need anything, and they give you updates on future events happening, I highly recommend this school!! read more

This is the worst place to bring your child. The teachers change so much. The director and assistant director are so unprofessional. I tried multiple times with this staff and school. I even emailed the corporate office. I had so many concerns that wouldn't be addressed. Some of the concerns are the hitting from other students, events not being given advance notice, teacher changes and no parent communication, the food is horrible, and the staff that are still there are miserable. The location is beautiful but don't let that fool you. It is not a friendly place if you have concerns. I have been researching schools for my son to start , he just turned 1 and my husband and i were very picky on selecting a school , due to covid as well as putting him in a daycare with a great curriculum and structure . We went to the learning exp in Sunrise for a tour and was BLOWN AWAY by Ms. Nikki and the extremely in depth tour she gave us . There was no comparison to the other daycare tours we took and knew TLE was the right place for our son . Despite previously reviews that shine a not so great light on this location , i would highly recommend giving them another chance . I cannot speak more highly of this school , and Ms. Nikki in particular, she is this locations director and you can tell she has a passion for what she does. read more

Switching to The Learning Experience was on of the best decision I could have made for my son's early education and care. Not only is the school beautifully decorated,the school has there own STEM curriculum for early learning, summer camp, and highly professional staff. Not only is my son excited to go to school but he is eager to learn from his teacher Mrs. Alicia. Mrs. Alicia is very pleasant and enthusiastic about what she does and all the students love her! I can truly say she has a passion for teaching and preparing for her students for the future. My son has learned so much in just one year from sight words,writing, and math! My daughter is my first child and I was so worry about enrolling her at a daycare because I didn't know if she would adapt. I must say that TLE Sunrise was the best choice I have made for her . Just started my 2 and 4 year old here about a month ago and have been so pleased with TLE Sunrise. I am obsessed with their app that sends me pictures of the kids throughout their day. It allows me to enjoy them even when they are in the care of others. Both kids are happy and in great spirits at pickup that I know they had an awesome day. My one and only critique would be in regards to the clerical side of things. When I paid for the registration for my kids I used one form of payment, and then submitted a different form of payment for their tuition. They keep withdrawing funds from the original method, which just requires me to stay on top of my accounts. I recommend them highly!! read more

This "learning center" and first day care experience for my son was by far worst than we could have ever imagined bad could be. We were so excited about starting my son at this brand new, spanking clean, beautiful school but we learned yet again in life, what you see is not always what you get. We started him in January and were given no orientation to the class schedule. We didn't feel welcomed to stay in the classroom to settle our son in on his first day. On day one, we were told that they were going to be transitioning our 10 month old son's schedule to 1 nap at 12:30 instead of the 2 naps he was taking prior to starting there. As first time parents, we trusted they knew what they were talking about and were giving us the right advice to get him ready for the toddler room. We still thought it was quite harsh to change a small baby's schedule in that way and keep him awake when he was clearly tired (I got pictures of him that broke my heart to look at knowing that he was exhausted, and upset due to the new place). We took the advice and continued to try pushing him for 1 nap instead of 2 on the weekend (was not easy) after 3 days at the day care. Then, on Monday morning I dropped off my son caught them out of ratio for teachers to babies as my son was the 5th baby to arrive that morning. I stayed to wait and see when the other teacher would arrive but instead 3 other parents dropped off their babies (I honestly don't understand how they could leave their kids with 1 teacher and 8 babies). I told the teacher that my son needed a diaper change and she told me that she doesn't usually change them until after their morning snack. I changed him instead as he a poo'd. I stayed helping the teacher to receive babies and continued to wait for another teacher to come in the room and there was no one...the owner or the director did not come in, nor did any other teacher come in until 25 minutes had passed. Finally then the other teacher arrived (she was stuck in traffic but that is no excuse). I expressed my dissatisfaction with what happened I then began to tell them (owners and the director) about the other issues I was having. The director told me that she was surprised the teachers had said that they were going to change my son's schedule to 1 nap as he is so young. She said she would speak to them and get back to me. When she did, the teachers told her they had never told us that we needed to change our son's schedule...they made us look like a liers. Even still I gave them all the benefit of the doubt, forgave them and tried to make a fresh start. Both of the teachers, when I confronted them to say that we should just move on and start all over again, did not apologize to me. Instead I got a call mid-morning to tell me my son had a "fever". I went to pick him up and he was cold to my touch. His 'fever' could not have gone down that quickly! I let all of the ladies there know that I did not believe my son had a fever. I felt we were not welcomed there because of all that had happened so the next morning we disenrolled our son from the school and I let them know the way they treated my son and the whole situation was terrible. I strongly suggest parents be very diligent with the care of the kids at this school. All they care about is filling their rooms and not the care of the kids. read more

The convenience to management is more important than the needs and well-being of the children. If your child has special dietary or health needs, this might be the place for you if you like a sense of adventure. And by that i mean if you like not being sure if the staff will continue to allow your child to have access to things they are allergic to. Russian roulette with the safety of your children! If that weren't bad enough, they feel the need to kick your problem child 2 year old nephew out for being too inconsiderate to stop having dairy allergies. Because clearly they are faking it when they break out In hives, vomit profusely, and swell up all over when the instructors insist on not listening to the requests from parents. Moral of the story, if you're one of those difficult people who like you have the piece of mind to know that your child is safe, this is not the school for you and your children. My son has been attending TLC for a little over a year now and since corporate has taken it back I can not tell you all the great changes that have occured.
