The guy has always asked if I want it to burn just today, or tomorrow too, and they'll crank up the heat accordingly. Tonight however, they convinced me to try the Surf & Turf roll and oh brother...outstanding! This one has loads of lobster AND brisket, delivering a knockout in flavor. Even at a hefty $32 for a roll and chips, I wasn't mad about it. This is a much larger roll than other lobster trucks out there and is seriously packed with meat and then loaded with toppings. These guys don't skimp on food or flavor. Plus, the dudes running the truck are funny and certainly give good advice on what to try. This one is a can't miss for me whenever I see them roll into town (which is pretty rare where I am). However...if you have little kids...maybe just send mom or dad up to order, as it can get spicy (just like the roll) sometimes.

I parked my car and walked over to the food truck, and I was lucky to literally be next in line. I ordered the recommended lobster roll from the fine gentlemen that was doing the serving. I also ordered a water because it was rather warm. I gathered my lunch walked over to a picnic table, nearby and sat down to eat. My first bite into the sandwich or roll as they label them was literally a shock to my memory, it took me back to being in Maine many years ago and getting a lobster roll at a restaurant. Now I know my memory is not what it used to be, but I can honestly say this was a freaking delicious lobster roll. I ate the entire roll, wiped my face with a napkin at the table. And went up and told the server behind the counter how good the food was and that I can't wait to literally find them close by again. I will admit, I did not eat all the potato chips, because I didn't need them, but they were also good. I just read on Facebook where they're going to be in Westchester on July 20 now I need to find out where because that's literally five minutes from my house. I truly cannot wait to order another lobster roll or two. If you've never eaten at this food truck, I highly recommend it. On the day I purchased my role. It was $29 which a lot of people might think is a lot of money literally for a sandwich, but I will tell you this it is truly worth it.

It's one of my absolute favorite trucks in Columbus. They offer a plethora of different dogs with a large array of unique and thoughtful toppings that cater to all kinds of palettes and even some really accessible ones for your more stunted and boring friends/co-workers. My absolute favorite is the Hounddog. It's a hotdog with peanut butter and a BACON JAM!! If my circulatory system were made of steel, I would probably eat this most of the time. The flavor profile on this thing is brilliant and it just tastes really really good! Some others worth mentioning are the Coal Miner, the Chili Mac, the Hawaii Fido, and the BLT. The Angry Wiener also has some of the best fries I've ever had off a food truck. The fries are thick cut, beer-battered, and seasoned. I cannot eat them fast enough and I have even gone back to get more before. I'm just a person. I can understand why it's easy for people to compare Angry to Dirty Frank's but as a junk food expert, I have to say the Angry Wiener is waaay better! #1: New England-style buns buttered and grilled! It elevates the texture and flavor way more than a soggy-butt poppy seed bun. Gross. I mean, HELLO?? #2: Price and consistency. I've had several hit and miss experiences at D. Frank's but never from Angry. Also the basic dogs at Dirty Frank's may be $3.00 a piece (average on angry is $3.75) but after sides, drinks, and a tip I've spent almost $20 and I never spend more than $10 at Angry, including a tip. It's way cheaper than most other food trucks out there. Also, they're better, so who cares? #3: They are ridiculously fast!! I never have to wait, unless it's at Dublin Irish fest or something but it's still faster than everything else. If you don't like hotdogs, stay away! BUT- if you like a good wiener as much as I do, do yourself a favor and find the Angry Wiener. I've never been disappointed! The service is SO fast and OH SO friendly!!! It is truly a pleasure to give them my money.

When we got the dogs I was not impressed by the lack of toppings. For the price we paid they should have been loaded up with toppings falling all over the place. Neither the Hawaii Fido nor the Classic hot dogs were that impressive and the price keeps coming up in my mind that we overpaid for these glorified hot dogs.

I'm always quite skeptical when it comes to bbq places. Ive had many bad experiences. When i saw this food truck right off of st rt 37 I just had a good feeling about it. The owner, Jimmy, was the nicest guy right of the rip and it was easy to tell that he knew a thing or 234234 about TRUE AUTHENTIC Memphis BBQ. I tried the Brisket, Pulled Pork, Mac n Cheese, beans, and slaw. Everything was perfect. The brisket was cut into thick slices and it was so juicy and the crisp on the bark with the smoky flavors was insanely delicious. The pulled pork was hand pulled and seasoned to perfection. They came on sandwich as part of the "World Famous Meal Deal" and it was a MONSTER of a sandwich. Pulled Pork and Brisket piled as high as the plate could handle. The sides were even better than expected and accompanied the bbq to perfection. I work in the area and this is going to be my new place to go for food. I just gotta throw this out there as well. The sandwich came out on a toasted brioche bun with the logo branded on it. The sandwich had a fair amount of pork on it but part was warm and part cold. It was chopped up well and had a nice smoky flavor to it. The Mac and cheese was a thicker style but needed a little more flavor to it. Baked beans had a more neutral flavor to them, they added a fair amount of pepper to them to help with flavor. Not bad at all. They were out of cornbread which being open just a couple of hours is unacceptable. I will give them a pass for this visit as they are obviously just getting on their feet. Hopefully it gets better.
