I asked her if she could give me 10 more minutes to fold my laundry so it didn't wrinkle on the way home and she said "No! Out! Now! I'm ready to go home!" so I grabbed my laundry and as I was putting it in my car, her husband asked if I could help him out with jumping his car battery and I said I would, but unfortunately my clothes are going to wrinkle if I don't get home and fold them. A little kindness would have gone a long way! If the laundromat closes at 11, they should have that posted!

The location is convenient enough for me to drive myself and spend about an hour here doing some chores. Parking is abundant and I never had to wait for a machine as there are plenty. One large suggestion I can make is to have plenty of quarters with you (go to a bank and get a roll of quarters if you have to). There are some reviews mentioning bills and/or quarters being eaten up in the change machines. One of the dryers ate a quarter of mine and I promptly moved to a working one. Drop the quarters in slowly and one at a time to avoid losing $. Aside from that, my clothes were returned in a very clean and dry state. They have boxed detergent and dryer sheets in the vending machine. Costs for the smallest two load machine is $4.50 and dryers are $1.50 for 30 mins of drying time. They also do wash and fold but it requires scheduling in advanced. They have a restroom here as well.

I had them redo the sweater and pillow cover and just took the dress. When I picked the items up today, they had WASHED the 100% dry clean only pillow cover! It is a ruined, wrinkled, falling apart mess! And they just handed to me as if nothing was wrong. What kind of dry cleaner washes something that is labeled dry clean only? I could have ruined it myself for free! Also the sweater was still stained. Needless to say I will never go back and should have learned my less before this happene.

I found the card system they use to be very user friendly with clear instructions. And I've seen many regulars are happy to lend a helping hand if anyone gets confused. I have only ever seen one rolling cart to be used, and the chairs are few so if you come at a busy time, or in a weekend don't expect to find either available. The large washers are $11/cycle and can easily handle two larger loads together so I end up combining towels & rugs with my darks. The large dryers are $2/cycle but they don't dry larger loads with one cycle. I have found its more effective to split my larger loads into two dryers. I have been twice so far and have been pleased with Adamstone Local Laundry - I'll be back!
