Great customer service. This was my first visit. I was warmly greeted. I had 2 king size blankets…read moreand 5 heavy throw rugs that had never been washed. The lady helped me decide which and what size washers to use. Then she helped me set the temp and rinse selection, finishing with using my credit card. I really like using my cc and not having to mess with change to feed into the machines. I noted the time and returned to do the drying. The owner greeted me and helped me decide which dryers to use for my heavy loads. She helped me decide how much time and temperature I needed as I was not familiar with the machines. I returned after about 1/2 hr. Everything was complete and clean and dry. The premises was clean and I saw the owner cleaning up the machines and removing the lint. I will be returning when I need to clean my blankets and throw rugs (I have washer/dryer at home for our clothes). I definitely recommend this business. In the past I've been to other places and this business is first rate.

But Parkade is bright, clean, comfortable, and most of the machines are working most of the time. The staff there are helpful, very friendly, and professional. Sal, the older Italian guy who's always there, will instantly become your best friend and talk your ear off. I have a washer and dryer at home for doing the routine stuff, but I bring my big stuff like bedding and towels, and really stinky stuff like my dog's blankets, because the industrial machines just get things cleaner quicker. I've never been disappointed with either the results, the experience here, or the setting. If ya gotta do laundry in a laundromat, this is about the nicest place you'll find in the greater Manchester area.

They got it perfectly cleaned, deodorized and it stayed that way too. No slow creeping stank. It stayed nice and fresh. They're not cheap but they're not expensive. I believe they use a greener, more humane and less toxic cleaning method. I know my clothes do not return reeking of cleaning fluid. Big plus is they're really lovely people.

Most disappointingly, when I dropped off and picked up, both staff members were not wearing a mask when I walked in. Mind you, it's also a laundry mat so people were inside. When I got to the desk, they pulled it up, under their nose. The woman was folding clothes very nicely on the counter I was at. No mask, no gloves, didn't see her wipe anything before she serviced me or went back to clothes. No plexiglass or divider either. I'd be livid if my clean clothes were folded on the public cash register counter with no safety precautions. I'll be leaving my blanket in it's bag for a few days. I will not return and tell friends to go elsewhere. Very disappointed, especially for the price.
