The laundromat at my condo thankfully switched to the use of credit card a year ago, and I can't imagine going back to coins. Some of the machines appear newer too. There were two men walking around greeting people and sweeping the whole time I was here. I watched both of them hold doors for people as they went out and came in with their clothing. A woman came in with a very large rug and one of them helped her load it into the appropriate machine. They have extractors here, which I wish I would have used before putting my comforter in the dryer, but I wasn't sure about it. ‍ when I asked after it had gone through one cycle if I should pull it out of the dryer and put it in the extractor, the gentleman told me he thought at this point, it probably just needed more time. And proceeded to load the dryer with a dollar of not my money. While waiting for it he continued to check on me "one more?" :) It was very sweet. I don't think I've ever been spoken to at a laundromat before. This was a great experience. I will be back here when I have larger things to do.
