    Front of building, great location

Good amount of parking with overflow if needed. Plenty of machines, both wash and dry. I hadn't been to a laundromat in a few years but needed to wash my huge comforter which flooded my machine at home last time I tried. This was a great solution! I could fit my comforter and plenty more if I needed to. A wash was $8.75 and dry was $3 -- you must pay in coins. You can convert your bills or tap your card for coins on a machine they have in the wall. You can also buy soap and dryer sheets if needed (I brought my own to save some cash). When I put a $10 bill in, I got some quarters and some $1 coins only meant for the laundromat, so be sure that you're only changing your bills to the amount you need, otherwise you may be left with extra coins that you can only use there. Timing wise, wash was about 30 min and a dry was about 36 min. I sat in a metal chair and brought my computer to do some work -- there's a 3 prong wall socket to the right of the door, by some tables meant for folding and a picnic-type table. There are about 3 round picnic-type tables and also a few of the folding tables, which are nice. You can also find plenty of rolling baskets to help you move your laundry around. Btw- wifi pw is "megawave", it's listed on the desk next to the coin change machine. This location is great because there's a gas station right next to it, I went over and got some snacks and gum. If you came early, you could go get coffee and a donut to help your chores go by faster. I'll be back to wash my comforter again.

BROKEN MACHINE THAT WOULD'NT LET ME GET MY CLOTHES OUT WITHOUT FINDING THE ELECTRICAL PANEL TO SHUT OFF THE POWER- ridiculous !!

I was travelling from the west coast to my home state and needed to do laundry. I looked on Yelp and saw that this place had damn near 5 stars. It looked clean and not too many people were in there at the time. I put my clothes in 3 machines. ( expensive ! ) i put $20 in the change machine to get quarters. Out of the machine rolled exactly 4 quarters ace the rest looked like play money that you get like at a Chuck E. Cheese's or something like that. On the coin was written the name of the laundromat. Ok whatever... i didn't care because i wasn't there for quarters. I just wanted to do laundry. So i put in the quarters first and then i put in the fake laundry coins after. The machine then had a flashing 25 on it which meant i needed to add another 25 cents to it. I was annoyed that i had an excess of the fake coins but STILL needed to put more money in to get one quarter. Or maybe I'd have to go across the street to the cafe to get a sister in case they're machine didn't find me enough quarters in the fake money mix. But I'm thinking: WHY do they give s mix of quarters AND fake coins ??? Well lucky for me i found s quarter in my jacket pocket. Let's move on... so after the laundry cycle is over u tried to open the machine and the cycle was clearly over but i couldn't get my clothes out... the machine was holding my clothes hostage ! I looked for a number to call all OVER the place and Bo number was conspicuously posted. Lucky for me I'm talking out loud saying I'm gonna go to my car to try to look for a tool to get the door open so I can get my clothes out. So some guy cones over and tells me that the way to get the machine opened is to find the electric panels and shut the power off in the laundromat and then wait 10 seconds for the door to open. I was just here to do laundry not to possibly get electrocuted by touching their electric panel. Finally after a couple of tries of this not working it finally works. A couple of gallons of dirty water come flying out the machine forming a HUGE PUDDLE on the floor. My clothes are DRIPPING WET so I start trying to wring them out by hand. Imagine wringing out King sized sheets and towels etc. I was too through with this crappy place. I find a number written in size 2 font size on a little sign they have. I call and the guy is totally UNHELPFUL. He's screaming at me telling me that he can see me wringing out my clothes on the floor. Like how dare you do that ? Ummm so where would you like me to wring out my king sized sheets ? In the tiny crusty looking sink ? I was so upset. I was forced to stick with this crappy place in order to use the fake money they gave me that would be useless anywhere else. I put the fake coins in and it seems the guy / laundry manager who was watching me on security the camera yet refusing to help me had shut the driers off because none of the driers would work with the fake money or quarters or nothing ! What a nightmare ! I ended up having to take my laundry to another place across town to re-wash and dry my laundry. A clean and nice place with real quarters and clean functioning machines ! Hallelujah ! P.S.1- I called 911 to find out where to file a complaint in this great city and the officer gave me a police report which i will surely take to court. Why waste my time ? Because in this age of inflation and soaring prices businesses need to truly treat customers fairly and with respect. I got stuck with fake money i could use nowhere else. ( Maybe I'll save some poor soul from the awful experience I had here at Coin Wave. I would be lying if i recommended anyone to waste their time coming here. The worst part is being stuck with the fake useless money in a time when everything is so darn expensive. Couldn't even get my money back ! )

Dryers spin but don't dry. Also, several are always out of order.. Come on what the heck!

Great variety of sizes of both washers and dryers. Make sure you check the basket images on each machine to know how much you'll need. I used the second to largest which cost $8 and probably could have gone a size down. Also be sure to look at your tokens before using - I got two $1 coins

10 dryers that can fit 3 laundry baskets for only $1.50

This place has everything you need. There are so many machines you can choose from varying in sizes, and the place is just clean in general. There is a bathroom, ample parking outside, and 2 coin dispensers that are easy to operate with either bills or a credit card. I love this place because I can bring my huge comforters and wash them here for a decent price. Also, you can use multiple machines and get your job done quicker.

Best place in west or southwest suburbs to do laundry. Spacious, clean, free wifi, & friendly staff. I came back again even after my washer was fixed in order to do bulky items.

This place is an absolute dive, BUT there are some really positive features:…read more 1) This place takes quarters, and dispenses quarters. Even when I'm not doing laundry here, it's my go-to source for quarters when the banks are closed. The machine is older than God, so if your "new" bills don't work, the DQ across the parking lot is accustomed to exchanging new bills for old ones. 2) It's freakin' cheap. I can do 10 loads of standard laundry in their larger machines for about $18.00 - the same laundry would cost me $30.00 at my apartment building! The dryers are only $0.25 for 12 minutes (not 10) and I've never had to wait for one. 3) If you lose money in the machine, you just fill out the slips they leave out and the owners actually mail you the cash - even if the postage stamp costs more than the refund! It might take a month or two, but they ALWAYS mail it to you. 4) Weeknights are a real dead zone there, and the place is so unattractive that you're guaranteed as many machines as you want. Bring a book, grab a Blizzard, listen to your iPod and enjoy the fact that no one is gathered around a TV with bad reception watching a game you don't give a rip about and feeding their children Happy Meals on the folding tables! This place may look like a dump, but it's exactly the kind of secret I like to keep for myself. Mega Wash (with it's stupid tolkens and stupid minimum-charge dryers and obnoxious clientele) have nothing on Speedy Wash. ;-)

I did some spring cleaning this weekend including laundering my bedding, so I stopped by the…read morelaundromat to use the commercial size washers and dryers. It got the job done, but I didn't enjoy my hour long experience there. The place is dingy, and while it doesn't actually look dirty, it feels dirty. Plenty of machines and supplies, but no TV, no tables to sit at and do work. Just an uncomfortable bench and a couple chairs. I don't miss the college days where I had to lug my stuff to a laundromat and quarters were more valuable than dollar bills, but this place did make me long for the facility I used to frequent with many TVs, tables to study at or play cards with friends...if only they had a treadmill to get a little workout in! Pertinent details: They are open 7 days a week from 6:30am - 9:30pm. Regular sized washers are $1.25/load, and the two bigger sized machines are anywhere from $2-$3/load. Dryer is 25 cents for every 10 minutes of so, and they are large so you can probably fit 2-3 regular sized loads in them at once.
