Went to this laundromat due to problems with sister's in-home my washer and dryer. Place was okay with lots of different washing machine sizes. The reason I am giving it four stars is their credit card app wasn't working. We looked online prior to heading over and their website states that they take credit cards. We did not bring any quarters and the app we'd need to use wasn't working. We had to jam out (after loading our clothes and soap into machines) and get cash/quarters. In this day and age the credit app needs to work or put large signs out saying "Quarters Only. Sorry". There was a nice lady that was working there, but she couldn't do anything about it. read more

Its a decent laundry mat but was not happy to see their hours posted online and thier doors open until 11pm. We got there at 10pm and they were locked up tight and not a soul in sight. Kinda went there because its 1 of very few around that werent supposed to close at 10pm. Very disappointed to drive there and have to find out it was for nothing! If u find yourself in a situation like i did at this place go to GIANT WASH COIN LAUNDRY instead!! 6 min away and they are actually open as thier hours are posted! Until 11pm! read more

Wow! Needed a coin laundry while in Bloomington on business for a few weeks. I've never been to a cleaner, better-maintained facility. Their wifi is free, there are magazines and cable television, and even a child's play area. Everything was clean and super fast! We came with work laptops expecting to stay a while and were done much sooner than expected. The washing machines we chose accepted credit cards and took under 30 minutes for a full cycle. Next stop: dryers - also much faster than expected, under 35 minutes to finish. These machines also accepted credit cards. Plenty of clean folding tables at a decent height. The only thing we needed change for was the soap dispenser, which had a few decent choices. While we were there we only noticed one machine out-of-order, and there were plenty more to utilize, even on a busy Sunday morning trip. read more

My washer and dryer at home won't fit my comforter and blankets, this laundry has larger washers and dryers to accommodate large items. The place is clean and well kept inside. Plenty of machines and they have a soda and candy machine. There is a tv and a play area for kids. The machines take credit cards or quarters. read more

Very clean laundromat and to have the option to use a check card is kinda cool! Just know that the check card can be used in the big machines and dryers so if you have small loads you want to make sure you have quarters. There is always the option of having cash and getting quarters when you arrive. Vending machines for a snack and beverages as well. If it's nice outside you can open the windows and let some fresh air in so it doesn't seem stuffy in there. Really impressively clean and nice machines! read more

Needed a laundry to wash some big comforters, quilts, drive by Metro Coin Laundry on Hiway 5 and 13 in Burnsville, checked it out and went there on a Thursday morning. Very impressed, nice new machines with a variety of sizes, used the biggest, think they said 80 pound, high efficiency machines very effective, got the quilts very clean, spun them almost completely dry, dried them on low in big dryers, think all the machines take credit cards, whole place very clean and well kept, hardly anybody there that morning, and when stopped by previous Sunday were more people, but lots of available machines. Went to Metro Coin laundry when our washer broke. They had a great selection of washer and dryer sizes, it was very clean, close parking and multiple doors to get in and out with your loads of laundry, and several tables to sit while you wait. They also had a TV and vending options as well. Nice place and would go again. read more

This is a great laundrimat! (That is, as great as a laundrimat can get - it is a laundrimat afterall...) Metro is always super clean.... seriously, I have never seen a laundry as clean as this place. I have been here like 8 times now since moving to Burnsville and it is really not a bad experience (for a guy who HATES doing laundry!) They have a ton of machines - including high capacity front loading washers and driers (think 8 loads at a time). The wash is usually around like 24 minutes and the dry is 36 - so basically an hour and bam! It is all done! They have lots of laundry carts to use, lots of clean folding areas, a coin machine that can break a 20 into quarters, a kids area with toys and television with cable, a regular lounge area with tables, a pop machine, a snack machine and a flat screen with cable. They also have air conditioning, wi-fi and a Super Pac-Man machine. Hard to get excited about a laundrymat, but if you want one that is clean, safe and as classy as a laundry can get - then try Metro (you can usually find me there either on Mondays or Tuesdays... I will even let you fold my stuff!) read more

Nice and clean and the prices are average for the area. Went around 9:00 in the morning on a Thursday and nobody was there. After I was finished about ten people had arrived. It was my first time going to a laundromat, and I was impressed with the location's cleanliness (with the exception of one sticky bench that I had the displeasure of sitting on). I was able to use the massive 80-Pound capacity machine - and I was surprised at how quickly my laundry was done. There was one employee who was a bit "standoffish" and seemed visibly annoyed by simply my presence. I recognize that I was just finishing up about 30 minutes before closing, but she really could have tried a bit harder to avoid the terribly rude gestures in my direction. I understand she probably isn't there to provide any kind of customer service, so it really wasn't a big deal. All-in-all, if I have to return to a laundromat again, I wouldn't mind using Metro Coin Laundry. read more

The laundromat was over all clean. People use to much fragranced detergents, overwhelmed as soon as you enter or get ten feet near building. The dryers I used did not dry my cloths completely. Also, lots of children running around. read more

Arrived, loaded five machines and could not use my credit card for ANY of them...received "cannot connect to server" during the authorization process. What a waste of my time! This is by far the cleanest nicest laundromat I have ever been in. Like the credit card use although they had 2 change machines if needed. Will use their services in the future. Very nice laundromat. It is clean, well-maintained, has plenty of carts and three types of washers and 3 sizes of dryers for whatever your needs are. The owner was present and extremely helpful with my questions, as I hadn't been to a laundromat in some time. They have two coin changers, a vending machine and drink vending machine, a place to sit and watch tv with a separate area for people with little children. There was no waiting for any machines as it is a large facility for a laundromat. There is four rows of wash machines. Great place. read more
