I looked on Yelp on where I could go that would take credit cards, since I don't log around cash and even if I did, the cost of a load of laundry these days costs $3.00 or more which would mean a lot of quarters! The laundromat at my condo thankfully switched to the use of credit card a year ago, and I can't imagine going back to coins. Sad to see how people treat places provided to them for their basic needs. There was a man digging out of the trash in front for food to eat, I found that unsettling and sad. There is water all over the floor near one of the washers; this has been a constant problem for years. There is no soap in the Ladies room and no paper towel in the Men's room. This used to be the laundry we preferred because of the $1 discount on most machines on Monday and Wednesday. From now on we will drive the extra few miles for a more reliable laundry.

There was probably under a dozen people doing laundry; some waited while others drop off and left. There was a wash and dryer for every load size. Washer range from $3.75, $4.75, $6.00, $9.50, $12.00, and $20. Dryer cost from $2.75-6.00. There is an app, but even a tech savvy millennial like me couldn't get it to work so I ended up using my credit card instead. There was one employee who maintain the area. The atmosphere was quiet, which was nice. AMENITIES: There were vending machines available for snacks and sodas. There are about 7 laundry cart and folding stations. Lots of benches and seating area. They have soap vending machine available, change machine, and ATM. Restroom is also available. They have outlets with USB plug-in throughout seating area. They also have an outdoor vacuum to clean your car while you wait. Decent amount of parking. Wash took about 26 minutes for a $12.00 machine and dryer took about 31 minutes for a $4.00 machine. 4/5 stars because there was mold-like when I retrieved my wash. I checked the others, it didn't look dirty. It may look that way because it was wet. Overall, I would come back for large wash. I spent $32 for my two comforters and waited slightly over an hour for it to be done.

So I looked on Yelp and found this laundry mat that said it takes card payments. It was a relief for me because I didn't have to drive to the bank to take out money. I don't see a point of having machines that take card payments when they don't work. Other than that the place was clean and they have one bathroom for people to use.

Some of the machines appear newer too. There were two men walking around greeting people and sweeping the whole time I was here. I watched both of them hold doors for people as they went out and came in with their clothing. A woman came in with a very large rug and one of them helped her load it into the appropriate machine. They have extractors here, which I wish I would have used before putting my comforter in the dryer, but I wasn't sure about it. ‍ when I asked after it had gone through one cycle if I should pull it out of the dryer and put it in the extractor, the gentleman told me he thought at this point, it probably just needed more time. And proceeded to load the dryer with a dollar of not my money. While waiting for it he continued to check on me "one more?" :) It was very sweet. I don't think I've ever been spoken to at a laundromat before. This was a great experience. I will be back here when I have larger things to do.

Unless I want to do several continuous loads, that means using huge laundromat washers Suds has two massive washers. One was apparently out of order. The coin receptor on the other jams so badly, it may as well have been labeled out of order as well. Even the attendant gives up on it and refunds my money with an apology and a suggestion to use the next largest washer drum. The machine was already fully loaded with items and detergent, if course, so this made for an amusing - and very messy - swap. Tons of powder soap end up on the floor in front of both original and smaller machine. The attendant had stated he'd return the amount he and I had gotten through jamming into the first machine as well as give me a single-size soap packet to make up for what I put into the mess. In returning with the cash and seeing my large containers of detergent, he notes this and says he guesses I don't need the soap after all. Heads up: Customer service isn't about whether the guest has enough to cover your mistakes as a business - it's about taking responsible for bumps in your operation and their consequences. I jokingly muse that I could drop a note in the suggestion box, and the attendant dryly responds - Steve would never fix it. Or upgrade to coinless operations to make life much easier for his guests. Well, that's comforting. It's okay, there are plenty of laundromats that not only would, they have long provided that service. Oh, and while waiting on my washer, I spotted another guest having to unload a dryer to move his items to the next one over - because the coin receptor on it was jamming as well. Nice. Irony that in leaving this spot, I drop in on a lovely, clean laundromat down the way that I'll definitely be visiting next time I have blankets to wash. So thanks for that!
